Finally! It’s about time both professions communicated more. I am pro chiropractic and welcome the communication between the two professions. I am a firm believer that invasive procedures should be the last option. Once you go under the knife it can’t be reversed in many cases. Nelson is talking sense. Can I also say that I feel that massage therapists should also be included in this as they can also play a part. They help to deal with muscular problems.
I totally relate to this. I'm an academic neuroscientist and my chiropractor also has a PhD in Neuroscience. In the last 2y since I first started getting chiropractic adjustments we've had very educative and eye-opening discussions about how everything is interconnected.

Bravo doctors, my 2 cents, help the patient heal, adapt, and recover. All specialties involved. Living tissue manipulated, or decompressed, or removed, or immobilized. We can work well together for the patient's benefit.
