My dad just surprised me and gave me 1887 & 1890 Morgan silver dollars and 10 1976 $2bills, now I have 4 Morgan’s 2 gold 1903 & 1907 plus the silver ones he just gave me.

The manufacturing plant that I've been working at for the past year and 8 months has a coin machine and it only spits out the dollar coins. In that year and 8 months I've been able to pull out 31 wide rim Susan B Anthony's and 2 wounded eagle Sacagawea's. I've been very lucky to find all those in that amount of time.

Thanks for going into such detail for us. I believe had the SBA been made of a different composition than the quarter and had it been a slightly larger size (say between the quarter and half dollar size) it may have been a little more accepted in commerce, although I do believe unless the paper $1 is removed entirely from circulation, a dollar coin is something that will have a hard time gaining full acceptance among consumers.

Someone used 10 of thier 1979 Susan B.'s at a gas station and I got 3 of them! Nice condition with one being the wide version. Being a newbie I find just the info on them interesting! Lol!

Hey Sean enjoy your videos I came across the dime coin roll hunting and it has Franklin D Roosevelt on the front and it has Franklin D Roosevelt on the back 1976 Philadelphia mint I've looked at it and I looked at it and it looks like a dime to me

When having a coin sent for grading? What is the best safest way to make sure it gets there. And, after grading if its worth $$ how do you sell it?
What if you have all Susan b Anthony coins in a complete set D P and S proof. Are they going to be worth something.
I found a 1994 Susan B. Anthony in a $25 roll recently, spent it, like gratuity.
I used to get silver certificates as gratuity in the 1990s but tripling a dollar or two into five or six wasn't worth the effort back then when comic books were already three dollars and nobody was buying silver certificates (pre-internet)
Silver certificates are more like $20 or $30 now, but we're thirty years later and deeper into hylerinflation.

aces!...maybe the next quarter series of innovative women will boost them. there was a House Bill to start them in 2009 so I thought it made sense...every 20 years 79, 99, 09....but so it goes. now I have all the business UNCs in mint cello. a nice variety besides the rim and mintmark would help, too.

I must say, I was not an insane stacker 4 years ago. I collected a ton of coins but never had time to go through them. I just came across this when I wasn't searching ne thing close. I like the Susan B Anthony. I looked and got a chuckle that this is 4 years old. and was bummed to find out how little something with so much history is worth. Well this one view ought not be worth much either but I learned something and that is never a waste. You are my #1 go to so it worked out great. 😉

correction I have a 1999 proof cameo they only made 750:000at the Philadelphia mint 1999 , it's the lowest mintage of all the years
i have a couple susan B anthony coins but one i think might be an error. i’m not sure tho. i’m kinda new to the coin collecting community so i don’t know to much about how to dignify if this is an error or not, but compared to my two other coins one of my susan b anthonys seems to have fat letters that almost touch. i’m still not sure though. please get back to me.

I get rolls of dollar coins just to look for stray proofs and cheerios. Otherwise i just spend them. Spending dollar coins is a hobby in itself lol. By the time you add in gas prices, shipping, time, ebay fees, etc, even the more valuable ones are hardly worth the effort to sell unless it’s a very rare version

One of the KenJo Gem Coins long time wheelhouse series SPD. A set that that is well within reach of the vast majority of collectors. Now that FB has come along to clear up the confusion on the 1981-S Type I versus Type II MM Styles. For years, the friggin' Red Book was muddying the waters with their stubborness in calling the 1981-S Filled vs Clear S. That drove me nuts, as well as, opened the door for the occasional ignorant eBay seller (or crook) to become defiant that their common @ss 1981-S Type I was the 'SCARCE' CLEAR 'S" Type II. Fought that battle for way too many years until I said, self, you are fighting a losing battle. At that point I would have the wife of kid buy as many 1981-S Proof Sets blind on the bay from non coin sellers (even paying retail) and we proceeded to be quite successful in cherry picking all denominations from the Cent thru the SBA Dollar itself that were housed in Mixed MM Style Proof Sets of 1981-S, although we only ever scored one complete Type II Proof Set of 1981-S. That is a more scarce modern item than the pricing indicates both on the wholesale and retail side (IMHO) o this day. Sold that set to the Golden Eagle (you probably know the name from down below the Baltimore Beltway) at the ANA show and they paid us, are you ready GREYSHEET ASK. There was a first and last time for everything, brother. LOL

Where to upgrade the coin
Their is a coin shortage no one at the banks are giving any boxes or change at this time. Due to Covid19. I was lucky i got a box but had nothing to do n went through them in less then 24 hours. But i found a lot of die cracks n errors on several of those Quarter's. I am even hoarding the box of $500. Lol
