My heart goes out to Roydell Williams, dude came to Florida State hoping to have a big final year and they barely give bro the ball. I love coach Norvell, but he's deserving of the harsh criticism he's getting.
Saban encouraged Roydell Williams to transfer because Jam Miller and Justice Haynes weren't going to wait another year behind him.

Looking like another Willie Taggart coaching job. DJ ain't the answer. Should've paid Cam Ward and Lane Kiffin. SMH Sick

They refused it, should’ve just paid the man

From a locker room standpoint unless DJ is the unquestioned leader, you gotta give Brock a chance. When your “best player” turns out to not be your best player, that can affect an entire team’s confidence. The whole team has the yipps
Jordan Travis masked our overrated OLs. Our defensive line prowess has been three great hired assassins and nothing else during this regime. The fundamentals- blocking and tackling- have been lacking for almost a decade now.
Our team is schizophrenic. Even the Bowling Greens and UTEPs of the world have identity on offense and know how to get set on defense, year in year out. If you want to say we’re replacing a lot, it’s a valid excuse, but why roll out with DJU if we’re playing guessing games in conference losses two weeks in a row?

In five years Norvell hasn't been able to recruit a single decent offensive tackle. The coaching staff needs a major overhaul.

I would put in more on coaching then recruiting. If you watch the draft closely you can see numerous examples every year where a 3 Star kid was coached up and is getting drafted. Yet, the same is true on the other side as well, you can bring in a 4 Star kid and if you don't have the coaches that can teach the fundamentals of line play and the associated techniques you get what we are seeing.
Upset and tired, but wanted to watch you two, Corey & Ira. Thank you for all you do.

Take the Offensive line for instance, how many recruits did we get the past 3-4 years thst are starting compared to the ones we get from the portal? Remember Julian Aremela being a 5 star OL and the kids been here 3 yrs and can't beat out these stiffs we have starting? What about Early, Sapp etc? Nobody is developing

I watched another podcast with Aaron Murray analyzing DJ and he said it was amazing that DJ can’t throw a spiral. I watched closely tonight and he is absolutely right. He looks worse than a high school QB. The defense is another story. It’s going to be easy playing defensive back this season because no one will need to throw on us because they know we stink up front and at linebacker. Sad…
If I'm not mistaken I believe that the DBs lead this team in tackles. Led by Shyheim Brown. DL and LBs are getting bullied
That call to go for it on fourth down on the first drive after the half was one of the worst calls I’ve see a coach make in a very very long time.

@@bodhinutah I get desperation but they were down only by 8 points with two full quarters to go. Well over the wrong side of the 50. Our defense was just starting to get in a better rhythm and had made a few stops. That call blew up in their face and essentially was the death nail making every possession from there on our legit desperation. I’m a big Norvell fan but he’s blew the last two games with his play calling Imo.

My dad a UGA alum sent me a text and said can't they even get the clock working in Tally? This team has no talent a result of 3 of Mike's recruiting classes outside the top 20 and no top 10 classes at FSU the receivers couldn't;'t separate from BC secondary not good 3-9 team

Gone Jared Verse , Brady Fisk, Favian Lovett , Dennis Briggs Malcolm brown, Edmunds . Kalen Deloach , Bertune, Renaldo green, jarrian Jones, Travis Jordan . keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Benson . All but two of these guys are in the NFL. Pure playmaker on both sides of the ball. Georgia showed us that in the bowl game. The linebackers are indecisive, defensive line no gap integrity. Offensive line without there coordinator not motivated. Not the same team but yet i ride

As a Bama fan I would like to give y'all a sincere thank you 🙏. Because your coach was on the short list to replace Saban. Now I will say our fans never wanted him. They all wanted either Dan Lanning or DeBoer with a few Kiffin fans out there. But Kiffin was never getting thet job because he burned to many bridges at Bama and Saban couldn't stand him. But after y'all gave him the raise he was taken out of the mix thankfully😅😅😅. Man we dodged a bullet there. Thanks Florida State. Sincerely a bama fan.
One of the reasons "we want Brock" is because he is a Seminole....nothing personal against DJU, I don't blame him for taking the money and PT, but I was one of the few guys preaching that hitting the portal like a caffeine addict on their 10th Starbucks was a bad idea last year. Rebuilding needs to be done correctly, and it is better to give PT to guys who are the future of your program. If you were a HS recruit ready to start playing your first year, would you sign for a team that is just going to bring in a portal player to take your spot?

It’s time to stop defending DJs play. Yes the receivers drop passes. But you cannot defend this stat line. He’s slower than molasses. I defended him big time after the GT but you have to make a switch. Dj won’t be here next year. Get Brock out there to maybe find a spark and even if he doesn’t he gets valuable reps for next year. I’d rather watch a freshman make those throws.
It actually could be worse, Bill O'Brien having not been in college for a while forgot that you don't need to let up on people and kneel at the end of the game like the Pros do. The way the defense was offering little resistance at the end I'm sure they could have punched it in for another 7.
FSU has taken a giant step back (about 5 years) DJ ugly needed to be replaced in the 2nd qtr, no disruptors on defense or leaders like Verse, Fish, Green, J Jones. Offensive line is back to a group of men who could not open a hole in a wet paper bag even if someone started the hole. I would be telling the offense and defense today. No one is a started, everyone has a shot at being the starter, it will depend on who wants it bad enough and who can prove it come game time. Norvell needs to quit blaming himself and start laying the blame on the players.

DJU doesn't make others better. He inspires nobody to want to play for him. Brock at least has what for and heart. He proved that in his limited time last year
Our problems go way beyond DJ, every single facet of this team is broken except for special teams. Throwing Brock out there will not help us at all.

As a forever Seminole fan, I decided to enter the Transfer Portal last night at 11:00 pm. I’ll be transferring to either Alabama, or Tennessee.
When your QB can't hit the broad side of a barn the opposing defense can focus on shutting the run down. BC picked this up from the GA Tech game. And being a UT (TN) fan I've seen this for years... Gurantano, Milton... and you can't blame the QB because it's the coach that refuses to admit they were wrong and replace the QB. Even if you don't have a replacement, replace him... change is the only thing that will work. Hey and sometimes that steady, no mistakes, 2 or 3 star backup is all you need.

I think its ridiculous people are questioning Mike Norvell's ability to coach. As if we didn't win the ACC last year by out hearting all the other teams. It takes a real coach to do that. Just let the man coach the team.

1. When a team struggles, you have to go back to what Coach Bowden and Andrews would say………YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO RHE FUNDAMENTALS. Tackling, discipline, blocking, catching, ball security etc.
2. This is what happens when you play with the portal and don’t develop your QB. JT wasn’t good when he first started but Norvell developed him and stayed with him and look how GREAT he turned out to be. DJ hasn’t been developed by anyone and unfortunately he is just a bad product with all the physical attributes but good QB fundamentals are not there.
3. We have NO Killers, No Dawgs and you have to have them and right now we have 0 zero

Last night's offensive output was as enjoyable and entertaining as being forced to watch a recorded colonoscopy.
Is it just me or does DJ U never throw a spiral. His throws always seem to be slow and flutters. I think that's a part of the reason why the receivers have a difficult time catching the ball sometimes.
I watched FSU since 1980. This is the worst FSU team in 44 years! DJU sucks, he's inaccurate (overthrows, into the ground, 2-3 yards to side of receivers), know pocket presence. We know why Dabo got rid of him! Kyle Morlock TE had 3-4 drops, can't block, he's terrible. Please let Freshman 5 star Landen Thomas TE play! Wide receivers other than Portier can't get open! O line terrible, can't run the ball or protect the QB! 30 yards rushing against BC. DLine is terrible(can't stop the run, no pash rush!). Where 's MJJ, Pat Payton, Farmer, Darrell Jackson? No depth! Linebackers are terrible, can't cover running backs out of the backfield or tackle!Randy Shannon can't recruit and he must go! Can't wait to see what Jeff Cameron will say tomorrow? Where the hell is the leadership on this team? Adam Fuller must go? It's obvious we miss J Trav, Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Jaheim Bell, DeLoach, Bethune, Akeem Dent, Renardo Green, Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, etc. In the end, Norvell's recruited poorly at the high school level and misevaluted the transfers this year! How the hell do you lose to GA Tech and BC by 15 points at home! We have more talent than both of those teams! Miami's going to beat us by 40-50 points! Looking at our schedule: I see a 4-8 or 3-9 team! Only Cal, Duke, N Carolina, Charleston Southern as possible wins! My's well start Brock Glenn, Sam Singleton, Blake Nicholson, etc! Can Norvell turn it around? I don't know! This is an embarrassment to the boosters, alumni, fans, etc! I love the Noles and will continue to support and watch them, but this is frustrating as hell! We deserve better than this! How can we go 13-0 regular season in 23 and go 0-2 in 24? It's crazy!

I'm not sure how you judge the "hired talent" on this team. DJ looked this way in his last game at Clemson, once he gets down he spirals out of control. I have never seen a Sr. QB look this bad, especially one paid for in the portal. Wonder how much Alex Adkins is being missed?
If your QB is going to consistently throw low, perhaps recruit some short receivers.
Develop Brock Glen. He was a four star recruit.He is FSU’s future! Develop quarterbacks like Bobby did. You get a senior quarterback who had three different teams, numerous position coaches and no loyalty to our program and you get him in the portal too.If you need a quarterback and get him in the portal… that means you got some major issues. He can’t even hit a shallow corner route wide open in the end zone. The team has no excitement or passion. There’s a coach in Colorado who built “this house”. I will settle with putting our future stars in now and develop them. I bleed Garnet and Gold.Go Noles.If you develop players like Coach Chuck Amato, Mickey Andrews, Wayne McDuffie etc, WE will win. I believe Norvell is a good head coach, but the problem is OC and DC. We have had great athletes that could hide this. Travis bailed us out a lot last year. We have always been anemic on Offense and Verse and Laborn has highlighted the D. This is where schemes and timing is needed and that's on the coaches!!

The prevailing thought is a team has a certain culture that carries over, year over year. TCU fell off after they made the payoff last year. FSU lost a lot of players and Jordan Travis was a baller and leader. You guys got 2 players on your defense that started for us (Miami). On paper, the defensive line was a strength, but they are not. Giving up 263 yards rushing and only running for 21 is the reason FSU lost.
Well, nobody talking about Paul Finebaum or Kirk.. Focus on team and One game at a time team, get that first win next game.
Mike cared more about not hurting DJ's feelings than he did about the school and the fan base or the players that have played at Fsu
