You could 3d print a clay comb for your sluice with a 🗜️ on each side. 🗜️-|πππππππ|-🗜️ ----_🌊_🌊_🌊_---- You could also use firm silicone to make bristles so that the clay chunks don't pass until they break down. Make multiple combs of lesser size for smaller chunks.

You won't believe this Jeff. Well maybe you will. In heavy commercial concrete. We use the wedges too. Guess what we call them. Miners wedges. And don't get me going on a miners wrench. It's a crescent wrench with a hammer on the heavy end. Lol 😂

At 24:44 the large rock on the 4th riffle appeared to be a nugget caked in clay. I only caught a glimpse of color but I think it maybe was missed. The largest rock in that riffle caked in red clay.

One obvious question grams tonsof material? One other thing that might be good for a future video would be field dry panning techniques... you've stated nuggets run in clusters and often with Au fines so say if your detecting how to search the surrounding soil especial for those of us in very dry climates...
In the early 70's we could still buy carbide & lamps. In those days battery & bulb TEC wasn't like it is today. Spelunking the only way to spend a long time underground was to use carbide. Really worked well. Cheers from Northern California!!!

I had a working replica of the Carbide Miners Lamp when I was 10 years old (45...gasp...years ago). I bought it with a can of carbide and had it working just like you see here. Suitable for a Minor-Miner. XD

Wow, that's amazing. I am thankful that you shared so much knowledge with us. Your videos help me so much. Just got done crushing some copper ore and panning it down to see if there was any shiny. I think mabie there is. Hard to tell, there's a lot of pyrite in it as well as malachite. I'm out in these hills trying though. Thanks again!
