I’m a Prince reaction video addict. Stumbled here, and I like the genuine reactions. I can tell you get him more than most. You went deep down the hole.
I love this song…and especially this version. Thank you for your reaction. Especially if someone appreciates it like you what I‘m loving since appr. 40 years. 🙏
What's to say? I mean I never get tired of listening to this. Gobsmacked, and after a couple years that this has been available I still am. "Give us a minute to get tuned up...." LOL! The greatest thing about this is watching you enjoy it.
From that aftershow CD, Alphabet St and Peach are funky guitar jams. From the broader One Nite Alone Live 2CD set, Rainbow Children, Everlasting Now - but there's guitar throughout as he was the sole guitarist for much of the tour IIRC... Most of 2nd CD is a solo piano medley.
@@GuitarSoloReactions It was his first official live release and you can see why. The level of musicianship is stellar. "Strange Relationship" version is quite phenomenal.
Yes Brian hahaha love your facial expressions, I had those too, Flanger ,Wah...Larry's Fuzzbox...Johns possessed drumming, jeesh. I embrace the dud notes in any live performance, sincere playing. I won't bore you with facts and titbits about this gig but an after show gig by the anointed one is a life changing event. Good one Brian.
I was at the L.A. version of this performance at the house of blues. This is the best song off the graffiti bridge soundtrack live. Bumped into Rhonda b4 she got on stage. She is extremely beautiful…….
Hey sir! Great video. He was playing the purple symbol guitar. There is video of this performance on TH-cam. It was cool to see because this solo is actually edited.
It was indeed the Symbol shaped guitar. There is video of the same gig that this is taken from - with some very minor editing - th-cam.com/video/MIY839TGU-U/w-d-xo.html I think for that song, it's Larry on bass with JB on drums. And the release was an official one by Prince - so soundboards by Scottie Baldwin and some minor edits.
Another classic performance. Revolution song from 1986 ish released in 1990 w npg. 86 and 90 version his guitar solo at the end. Line says "live music from a song called soul pschedeliside' the song s a year long and they been playing for months...." Part of that might be because there s a rehearl of "soul psychedelside" floating around that s 59min long. He says something like "soul psychedelside, takes up 3 albums..." Or sonething like that. Yes rhonda and john blackwell was the funk version of npg. 3rd eye girl were rockers, but they could play funk too. U can hear them in "chapters and verse" which is prince rapping over a funky groove. This is it: th-cam.com/video/oewlsUVywH4/w-d-xo.html You can also hear 3rd eye girl playing funk in flashlight/ whats my name. This is it: th-cam.com/video/8Rkqn8ikMvg/w-d-xo.html You ll appreciate the guitar in " 3121 " live on BET, this is it th-cam.com/video/kDKrwi1l2aU/w-d-xo.html and it sounds different than the album version of "3121" w the guitar played in a different key and album version has his voice sped up. You make the same face i make every time I heard a prince record. Share your reactions w prince peeps, just subscribed.
"Feline" rehearsal has a nice guitar solo in it. Its 36min long but a nice groove. Wendy is strumming a guitar part, he tells her and shows her what to play. "Just the chord, I dont care what rhythm u play" and she catches on in like 20 seconds. This is it. th-cam.com/video/A0vCpfrq2Vg/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction Brian - there is actually footage of this particular footage on TH-cam you should check out. This version is edited for inclusion on the One Nite Alone live album.
THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER IN THIS LIFETIME 💜
A one of a kind with staggering musical intellect.
Great reaction….who does a 25 song set in the Aftershow? Only Prince!
It's really hard to believe that Prince and the band could keep going.
"A little bit behind the beat, but just enough to turn you on"

-Thank you for watching, doing Prince reactions has been the most enjoyable and eye opening after doing a hundred + videos of Prince.-

Thank you as always for joining me.
Also....check out "When You Were Mine" "We Do This" and "Ana Stesia" on this album.

I plan on doing those and maybe a few others that I assume are not as guitar driven from that CD.

That is one I want to do, love that song.
Great reaction. Great version of a great song. These aftershows were incredible.
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Great reaction Brian, great to see you reacting to Prince, love his music ... thumbed up and subscribed.

Thank you for your kind observations, I don’t mind facts. Feel free to let them fly.
Peach is definitely guitar driven!

She is definitely an amazing player and hot to boot.

THAT is a great song 💜💜💜💜 thanks for doing this one.
I completely agree, an incredible guitar feast as well.
Hi Brian, the sharp white guitar, if it’s what i think u r referring to, is called the model c guitar.
Enjoyed ur review of this wonderful song.
Thanks for the info!
He's playing the symbol guitar. There is a live video for this version of the song. It gets put up and taken down all the time.
I watched it after someone mentioned there was video. Pretty cool.
you got to hear the record version
I put it on my list.
Pls excuse my language but this shit is FUCKING LIT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
