- Day 3 Walking the Camino de Santiago. Walking 21.4 km from Roncesvalles to Zubiri. Roncesvalles is one of the major starting points to walking the Camino de Santiago on the French Way. It is home to the most iconic Albergue on the trail.
Day 3 on the Camino Frances includes 21.4km of walking through small villages and mostly farm land. With the final 8km going up and over a small mountain into the town of Zubiri.
A difficult portion of the hike as my body gets used to carrying the weight of my backpack while walking for many hours. I am not going to lie, I was pretty happy to see the town of Zubiri and to check into the Albergue.
A realistic day on the camino de Santiago
