Between 1950 & 1969 the Browns played in more NFL titles games (11) than any other team ever did during a 20 year time frame. They also played in 6 consecutive NFL title games (1950-55) & no other team ever played in more than 4 straight. Including their 4 seasons in the AAFC they played in 15 total championship games in 25 years, including 10 straight (1946-55). I've sent the link to others & will watch again, over and over and never be bored. And to all my brothers & sisters Browns fans: this year finally, the SUPERBOWL BROWNS!!!😍
The two worst mistakes the Browns ever made: 1. Modell prompting Jim Brown to retire after Modell threatened him with fines for not appearing on time for training camp. Had Modell been more lenient with the team's best player, Brown would have returned and the Browns would have most likely have defeated the Packers and gone on to win Super Bowl I. 2. The Browns trading Paul Warfield to the Miami Dolphins in 1970. Beyond stupid. When Warflied left the team, the Browns were no longer an NFL championship contender, and Warfiield of course played an integral role in the Dolphins winning back-to-back Super Bowls.
You were the best Jimmy Brown and you're STILL the best ....I had the honor and privilege of meeting him at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in '99 ....I was standing in a line of people actually two lines that formed a lane between the two lines that the fans made in an area where the race drivers had to walk through to get where they were going I'll NEVER forget it a few race drivers came through and then I saw Jimmy Brown coming down the line I said really loud oh my Goodness it's Jim freaking Brown. ...Everyone just shut up looked down the line and all I started hearing was its Jim Brown it's Jim Brown EVERYONE was in AWE I made sure I got his attention I had on a CLEVELAND INDIANS jacket on I said hello Mr Brown I'd be honored if you would sign my jacket I'm sorry I don't have any Browns items on me But from the Cleveland area and you are the GREATEST to ever play he said your jacket is just fine he signed it and I was just mesmerized I'll NEVER forget it !
