The fact that you weren't even considered for EA game changers to create some of the start homes REALLY upsets me. You are such a building genius its a shame they only went with the more popular creators.

The snowy escape pack certainly makes this a lot easier. I was building lofts and removing floors and losing my mind to get this kind of a look back in the day. Thanks for the tutorial!!!
I wanted to build a loft a few times but couldnt figure out how :/
But now with platforms :D
You don't need the pack to build them though ☺️

It’s really annoying how you can’t use the space in the platform... like it could be cool to put a wardrobe in there from get together or something... hopefully in future updates! Otherwise, thank you for some awesome build ideas!!! I really love the new platforms!

I managed to get the get together closer to work with some fiddling, the trouble is your sim can’t walk over that space so I had to slide the bed around a bit but I got there
I completely agree! I was so excited once I heard about platforms, my first house was going to be a tiny one with a pet area, complete with pet door, under the platform! I was so mad when I realized I couldn't build like I wanted. This video made me really hopeful that I could, but nope. Lovely video still. I hope they change it so we can.
Exactly. I was suuuper disappointed that we could not use the space under a platform. I was excited to get to do real tiny house layouts easily. But nope. :/
The most infuriating part is that, based on pre-release build videos, it looks like platforms were originally going to be *just* platforms with empty space beneath them, but they changed it before release.

@@SIMSTOPIA yes! From what I have been seeing is that the possibilities may be endless. I am not much into building but I am even having fun with them! I feel like i have a little more free range now
Your builds are always so creative! Also love that you actually include the commands and what keys to use to scale up and down, and usually keep it base game so it's accessible for everyone. Even without Snowy Escape, these ideas are very useful with different items! Thank you so much for all the inspiration

this is REALLY GOOD-
i struggle with building alot. unfortunately.. my builds always come out weird with the same colour or just generally cluttered. i loved this. it not too cluttered, its not empty, my sim doesnt walk in and get the moodlet of like no decor, its perfect. i also love the style so much!!!!!

You don't need snowy escape to use platforms. Platforms and many other awesome things is a base game update. Both you and I can make this.
