Illayaraja sir was way ahead of his time when it comes to music. The rhythmic beats are so funky even to this day . With just a few instruments at his disposal compared to the advancement we see today , the magic he created with his music is outstanding and it had left an indelible impression in peoples minds ( 90s kids would know that ) . He is undoubtedly the greatest music composer in the history of Indian cinema . I hope his music stays alive for many decades to come .
