Breguet XIV

Conçu pendant la première guerre mondiale pour servir comme bombardier et avion de reconnaissance, le Breguet 14 construira néanmoins sa réputation dans le monde civil au sein de compagnies aussi célèbres que les légendaires Lignes Latécoère. Designed during WW1 to serve as both a bomber and reconnaissance airplane, the Breguet XIV mostly built his reputation with civilian companies like the famous Latecoere lines. The Breguet 14 was noteworthy as the first aircraft in mass production to use large amounts of metal -rather than wood-in its structure, allowing the airframe to be lighter than a wooden airframe of the same strength, in turn making the aircraft very fast and agile and able to outrun many fighters of the day.
