Hi jamieallen1588 the motor mount I used is this one on eBay Electric Vehicle Brushless Motor Mounting Holder w/ Fixed Mount for 1/8 RC Car It now comes with the top section too when I built the car I didn’t have that option lol I tryed to send a pic of it but TH-cam isn’t letting me I hope this helps if you have anymore questions don’t hesitate to ask me. I hope you like the vids and thanks for the comment Kind regards Glen
Hi mate I did have to drill the last hole but not sure but I think 2 holes lined up it’s been a few years ago now 😂 but check out part 3 of the build that explains what I did to the motor mount . If the dogbones are binding up on the drive cups you may have to do the same thing . But just make sure before cutting of the bottom of the motor mount that the screw holes go into the main block of the mount so you can still screw or down if you have anymore questions please don’t hesitate to ask me I hope you like my vids thanks for the comment Kind regards Glen
Hi sir my name is Avi from South Africa I'm building a buggy it's Kyosho can u plz send me da video of your build as no one in South Africa as videos of this done. Thank in advance
Hi Avi Ramlucken thanks for the message . Unfortunately I can’t send the vids I made of the 1/8 buggy build due to the files are to big and it won’t let me . I hope you can still find them all on TH-cam. Kind regards Glen
Hey there, Thanks for the vid. I know it’s been awhile but do you know the pitch on that pinion gear? I’m converting a nitro, as we speak, and I bought a 32p pinion but it’s not right. I know it’s not a 48 p because the spur gear has beefy teeth, so I’m at a loss as to what it could be. Thanks in advance.
Looks similar to a kyosho inferno mp5 - might buy that bracket and give it a try. Thanks for the video
No worry’s mate I hope my vid helps you out and thanks for watching them
Hello I’m looking at converting my hpi trophy from nitro to brushless, what size motor have you used? Cheers
