Matching the Bait to the Conditions for Early Season Trout

On this adventure I was targeting trout on a shallow grass flat that I had located. I experienced problems getting connected to the trout, even though they were attacking my topwater bait. I made the switch to a #Mirrodine and had instant success. Only to find out I was in the nursery.
