Hi, thanks for the review. I don't suppose you can recall which screen (model number?) came with your model? I believe it should be the newer B series screens that should be shipped?
Yes it was the newer screen. I remember Hisense even telling me I had to choose the "second generation" option in the settings when installing the panel. It wasn't called second generation but something along the lines of 2 or B.
@@GLITCHEDZA Yeah thanks, you right it was the B series which is the new fresnel type screen whereas the the first gen was the lenticular screen in my research. Asking i have just received my 120L5H and to my disgust i received the older A series with the low 0.4 gain screen which is useless to me. I want the new B series Fresnel 1.4 high gain daylight screen which is the DLT120-B1 series. So wrong to be sending out old outdated stock.
I did think the PL1 was brighter than the L5H. It also uses less power which is a big deal here. But I did review the PL1 at 100-inches and it can go up to 120". I am not sure if the larger image affects the quality of the picture. But the PL1 was typically brighter for me and that alone makes it a better model in my books.
I got a dead pixel 2 weeks into having it. Going for a repair just before the warranty runs out, just incase I get anymore… annoying.

Hi, how is the fan noise?
@Glitched How does the L5K compare against the PL1?

Wow! That is very, very impressive!
