- 一天最高可以生產將近三千斤的九層塔，供應給連鎖餐飲集團和大型量販店，就來自南台灣九層塔女王黃淑女的農場!其實黃淑女原本是美容老師,在高職教美容美髮，二十年前回屏東萬丹老家種有機菜，從完全的陌生，到現在已經有十多公頃的農地，尤其是很受台灣人歡迎的香料─九層塔，就是她的主力產品。但這一路走來並不容易，她究竟是怎麼辦到的？一起來看她的故事。

Only Taiwan's basil can passed the winter. my dad help me grow basil from other countries, the seeds I bought back Taiwan on business trip. I try Taiwan's seed grow in California( not work).
My favor dish is using the older grandma basil( over 5years old as older is better) cook in bigger pot for long hours to get good juice then put old back chicken into cook......my grandma's dish better then any Chinese medicine.
We grow sweet basils here in NY. It's very easy. Basil's are so beautiful with intense favor. I think basil is a kind of easy-grown plant. Anyone can grow basil at home.

It is Thai basil
Yes, it's basil. Basils have many types. Buy at supermarket in spring and very easy to grow.

My A-Ma was Taiwanese I kind of remember she used to cook something with 九層塔 when I was a little girl, I didn’t know what it was and now I have no one to ask.
I am in Sydney and there’s no such basil at Coles or Woolworths , I presume it must be “Thai" basil as the other person said, spring is coming up soon I’ll see if I can find Thai basil seeds and plant it in the garden.
