For those bed goes on platform: put the bed on the floor, slowly drag platform on bed, for example, drag 1x3 platform everytime to cover the bed. I tried and it's worked :D
No matter what I do it keeps moving my bed onto the platform or when I tried moving platform onto the bed, it moves the bed to the side.
@@meghanfoster4563 maybe u can try to drag the platform area bigger enough to cover bed (avoid platform have same size with bed) & make sure enter bb.moveobjects as well!
@Leu Choyling I did try that too but it doesn't seem to work, I tried with different beds as well but that didn't help either.

@@sheepyhead0399 Thank you! Though I was only saying that this is simmer is in god tier of creativity. Like who needs CCs if you can do it like her? SHE EVEN FLIPS STUFF TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER. Like people won’t usually think of doing that lol. Her creativity is nuts and out of this world in a good way.

You can. If you place a small fence (for example the one that's just on the ground) you can elevate that room and just delete the fence afterwards ☺️

Having a lil platform as a bedside cabinet.... GENIUS
I found a solution for a bed 'jumping up' on a platform (a bit different way to the Simtopia one)
1. Build a narrow platform from one corner where the normal wall sinks into that indent wall to another (basically leave that indent floor space empty)
2.then put part of the bed into that narrow platform - the bed will sink in.
3. Then fill in that indent behind the bed with another platform and raise it, and position the bed in a way that you can see the pillows but not headboard.
And then add a platform at the end of the bed.
Don't know it that makes any sense but if it does, try it 😅 I've tried all the suggestions in comments and this is the only one that worked for me

В этом плане нам любителям строительства крупно повезло, есть потенциал для творчества. А, ваши видео очень вдохновляют на новые идеи и проекты.
Слишком много идей с этими платформами😁 Я из-за них не могу дом закончить стоить, то одно придумается, то второе😄
@@SIMSTOPIA Вот и у меня та же проблема))). Один дом почти построила, когда платформы появились, менять особо не стала, а в другом слегка только опробовала). В голове чехарда от идей))), осталось определиться и никак))) Ваши работы всегда уникальны, с огромным удовольствием смотрю. Есть чему поучиться. Разработчикам нужно было выдать эти платформы на два месяца раньше, мы бы как раз с ними наиорались, а потом и новое дополние было бы как раз☺️

I was just trying out your trick, and now I found out how you do it - one needs a platform that is connected to a wall, then the objects do not "jump" up. Pretty witty, that explains why you had to take all these steps! Thank you for showing it and EA, please do not fix the walls ^^

Here’s my issue with these designs. I hate seeing the little glitches from merging objects together.

Ну какие же крутые идеи у вас! После просмотра автоматически тянет идти в симс пробовать их. Единственное, что лично меня раздражает в платформах, что нельзя в них "вмонтировать" шкафы нормально. Постоянно на саму платформу все ставится. И то что бассейны не ставятся рядом. Ведь можно было бы шикарные большие лестницы из платформ делать к бассейнам, которые стоят на возвышении.
Столько возможностей теперь с этими платформами, просто шик! Спасибо за идеи, это очень классно выглядит! Теперь кровать может выглядеть как футон, что очень классно, учитывая тематику дополнения! Обязательно буду применять это в своей игре))
Это обновление лучше нового дополнения, еще и бесплатно 😁
Жаль только, что это обновление с платформами поломало некоторые лестницы в игре, надеюсь, починят(
@@SIMSTOPIA А как именно сломались лестницы? Их нельзя будет использовать или они не устанавливаются? Не проверяла все виды лестниц, но те что успела поставить в домах с платформами, вроде работают... А так, согласна абсолютно, обновление просто прекрасное!
@@verdevestalia8769 попробую объяснить, "обычные" лестницы работают, но среди строителей был очень папулярен трюк, благодаря которому можно было удалить часть потолка и сделать помещение в стиле лофт. Вот это обновление сломало этот трюк и симы больше не могут подняться по таким лесницам на второй этаж.

may i ask how you prevent the furniture from snapping to the height of the platform? for example, when you put the ottomans down? even when i hold alt, have cheats and move objects on, it still snaps to the height of the platform, even if there is a wall!

Press RB LB to turn things in a certain direction

Y'all listen up! I posted this in the replies of the pinned comment too.
This one didnt work for me either. I was building a studio unit, so I was ok with the floor being up a a platform level (besides a 4x4 at the door which was at ground level for a type of "mud area"). If you are ok with that, then here's what I did.
1) I placed the bed, alt key, all that fun stuff. Then I used the wall tool to draw a room all the way across the headboard and used the lil arrow at the top to raise the platform to cover the headboard.
2) I basically drew walls around the bed, giving it its own lil temporary room, and used the fun arrow button again to raise the floor up one click in the spaces surrounding the bed.
3) Ok, so now I have my bed lower than the rest of the room. Headboard hidden away, all that fun stuff. Go to the build options, (press B) and select the platform tool. use that to make a platform around the bed.
4) delete all the walls you don't want, and if the ceiling above the spot where you put the platform has mysteriously disappeared, go up a floor, build a room, delete the walls, and smack a roof on that baby.
Hope this helped! *Don't be afraid to mess around with the floor situation, you could probably get away with NOT making the whole floor a tic higher*, but I wanted my floor like that anyway.

you need to change the camera settings. You have the "The Sims 4" camera selected, and my "The Sims3" camera. The camera can be changed in the right-left corner of the screen

been trying to do this but for some reason the bed always snaps on to the platform even when i'm pressing alt or when i have bb.moveobjects on. it have been frustrating me to no end.

these are all great, but how the fudgecicle do you get the stupid beds to not clip on top of the platforms??? I'v just one to one tried to make the bed at 4:08 and it wont work.

Жаль, конечно, что нам не дали возможность хотя бы на пару кликов опускать платформы на втором, третьем и выше этажах.
Кто-то ждёт ферму, кто-то что-то вроде отзеркаливания и уменьшения предметов с помощью ползунков, цветовой круг, машины ... А я жду просто потолки. И мансарды. Дачу. Всё. Уже представляю какая бы красотень получилась........ Но всё равно Ваши работы будут выглядеть в разы лучше, чем что-то ещё. Вы и Marmelad(надеюсь правильно написала ник) меня вдохновляете! Это шикарно! Смотрю Вас обеих не так давно, но вы столько делаете для нас. Вы даже на коментарии отвечаете, хотя многи так не делают! Вы так стараетесь для нас! ♥
Кухонные шкафы привязываются к стене в любом случае, можно удалить стены чтобы не привязывались.
У меня они не прилипают и сразу ставятся как надо, потому что я уже привыкла их размещать, нужно зажать ALT и стараться размешать не вблизи стены, а как бы чуть дальше от нее, а потом двигать. Блин я не знаю как объяснить))) Могу посоветовать угл камеры поставить сверху и сбоку, тогда удобнее будет размешать шкафы.
Я жду ферму и нормальных подростков)

Im. Trying this but the drawers in 2nd design doesnt go inside whole. On the platform always have the side appears and it wont go close to other drawers

Hello!! I tried to insert the bed into the platform according to your lesson, but neither the codes that you have written in the video, nor ALT help !!! And the beds and seats all fit onto the platform !! Could you explain how you manage to install everything ???
