The pre-formed shapes you guys make it up or its order made? Ply or custom wood (mdf)?

We manufacture the custom cove pieces out of MDF. Most of the cove ceilings we sell are made to order. We carry 1 stock kit called the Universal Cove Kit (11 1/4" radius)

I am now officially obsessed!! You guys are going to get me into HUGE TROUBLE!! lol Quick question, I live in an old historical building, is it just as easy to install the cove ceiling in a pre-existing/archaic structure? The walls are a foot thick, old school plaster and some are actually stone under the plaster. So far all your videos are of new construction which must be so much easier!! And would this work if the room wasn't perfectly square/rectangular? I have the most annoying room that is screaming for a cove ceiling but it has some odd shapes and obstacles. It's only redeeming quality is high ceilings!! Frankly, I'd prefer a groin-vaulted but the room is just not worthy!! You've got me thinking of that for my front entrance!!!
So, ok for a cove in an old creepy castle with foot thick walls and a ceiling that may or may not be 100% straight! lol And will the odd shape suit the cove?
Does anyone ever do just one wall? I have more oddities with odd bulkhead in my master bedroom on one side that I hate.... a cove would make it vanish!!! But how to end it may be the challenge. You've also got me thinking of chucking all my boring door frames and doing gothic arching!! This is a slippery slope!! lol Sorry to ramble, I was so enthralled I pulled an all-nighter watching all your videos and researching decor!!! I don't suppose you guys have an office in Montreal?? I have yet to see anyone local who does this kind of bada*s craftmanship!! LOL Do you even ship to Canada?

yes. Installing the cove kit is the easy part. However, if you are matching existing cove ceilings in the home, that can be the tricky part. Tricky for 2 reasons... 1. matching the radius of the existing cove 2. matching the finish. If your gutting the project, then it is a breeze. If you have questions or need insight we are here to help .

@@ArchwaysAndCeilings Thanks for the response, no coved ceilings here....yet.... so that's one less thing to worry about!! And a room that has some odd shapes, not your basic 4 walls, it will still look great? NO gutting, I want to destroy as little as possible! Done too much in the past!! And you ship to Montreal? What's the best way to reach you? Email/phone? Thanks again!!
