Honda has always been the pricier of the Japanese manufacturers - but overall the car is affordable (not cheap/budget) - honestly it's not meant to be cheap. The magic is that the upfront purchase price is easy to forget considering the unbreakable reputation in terms of reliability. I would take the entry level for R60K less
Firstly, great review, thank you! It's a very "Mom-car". Also, why does it(the car) sound like an empty bus when you talk, it has that weird hollow sound that a bus would make then there are a few people in it, insulation question. Those seat designs are very Suzuki Baleno/fronx-like. The price is very SUS-for a budget car, at that point you'd rather get the grand Vitara. And yes, as clichéd as it is, a second hand Jolion is in there. But ultimately its an inoffensive car- your money.
This is likely my favourite car in the segment. It's basic, practical, nice and roomy. They really maximised on the boxy dimensions. The one thing that Grand Vitara has over it though is the fact that you can get it with a manual top-spec. But if I had the rands and cents, I'd probably go for this Honda. I don't think it's too overpriced.
@@JaydenAndrewsTech Nah, from what I could tell when I went to look at the cars, the Honda's boot was significantly bigger. The Susuki rides higher and is taller and maybe gives off that feeling.
For that price, I'm taking a used T-Cross R-Line. Looks much better, doesn't whine like this, better on fuel. A 'budget' car doing 6l/100km is ridiculous
Hey Reba, is the sunroof an optional extra or is only available on the high end trim!? Also, for a car that has almost the same value proposition as a Suzuki Baleno GLX. That asking price is insane. Honda shouldn't even call this a budget car. You're entering the Mid-range vehicle level with this car's price. What's even worse is that it has no cruise control. I'm going for the Baleno GLX over this. I can live without a sunroof. Aowa😂
make this car R500k then add Panoramic sunroof , give it 2l turbo engine with 115kw power add wireless charging and cruise control . Then I would buy it otherwise it’s a great car .

This honda does not have cruze comtrol even on the top spec
