Dart Zone MK 1.2, Any Good?

- I recently got this blaster on sale and I am glad I did. There have been so many negative opinions of this blaster, I figured I needed to do a video, since I had a different opinion. Granted I got it for way less than the original retail release, it is still the best, in my opinion, DZ blaster. Now when is that DZ 2.1 sale going to happen again?

You won’t gain much fps with a touch more barrel. I added 3” to mine so I could add a string scare and only gained about 5-8fps (it actually has a 13mm I.D. Barrel). I will say I used a quick swap barrel adapter for a nexus pro which allowed me to put in a different barrel and I have the ability to quick swap them without disassembling the blaster. I myself also installed a mag adapter from worker because this moved the magazine a good 1/4” forward which in turn puts your next round partiality in the dart gate and has a much lower profile than the dart zone one. This is one of my favorite blasters, and even with my harrier I still love it and think it’s way better than people give it credit for. My only gripe is lack of a skinny pusher and by the way the pusher is attached I’d say it’s probably not likely we will get one.
Good to know! Yeah, I love the skinny pusher on my TC. I bought some for the Stryker, but then I xpt 'd it, which made the skinny pusher unuseable.
Feels like theres a little bit of forgiveness given to PTDZ simply because the people buying these types of blasters are typically already familiar with our hobby, and therefore we can overlook some minor defects, because we fix them ourselves. However, as a large international company PTDZ has slacked a bit and we havent outted them yet. The simple fact that a blaster like this isnt a 99% complete package out of the box is really unacceptable in any other industry or hobby. The stock shouldnt be an issue, its seems they reverted since the 1.0, the slack and jams are acceptable at a nexus price point, but not at the "pro" level.
I agree that I would not recommend this to a novice. I don't overlook the issues, but I do have a biased opinion with my intended interest. I do think it is a nice option for beginner modding. My favorite DZ entry is still the Dictator. Just the flip mag is kinda dumb. I just use regular mags. Talons preferred. They just gravity drop in. Thanks for watching, dude! I need to do more posts!
Do you thing the folding worker buffer tube will be agood alternative so as to still be able to use the clip on the stock
I've seen people replace it with stock attachment to buffer tube attachments. Then just put on your favorite buffer tube stock. Or just put on a Nerf stock.
Im still waiting for my nstrike to buffer tube folding adapter. Looking for a spring to get it to 130-150 consistently. I tried a stock ceda-s spring but still hits at times 160+.
