@@ryandavies6243 I always had a lot issues with it as well but when it came out, most people were just hyped for some more Star Wars. Plus, it is a fun movie. Going to the theater to see it was an incredible experience.
This is crazy. 7 years later he’s still making literally the *exact* same content and is still doing very well. Weird seeing him without a beard though
HAHAHAHA My daughter walked in while I was watching this video with head phones on and she asked me, "Is he deaf?" I said, "No darling, why do you say that?" Then she said, "Because he can't talk without moving his hands." I just started laughing and realized that you do kind of look like a puppeteer behind the scenes. No worries though, I still like your reviews, keep it up.
I think it was on a q and a or something but he brought this up and said he moves his hands so much because it would just be him standing still without moving his hands, and he showed an example of this and it was better when he moved his hands :)
Watching this list made me realize that we're living in an age of cinema that is _very_ reminiscent of cinema in the late 70's. We've got Star Wars, Mad Max, James Bond, a gritty exploitation western, a great sci-fi film from Ridley Scott, some GREAT science fiction and historical epics, superhero movies, great animated kids stuff... Seriously, it's like when we were kids and watched all those films on VHS and cable... Who agrees?
Griffin Chalem the force awakens is the only one I can enjoy now. To me, the hype around it back then is bittersweet. But ofc the rest of the trilogy brings it down
Might as well chime in too: 1. Creed 2. Steve Jobs 3. Sicario 4. Beasts of no Nation 5. Me Earl and the Dying Girl 6. Mad Max Fury Road 7. The Martian 8. Star Wars The Force Awakens 9. Inside Out 10. Spotlight
supermariofan03 I like star wars, it's a fun movie and all, I just didn't think it was one of the greats if that makes sense. Still a good movie for sure!
+Chris Kindler The haters hated it because it was too similar to the original trilogy, while also hating the prequels for being to different. ??? Whatever it was a life changing theater experience on that Thursday night.
***** Well in a sense it's going to be because after those horrible piece of sh*t prequels we need someone to put us back on the rails and re-introduce us to the concept that the franchise is going for, which is very much similar to the original trilogy (hopefully it won't become exactly the same though, but far more similar than the prequels, J.J agreed to stay away from them in concept of Episode VII). So if that's what people complain about, they can actually blame the prequels for that as well, lol.
1:20 #10- Bridge of spies 1:51 #9- Ex machina 2:31 #8- Straight outta compton 2:59 #7- Kingsman 3:34 #6- Creed 4:11 #5- The hateful eight 4:59 #4- Mad Max fury road 5:45 #3- Inside out 6:09 #2- The martian 6:47 #1- STAR WARS: The force awakens. ♥Thank you, Jeremy! as great as usual!
+James Haygreen I very much despise Tom Cruise but I loved Rouge Nation. I just wish the movie had the Villain in more scenes, but the rest was awesome.
My Favorite Movies of 2015 1. Star Wars The Force Awakens 2. Straight Outta Compton 3. Avengers Age of Ultron 4. Antman 5. Kingsman The Secret Service 6. Mission Impossible Rogue Nation 7. Inside Out 8. Mad Max Fury Road 9. Jurassic World (Nothing will be as epic as Jurassic Park but this is the best Jurassic Park sequel we've gotten)
Jeremy, why aren't 50 Shades of Grey and Fant4stic on your list??? WTF you have no taste in cinematic art *continues rant about how bad HIS taste is because it doesn't align with own opinion
My Top 20 Best Movies of 2015 from 20-1 would be-(Yeah that's how much I thought about the movies overall in 2015): 20. The Big Short-[4/5 (A-)] 19. Inside Out-[5/5 (A+)] (My pick for the best animated movie of 2015) 2. Star Wars: The Force Awakens-[5/5 (A+)] 1. Mad Max: Fury Road-[6/5 (A+ With a Maximum Fury Vengeance)] Honourable Mentions: The Good Dinosaur, Bridge of Spies, The Walk, Shaun the Sheep: The Movie, Concision, The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, and The Hunger Games Mocking Jay Part 2 *Note: It was a really tough decision for me Between Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Inside Out for my number 2 spot for my top 10 movies of 2015. However, Mad Max: Fury Road on the other hand was a clear winner and easy decision for me for my number 1 movie of 2015 because it blew me away on so many levels, it did what no other action movie did in recent memory which is recived a best picture nomination at this years Golden Globes and it's the most complete movie in general of 2015 IMO
+Peter Jason Quill It was probably one of the ones that he had to debate over for the 10th slot. He saw a ton of great movies this year. Couldn't all make it on the list.
Brad Wright It's a good film, not a great film. People are judging it based on nostalgia. It reminds them of their childhood. That doesn't mean it's great.
+angelthman sure it does. For a film like this to give us such fond memories of our childhood and to make us feel like kids again watching the magic on the big screen, the nostalgia is what makes us Star Wars fans and as a fan this was a great movie. Jurassic World and the prequels failed to do that, but The Force Awakens did not.
+angelthman I have several friends that genuinely like Star Wars but don't love it, and they thought The Force Awakens was an incredible experience. And several people that have never seen Star Wars also loved the movie, which I think only further proves why TFA is great for an entirely new generation
My Best Movies of 2015: 1. Inside Out 2. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3. Heneral Luna(Filipino Movie) 4. Ant-Man 5. Mad Max: Fury Road 6. Kingsman: The Secret Service 7. The Martian 8. Creed 9. The Little Prince 10. Ex-Machina
+Zippertrain85 I can see where you're going with it having similar elements as A New Hope, and I guess we have to wait for Ep. VIII to find out more about the characters.
+izzad ibrahim Same. I have no idea when I started watching Jeremy, but it was only like last month or so that I realized that I should subscribe. Weird.
These vids are like little movie time capsules to remind you of the gems that came before. Been watching since I was like 11 and now I’m 25 and married, thank you J :)
*Anthony Agu* Not if you actually knew about NWA prior to the movie and is actually passionate about the rap culture in general. There was alot of stuff that was innacurate due to being painted by Cube and Dre. Let's just say that if Dre really decided to stand up against Suge Knight he'd be in the same boat as every other rap legend, mourned.
+Anti Riku Spoken like a real muic listener, fuck suge knight. NWA was not a factual film in the slightest, in fact it felt like a giant marketing tool to lie to people
+Anti Riku I mean I knew a decent amount of information about the group by watching many documentaries about them and just things my older brother would tell me. In fact now that you bring this up he was saying the same thing while we were watching the movie.
*Anthony Agu* Here's basically the thing. The majority of people who watched this movie most likely didn't know about the backstory prior to watching so they didn't notice the inaccuracies and by being ignorant they could actually enjoy it. However the people who were already familiar with the story beforehand couldn't. It's sort of like life, in a way. Ignorance's bliss. That being said though, if you personally liked the movie then don't change it. It's all subjective at the end of the day.
My Favourites 1. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 2. Creed 4. Straight Outta Compton 3. Spotlight 5. Inside Out 6. Mad Max: Fury Road 7. The Martian 8. Avengers: Age of Ultron 9. Ex Machina 10. Steve Jobs Honourable Mentions: The Hateful Eight The Revenant Ant-Man Bridge of Spies Paddington
My Top 10 Movies of 2015 1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 2. Furious 7 3. Creed 4. The Martian 5. Spectre 6. Straight Outta Compton 7. Mad Max: Fury Road 8. Avengers: Age of Ultron 9. Entourage 10. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
I predict 1. Fifty Shades of Grey 2. Pan 3. Vacation 4. Hot Pursuit 5. Paranormal Activity The Ghost Dimension 6. The Boy Next Door 7. Sinister 2 8. Unfinished Business 9. The Loft 10. Transporter Refueled
1 Star Wars The Force Awakens 2 Mad Max Fury Road 3 The Revenant 4 The Hateful Eight 5 Creed 6 The Martian 7 Steve Jobs 8 Me and Earl and The Dying Girl 9 Kingsmen The Secret Service 10 Ex Machina
10. antman, 9. creed, 8. bridge of spies, 7. kingsman, 6. inside out, 5. revenant ,4.hateful eight , 3. star wars 7,2. the martian,1. mad mwx FR. mostly a personal list, reply if you'd make any changes
+Familyguyextreme I agree totally! Although, I would replace Antman with something else. I was surprised that Ant Man was as good as it was, as I think most people were. But I think having low expectations for Ant Man made it seem better than it actually was. Every movie on your list has instant rewatchability for me, aside from Ant Man. But all in all, I think 2015 was a great year for films!
Forget the list, the comments are the real show here. Can't wait to read people being salty on why [Insert movie name here] is not on the list and others complain why [Insert movie name here] is on the list since it's crap.
+Dave Ramos LOVED Kingsman. I think that was the biggest surprise of the year. One of the few movies I bought on blu ray the day it was released. Manners maketh man...
Mad Max was my favorite. I was rewatching a couple scenes right now and it's one of those movies that makes me feel emotional not only because of what's happening, but also because of the beauty of the construction of the movie itself. The tornado scene and the "brothers in arms" (that's the name of the soundtrack for the scene) scene bring tears to my eyes every time. I watched this movie (twice) about seven months ago and it still keeps coming back to my mind every now and then. So, it's my favorite for 2015.
My fav 2015 1 ) Mad Max Fury Road 2 ) Star Wars Force Awaken 3 ) Avengers Age of Ultron 4 ) Jurassic World 5 ) Hateful 8 6 ) Guardians of The Galaxy 7) Revenant 8 )Ant Man 9 ) Bridge of Spies 10 ) Man From U.N.C.L.E
1 The Hateful Eight 2 Creed 3 Mad Max 4 The Martian 5 Black Mass 6 Star Wars The Force Awakens 7 The Revenant 8 Straight Outta Compton 9 Ex Machina 10 Sicario
The Revenant was pretty good. Was really hyped because Tom Hardy's my favorite, and who doesn't like DiCaprio ? My only complaint was that there isn't much story to hang onto. Other than that, it's got the acting, it's beautiful, and everything you'd expect.
+Denzel Romero you think so? I can think of a few events that were pretty early but other than that I thought it took a while to get going. Especially since you know about the story before hand
+It's AhhhRealMonsters since he's my favorite actor right now, I wish he had more scenes in this movie, but he does have a decent amount. DiCaprio and his journey take up most of the screen time.
Haven't seen The Revenant, The Hateful Eight, 45 Years and Son of Saul 1. Sicario 2. Room 3. Star Wars the Force Awakens 4. Spotlight 5. Creed 6. The Martian 7. Me And Earl And The Dying Girl 8. The Gift 9. Inside Out 10. Beasts of No Nation Honorables: Steve Jobs, Ex Machina, Mission Impossible 5, Kingsman and Mad Max Fury Road
I still love Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Yes! The sequel trilogy was ultimately underwhelming but I still take The Force Awakens over any of the prequels.
@@liaminator4950 when it comes to Star Wars movies YES! Sure it’s coping and pasting from the original Star Wars movie but then again The Phantom Menace also borrowed from the original Star Wars movie with the same guy directing! The Force Awakens I feel brought new interesting characters, brought back old characters that we know and love and was able to still tell a good story. I know not everyone feels the same but that’s okay. Everyone has different opinions but The Force Awakens put me in a special place that I was long waiting for and I’ll never forget that. I get why people are disappointed in this movie now because of how the sequel trilogy turned out but I’ll always cherish The Force Awakens. It gave me A New Hope just for a little while.
+rainmaker6261 shut the hell up man he they are not excuses they are valid reasons why it was a fantastic film. He loved the film, most people loved the film, and as usual there are the small group of haters who have to bitch about other people's opinions because it makes them feel smart
My Top 10 1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 2. Sicario 3. Inside Out 4. Mad Max: Fury Road 5. Creed 6. Bridge of Spies 7. Spotlight 8. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 9. Straight Outta Compton 10. Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck Honorable Mentions: Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Martian, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Spectre, Black Mass Need To See: Anomalisa, Ex Machina, Steve Jobs, The Revenant, The Hateful Eight, Son of Saul, It Follows, The Lobster, Amy, When Marnie Was There, Beasts of No Nation, The Big Short, Dope, Carol, The Assassin
+George S. Patton I thought it was brilliant, with incredible performances, cinematography, and had such a gloomy tone that I felt the need to cleanse myself after. There is no hope at the end of the film.
+Paradox Acres Although some people really don't like It Follows so be warned. Then again I wouldn't argue against most of the netflix reviewers probably being idiots.
My list: 10. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 9. Southpaw 8. Beasts of No Nation 7. The Martian 6 Kingsmen the secret service 5. Spotlight 4. Inside out 3. Creed 2. Mad Max Fury Road 1. Star Wars the Force Awakens
+Ronin theDestroyer He didn't give that one a Dogshit review, he already gave 10 movies thou the Dogshit review and I hope Fifty Shades of Gray is Number 1 XD But Chris Stuckman is gonna put that on his worst movies list for sure.
Hmm, interesting not to see Age of Ultron and Rogue Nation on here seeing as how you gave them awesometacular and not some others on this list. But if anything, this list has taught me one thing, I got some movies to catch up on!
Are you by any chance going to review a movie you hate after the amazing Spider-Man 2 or is that the one you hate if I recall in your review of the first amazing Spider-Man?
Man, remember back when there used to be multiple good movies a year and you could go to the movies nearly every week and find somethingworth watching. Feels like a lifetime ago.
1. Star Wars The Force Awakens 2. Avengers Age of Ultron 3. Inside Out 4. Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 5. Kingsman The Secret Service 6. Ant-Man 7. Jurassic World 8. San Andreas 9. Spectre 10. Peanuts Movie this is a refresher list since my other one is lost in the comments
+RunRobotRun911 I know right :( I got so pissed off at Star Wars for making JW look bad. If only it came out last year then it be kicking Marvel and DC's ass for showing off.
+Peter Griffin Same here XD I criticized that movie all year long for getting so much hyped but after seeing the movie for myself and hearing how so many people are complaining about it I actually like the movie now. I did wish it came out next year so it could top off Civil War and Dawn of Justice.
1. Star Wars 2. Mad Max 3. The Hateful Eight 4. Creed 5. The Revenant 6. The Martian 7. Straight Outta Compton 8. The Peanuts Movie 9. Mission Impossible 10. Age of Ultron and there were some movies that I didn't see that probably would make my list if I did
1. Sicario 2. Star Wars the Force Awakens (favorite) 3. Inside Out 4. Room 5. Son of Saul 6. The Revenant 7. Spotlight 8. Creed 9. Me And Earl And The Dying 10. Ex Machina
My List 10: The Hateful Eight 9: Spotlight 8: Ant-Man 7: Sicario 6: Ex-Machina 5: The Revenant 4: The Martian 3: Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation 2: Mad Max: Fury Road 1: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
misremembered72 Dope should have had a tupac song My personal top 10 are 1. Age of ultron 2. Straight outta compton 3. Amy 4. Stanford prison experiment 5. Black mass 6. It follows 7. Furious 7 8. True story 9. Sicario 10. Ex machina
misremembered72 Awesome list Tbh i think amy is the best bio film It doesn't omit anything and it it's not biased to make us feel one way or the other My honorable mentions are Insidious 3, unfriended, me earl and the dying girl and the wedding ringer
I'm still in shock that my experience of The Force Awakens was so different from so many people. Really was the worst painful theater experience I can remember :(
My Top 10: 10. Steve Jobs 9. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 8. Straight Outta Compton 7. Kingsman: The Secret Service 6. Spotlight 5. When Marnie Was There 4. The Revenant 3. The Martian 2. Mad Max Fury Road 1. Inside Out
10. The Revenant - Awesome filmmaking, and DiCaprio gives another kick ass performance. 9. Avengers: Age of Ultron - Gave me everything I loved about the first one with more action, more character, and higher stakes. 8. Ex Machina - Great plot, dialogue, structure, pacing, and themes. Top it off with great performances, and we have a modern sci-fi classic. 7. Straight Outa Compton - Great acting from the 3 mains, story was interesting, and had a great vibe throughout. 6. Mad Max: Fury Road - Crazy high octane adrenaline fueled rush. Knarly action scenes with sweet practical effects, need I say more? 5. The Hateful Eight - Tarantino never makes a bad movie! As always, fun premise with interesting characters who have great dialogue, and what stands out is how he presented this film with an old school western feel. 4. Creed - Best Rocky sequel! From directing, to writing, to acting, to music, to cinematography, to editing, all top notch. 3. The Martian - A great comeback for Ridley Scott with an inspiring story, likable characters, and surprisingly witty humor 2. Star Wars: The Force Awakens - It did everything I wanted I was hoping it would do. Story was well put together, loved all the characters (old & new), it had the feel of the original trilogy, and looked amazing with real practical effects, now I'm pumped for the next installments 1. Inside Out - Loved the story, the characters, and the message. Animation was bright and colorful, gave me the feels when it needed to, the execution was genius, enjoyable for kids but more enjoyable for adults. It's my new favorite Pixar film!
Anyone wanna predict what his Worst list will be Mine is 1) 50 Shades of Grey 2) Fant4stic 3) Hot Pursuit 4) Pan 5) Paranormal Activity: Ghost Dimension 6) Sinister 2 7) Unfinished Business 8) Vacation 9) The Loft 10) The Boy Next Door
1. Inside Out 2. Mad-Max Fury Road 3. Ex Machina 4. Steve Jobs 5. Star Wars Episode VII-The Force Awakens 6. The Hateful Eight 7. it Follows 8. Room 9. Kingsman 10. Sicario - The Big Short, MI-5, The Martin, Creed, Me, Earl and the Dying Girl, While we're Young, Paper Towns and Everest
My Top 10: (Have not seen star wars yet) 10. Sicario 9.Creed 8.Jurrasic World 7.Age of Ultron 6.Kingsman 5.Furious 7 4.Hateful Eight 3.Rogue Nation 2.Straight Outta Compton 1.The Martian
+The Crimson Scarf to be honest, I'm pretty sure everyone already knows. Any fan of Star Wars knew he was going to die at some point or he likely would not have agreed to come back.
Predictions for this year 10. Independence Day: Resurgence 9. Doctor Strange 8. The Jungle Book 7. Moana 6. X Men: Apocalypse 5. Finding Dory 4. Deadpool 3. Zootopia 2. Star Wars: Rogue One 1. Captain America: Civil War (Suicide Squad looks cool, but I'm skeptical about it)
Great list.Great job.Keep it up.This is my list: 1. Creed 2. Mission Impossible : Rogue Nation 3. Bridge of Spies 4. Spotlight 5. The Martian 6. The Big Short 7. Spectre 8. Star Wars : The Force Awakens 9. Avengers: Age of Ultron 10. Mad Max : Fury Road
+Mitchell T. Rogue Nation and Age of Ultron were both awesometaculars and didn't make the list, as well as hard Buy on Blu Rays like Ant-Man and Entourage. That's when you know it's been a great movie year.
My top 10 of 2015 out of 120 features I've seen (official UK release dates & not including short films) 10 - Southpaw 9 - Steve Jobs 8 - Rosewater 7 - Sicario 6 - Danny Collins 5 - Shaun the Sheep 4 - The Martian 3 - Ex Machina 2 - Bridge of Spies 1 - Whiplash (YESSS I KNOWWW THAT THIS IS A 2014 FILM IN AMERICA BUT AS I SAID ABOVE I AM GOING BY *UK* RELEASE DATES AND IT CAME OUT HERE IN JANUARY THIS YEAR. Jeeeeeebus.) Full list on Letterboxd.com!! And yes, I've seen all the big blockbusters. None of them are in my top 10 (or 15; first one is Mad Max Fury Road at #17).
2015 was actually a pretty good year for movies. Making a top 10 is a little difficult. 10) The Gift (a fine psychological thriller) 9) The Revenant 8) Room 7) The Hateful Eight 6) The Martian 5) Steve Jobs 4) Mad Max: Fury Road 3) Inside Out 2) Sicario 1) Spotlight Hon. Mention : Kingsman, Spy and Mockingjay part 2

+Jonathan Edwards 1. Steve Jobs 2. Creed 3. Sicario 4. Mad Max 5. Love and Mercy 6. The Hateful Eight 7. Spotlight 8. Cartel Land 9. Stars Wars.. 10.Trumbo
starwars the force awakens was the only movie for a long time that made me feel happy from the nostolgia and the action and everything. one of the best in the series and a great movie by itself.
BEST FILMS OF 2015: 1. The Ridiculous 6 2. The Human Centipede 3 3. Fantastic 4 4. The Boy Next Door 5. Hot Pursuit 6. Fifty Shades of Grey 7. Mortdecai 8. Paul Blart 2 9. Jem and the Holograms 10. Aloha that is my TOP 10, amazing films!!!!!!!
+Jun Kazama It was so weird seeing Johnny Depp in Mortdecai, one of the worst comedies of this decade so far, and then seeing him kick ass in Black Mass a few months later. He's really good in serious roles like Black Mass and Public Enemies. It's a shame he plays so many strange characters. Waste of his talent.
MyUnitProcess YES!! PAN FOR BEST PICTURE!! Oscars Let our voice be heard! Pan and Ridiculous 6 for BEST PICTURE! And Dieter Laser (from HC3) for best actor! Sofia Vergara for best actress!
My List #10 The Peanuts Movie #9 Black Mass #8 Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens #7 Inside Out #6 Jurrasic World #5 Avengers: Age of Ultron #4 Ant-Man #3 The Big Short #2 Goosebumps #1 Creed
This is My Top 10 (which includes films that I still have yet to see, but know that I will enjoy due to what I have seen with trailers and heard/read from reviews). 10. It Follows (One I have yet to see) 9. Furious 7 8. Spectre 7. Jurassic World 6. The Martian (One I have yet to see) 5. Mad Max - Fury Road (One I have yet to see) 4. Avengers - Age of Ultron 3. Star Wars - The Force Awakens 2. Ant-Man 1. Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation
+ApolloXL5 The fact that you have Avengers 2 and Furious 7 on here and the fact that you haven't even seen three of the movies on your list automatically discredits you. But hey, to each his own.
And here is my top 10 anticipated films of 2016. 10. BFG 9. Suicide Squad 8. Inferno 7. Doctor Strange 6. X-Men - Apocalypse 5. Deadpool 4. Star Trek Beyond 3. The Fifth Bourne film (currently untitled) 2. Captain America - Civil War 1. Batman v Superman - Dawn of Justice
I LOVED The Force Awakens. It was so much fun, I really like J.J. Abrams as a director, the characters were compelling and were also really fun, the movie looks amazing, the score is beautiful and indisputably Star Wars, The action was fun, the emotional moments hit hard, the funny moments made me laugh out loud, the story (while a little too familiar) was really interesting, and it was definitely one of my favorite movies of this year. I recognize it has flaws, and rather big ones at that but I am totally on board with Jeremy Jahns with this one! And is anyone else SUPER excited about Star Wars VIII? I don't know if I can wait 2 years!
+Taya Van So excited for episode 8. I have but one request, MORE OSCAR ISSAC! He was the only actor I knew out of the new cast going in, and I hoped he would be my favorite. Sure of enough, he was! Just, more screentime, that is all.
+Tyler R You should check out "Attack the Block" with John Boyega. It's a low budget sci-fi film but it's surprisingly good and he plays a much different character than Finn. I saw that movie right before they announced the cast for Ep. VII and I was thoroughly impressed that he went from that to Star Wars with nothing in between.
SandBox H3ro I was planning on watching that. It's the only other film he was in right? Well, he is talented, I really did like his character. Same with Daisy Ridley, this is a star making role if I ever saw one, she was great. So when I say Oscar Issac was my favorite, that is not dissing Finn, Rey, BB8, and Kylo Ren. They were all just fantastic.
Tyler R As far as I know that was his only full length feature film he was in prior to TFA. But yes the amount of great acting in the film was mind blowing, every character was great and had real purpose(aside from Phasma) and Oscar definitely made for one hell of a Rebel Pilot
My favorite 1 goosebumps 2 creed 3 Avengers age of ultron 4 inside out 5 spongebob out of water 6 Mission impossible rough nation 7 Star Wars the force awakens 8 mad max fury road 9 ant man 10 Jurassic world
My top 5 movies that I enjoyed the most: 1. Star Wars 2. BEASTS OF NO NATION (come on guys did yall watch that shit??) 3. Mad Max 4. Ant Man 5. Kingsman
Great list but I was kinda disappointed that It Follows wasn't on there. 2015 wasn't a great year for horror movies so It Follows was a nice break. Even though it had that strange indie, dear I say pretentious artistic feel, it had a really interesting premise where nothing was over-explained and the mystery of the "ghost" remained throughout the movie. Not to mention a great soundtrack.
+Cifer Null That movie was horshit and I dont want to hear that bullshit about well, you think horror movie are supposed to be gory or you didn't understand it. I understood it plenty and it was nothing but a boring, 80's porno that they tried to pass off as a horror movie. This movie is equivalent to "The Gallows". The "Town that Dreaded Sundown" was better than this movie and that's saying alot.
i also thought it follows was a good horror. this year was shit for horror moties man.. it's always a mission for me to find a good horror to watch. you got any good horror movies i can watch bro? i have seen most, but it's worth a try lol
10.The Martian 9.Creed 8.Ant-Man 7.The Revenant 6.Ted 2 5.Star Wars The Force Awakens 4.Jurassic World 3.Mad Max Fury Road 2.Avengers Age of Ultron 1.Focus
I'm surprised you didn't put 50 Shades of Grey on that list, because that movie also made a lot of money. Or are you going by movies that have famous people in them? But seriously your list looks very generic or typical, I can tell you're not openminded when it comes to movies. Dope is a better movie then Jurassic World.
3:33 I totally thought he was going to say Star Wars lol
Same😂😂
I thought the same thing
Haha same
Sameeee omf
same here
Jesus, I remember when TFA was universally loved. Before the dark times....
Before the empire...
@I'mTheReverse - re: "Jesus, I remember ...." Do you often write to Jesus on TH-cam?? Ever get a response?? If not, anyone else you care to write to?
@@warriormanmaxx8991 Who are you?
I always hated it
@@ryandavies6243 I always had a lot issues with it as well but when it came out, most people were just hyped for some more Star Wars. Plus, it is a fun movie. Going to the theater to see it was an incredible experience.
This is crazy. 7 years later he’s still making literally the *exact* same content and is still doing very well. Weird seeing him without a beard though
HAHAHAHA My daughter walked in while I was watching this video with head phones on and she asked me, "Is he deaf?"
I said, "No darling, why do you say that?"
Then she said, "Because he can't talk without moving his hands."
I just started laughing and realized that you do kind of look like a puppeteer behind the scenes.
No worries though, I still like your reviews, keep it up.
Lol😂
Haha you have just ruined all his videos I haven't seen.
Just reading this comment at the end of the video, and then it was those animated thumbnails with the outtro music...
I think it was on a q and a or something but he brought this up and said he moves his hands so much because it would just be him standing still without moving his hands, and he showed an example of this and it was better when he moved his hands :)
lol

gr8 b8 m8 i r8 8/8 no h8
+UberInfiniteGaming Shit man, with a list like that i think you left out Joe Dirt 2.
+UberInfiniteGaming I think you ruined the other list.
Where's Fan4stic? That movie was so good bro, its like 96% on rotten tomatoes.
Are u trying to be funny?
+Gresh854 sarcasm flies over your head doesn't it
+Anthony Batista nothing goes over my head my reflexes are too quick
+Drake7000 ... Yeah that's what the reference was. Aren't you perceptive?
+Drake7000 Hahahahaha 😂😂😆
Watching this list made me realize that we're living in an age of cinema that is _very_ reminiscent of cinema in the late 70's. We've got Star Wars, Mad Max, James Bond, a gritty exploitation western, a great sci-fi film from Ridley Scott, some GREAT science fiction and historical epics, superhero movies, great animated kids stuff...
Seriously, it's like when we were kids and watched all those films on VHS and cable... Who agrees?
You're so right, and it's because of this because that when people say cinema is dead, I laugh. This is the best time to be a movie fan.
I do but I want some money too
+MastermindAXL Or a Star Wars fan! ;)
Dude! You're totally right!
+L.D. Johnson there has been an awakening
flash forward a few years later, and his number one becomes more depressing to think a about in hindsight.
The Force Awakens was awesome, and then they just shit on it and threw away the setup.
@@GC-yw1mn This.
Griffin Chalem you can thank Rian Johnson for that
Griffin Chalem it really wasn’t good at all tbh. Shameless cash grab full of fan service.
Griffin Chalem the force awakens is the only one I can enjoy now. To me, the hype around it back then is bittersweet. But ofc the rest of the trilogy brings it down
Might as well chime in too:
1. Creed
2. Steve Jobs
3. Sicario
4. Beasts of no Nation
5. Me Earl and the Dying Girl
6. Mad Max Fury Road
7. The Martian
8. Star Wars The Force Awakens
9. Inside Out
10. Spotlight
Me and earl was SUCH a good movie!
supermariofan03 I like star wars, it's a fun movie and all, I just didn't think it was one of the greats if that makes sense. Still a good movie for sure!
+MilesProwerFan4ever Creed and Steve Jobs are probably my top 2 as well.
+MilesProwerFan4ever Me and Earl and the Dying Girl needs more publicity. Too fucking good.
+MilesProwerFan4ever Capitalizes everything else. Leaves "star wars" in lower case.
10. Kingsman
9. Kingsman

7. Kingsman
6. Kingsman
5.Kingsman

3. Kingsman
2. Kingsman
1. Kingsman
I don't know man, I think Kingsman deserved at least a spot on the top 10
Nah
+Riley Johnston I disliked Kingsman. :3
+Mr Sir Get out!
Emil Chew .....no...
The Force Awakens was fucking great... an incredibly fun experience.
Agreed!
+Chris Kindler The haters hated it because it was too similar to the original trilogy, while also hating the prequels for being to different. ??? Whatever it was a life changing theater experience on that Thursday night.
+The Lenny Leggo Show to their credit. At times it really felt like a fucking rip off from New Hope. But i freaking love A New Hope so whatever^^
The Lenny Leggo Show i always defend J.J in Battles wie Star Trek Nerds that he is on of the best Blockbuster filmmakers today

*Note: It was a really tough decision for me Between Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Inside Out for my number 2 spot for my top 10 movies of 2015.
Meh. Mad Max was just ok.
Black mass was good but was boooooooeing and slooooooooooooooow
I agree 100%
+rapidfirematt you meant to say "boring", when you actually said "Boeing". I see you are a fan of Airbus.

3: Mad Max: Fury Road
2: Inside Out
1: Kingsman: The Secret Service
Yeah!!! Kingsman: The Secret Service
Guess he changed his mind about age of ultron
haha yeah probably
+Peter Jason Quill It was probably one of the ones that he had to debate over for the 10th slot. He saw a ton of great movies this year. Couldn't all make it on the list.
Yup he probably only said awesometacular for the fanboys
It did come out pretty early in the year. Let's just consider it number 11.
Must be #11 or a bit lower then. There were lots of great movies. Bridge of Spies is a marvelous movie and it was only at #10 for example
My top 5
1. Creed
2. Star Wars
3.The Martian
4. Mission Impossible
5. Mad Max
+digoto1 holy shit exact same... hard deciding between creed and star wars but creed ultimately was #1... unlike actual creed in the movie ;)
+digoto1 Not to nitpick, but shouldn't you post #1 at the bottom rather than the top? People start up and then read down.
+digoto1 solid list. I'd probably put Ex Machina or Room where MI:5 is since I've never seen a single MI movie lol.
+digoto1 tbh i honestly thought Creed was gonna be a terrible movie, but man was I wrong
I was hoping Star Wars wasn't number 1, like every other TH-cam critic.
It's a great film and deserves it
Brad Wright
It's a good film, not a great film.
Brad Wright
What if you're not a Star Wars nut? A film should be great to everyone, not just big fans of the franchise.
+angelthman I have several friends that genuinely like Star Wars but don't love it, and they thought The Force Awakens was an incredible experience. And several people that have never seen Star Wars also loved the movie, which I think only further proves why TFA is great for an entirely new generation
At #6 I was like "don't you dare say Force Awakens."

Star Wars is second to none. ;)
+Zippertrain85 tell us why you think that please (I'm trying to be as polite as possible).
+Zippertrain85 I can see where you're going with it having similar elements as A New Hope, and I guess we have to wait for Ep. VIII to find out more about the characters.
+Zippertrain85 then go to trade federation bullsh*t, negotiations, Jar Jar, CGI characters that looks terrible.

It was a really good movie

2014
It came out in 2014. But Jeremy saw it in 2015. In the review he said that it would have been in his top 2014, but he can't go and change it.

I liked creed but my mind changed once I saw force awakens
+Liam Carmody Fuck off Star Wars Fanboy
+Liam Carmody lol same here.
We are all entitled in our own opinion.
The Revenant was pretty good. Was really hyped because Tom Hardy's my favorite, and who doesn't like DiCaprio ? My only complaint was that there isn't much story to hang onto. Other than that, it's got the acting, it's beautiful, and everything you'd expect.
I think the movie played its best cards too early.
+Denzel Romero you think so? I can think of a few events that were pretty early but other than that I thought it took a while to get going. Especially since you know about the story before hand
+ChrisTheCreed Oscar contender? Oscar worthy?
is there alot of Tom Hardy in The Revenant? i am only asking because i am curious 😅
+It's AhhhRealMonsters since he's my favorite actor right now, I wish he had more scenes in this movie, but he does have a decent amount. DiCaprio and his journey take up most of the screen time.

I still love Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Yes! The sequel trilogy was ultimately underwhelming but I still take The Force Awakens over any of the prequels.
No
Yes!
Super same. Best movie from the disney era
Agreed
This is the second critic I've seen sounding like he has to make excuses for putting Star Wars at the top of the list.
+cormyat07 That's because he knows it doesn't deserve to be there.
It doesn't deserve there because it was not a good movie. It was just a fun popcorn film, that's it.
+rainmaker6261 no it doesnt
+Riley Freeman Well, no it is a good movie. Better than Mad Max or Inside Out, no. 95% Rotten Tomatoes and 81% Metacritic.
+rainmaker6261 shut the hell up man he they are not excuses they are valid reasons why it was a fantastic film. He loved the film, most people loved the film, and as usual there are the small group of haters who have to bitch about other people's opinions because it makes them feel smart

We all know that Fan4stic will be on that list
+Ronin theDestroyer He didn't give that one a Dogshit review, he already gave 10 movies thou the Dogshit review and I hope Fifty Shades of Gray is Number 1 XD But Chris Stuckman is gonna put that on his worst movies list for sure.
+Ronin theDestroyer Yeah probably will be number 1.
+Josh D . Don't forget the Paranormal Activity: Ghost Dimension and Pan.
I predict it'll be Fifty Shades of Grey at #1.
Age of Ultron doesn’t deserve to be on any list. I completely agree with Jeremys list.
Man, remember back when there used to be multiple good movies a year and you could go to the movies nearly every week and find somethingworth watching. Feels like a lifetime ago.
Couple of decades ago
Facts. Used to go to the movies almost once a week now it’s rare to even go once a month.
1. Star Wars The Force Awakens
2. Avengers Age of Ultron
3. Inside Out
4. Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2
5. Kingsman The Secret Service
6. Ant-Man
7. Jurassic World
8. San Andreas
9. Spectre
10. Peanuts Movie
this is a refresher list since my other one is lost in the comments
This is the worst list ever
FYI it's my personal opinion okay?
+Kyle Christine garbage list boi
Poor Jurassic World....
+RunRobotRun911 I forgot that movie even existed :(
That's my #1 movie of this year, I enjoyed the absolute shit out of it and have seen it so many times .
The same director is doing Star Wars Ep.9...
1. Star Wars

4. Creed
5. The Revenant
6. The Martian

7: Sicario
6: Ex-Machina
5: The Revenant
4: The Martian
3: Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
2: Mad Max: Fury Road
1: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Would be interesting to have a list of the tv series as well. Some pretty good ones this year.
+Arturo Gutierrez half of them would probably be Netflix originals. Netflix really went big this year.
OnlyRoke Syfy also had some good ones. And I would think that finales or good seasons of preexisting series would apply as well?
+Arturo Gutierrez I can't actually name 10 "good" tv shows I saw this year
+Arturo Gutierrez New shows or overall?
+Arturo Gutierrez Mr Robot, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty...
Dope is the most underrated movie of 2015
facts
+mike freeman loved it up until the bit coin parts. Then it totally lost me.

misremembered72
Awesome list
Tbh i think amy is the best bio film
It doesn't omit anything and it it's not biased to make us feel one way or the other
My honorable mentions are
Insidious 3, unfriended, me earl and the dying girl and the wedding ringer
Can't believe Avengers 2 wasn't on the list... :(
MEDIOCRE!
It wasn't as good as the first Avenger. Winter Soldier and Antman were better than Age of Ultron.
TraumaCenter13 I agree that the Winter Soldier and the first Avengers were better but I preferred Age of Ultron of Antman
coz it was bad
Wasn't really that good tbh... I mean it was fun, but not top 10 worthy.
Ultron was a shitty villain tbh..
I'm still in shock that my experience of The Force Awakens was so different from so many people. Really was the worst painful theater experience I can remember :(
Agreed
Fan4stic should be on this list! Ooops...wrong list
+I am super serious are you super serios ?
+Robert Jones there is something wrong with you
+Robert Jones did you seriously just compare AoU and Ant Man with that god awful Fant4stic
What's AoU? Raheel Shahid I haven't watched the remake of Fant4stic yet but the first one was pretty good. I will watch all three and compare
*****
Haha, how is that?
My Top 10:
10. Steve Jobs
9. Star Wars: The Force Awakens
8. Straight Outta Compton
7. Kingsman: The Secret Service
6. Spotlight
5. When Marnie Was There
4. The Revenant
3. The Martian
2. Mad Max Fury Road
1. Inside Out
No Age of Ultron? Not surprising as it is a pretty standard Marvel movie looking back on it - nothing special really.
Ant-Man was about as good
He gave it an Awesometaculer
+Crichjo32 If any Marvel movie, Ant-Man should have been on the list. Probably my second favorite Marvel movie after Guardians.
+Crichjo32 What's weird is that he gave that movie the Awesometacular Review yet its not even on here.
+David Langheier he gives a lot of movies awesometacular but that doesn't mean top 10
3. The Martian - A great comeback for Ridley Scott with an inspiring story, likable characters, and surprisingly witty humor
2. Star Wars: The Force Awakens - It did everything I wanted I was hoping it would do. Story was well put together, loved all the characters (old & new), it had the feel of the original trilogy, and looked amazing with real practical effects, now I'm pumped for the next installments
1. Inside Out - Loved the story, the characters, and the message. Animation was bright and colorful, gave me the feels when it needed to, the execution was genius, enjoyable for kids but more enjoyable for adults. It's my new favorite Pixar film!
I thought Star Wars was a bit disappointing
+Andrew Mcphail as did I, it was more of an attempt at making a new, new hope
To each his own. I think it completely lived up to what it promised and loved every second of the magic
+Andrew Mcphail Yep, it was disappointing, they played it WAY too safe if you ask me.
+Captain Rodgers so killing Han Solo is safe? lol
+Andrew Mcphail nostalgia is impossible to beat, that being said, The force awakens is better than a new hope
If Star Wars isn't on here I will be offended...
Well, ummm... I guess u r happy now???
Prepare to not be offended
+Magma Ascending A statement rarely said on the internet.
Lol its #1 b0ss
+Alan Cotter Star Wars was bad because of how safe they played it.

See above, i believe he/she would have defecated all over themselves.
+Kindiko Kreis I haven't seen Star Wars Episode 7 but I find it VERY hard to imagine it's better than The Martian, Mad Max Fury Road and The Revenant.
+LoN3wOlF5tudi0s Go watch it and then give us your thoughts ;)
No Rogue Nation?
Wow
Yah surprised it wasn't on it, it was like my 4th favorite movie of 2015
+Mitchell T. i'm surprised too. and also, no ant-man. in fact no marvels at all
+Mitchell T. Rogue Nation and Age of Ultron were both awesometaculars and didn't make the list, as well as hard Buy on Blu Rays like Ant-Man and Entourage. That's when you know it's been a great movie year.
We all want to have fun here, so don't be a cock- Jeremy Jahns
Creed was overrated in my opinion.

8. Paul Blart 2
9. Jem and the Holograms
10. Aloha

You forgot Pan! that movie was good too!
Michael Stein
Haven't seen Black Mass yet! But I will haha
MyUnitProcess
YES!! PAN FOR BEST PICTURE!! Oscars Let our voice be heard! Pan and Ridiculous 6 for BEST PICTURE! And Dieter Laser (from HC3) for best actor! Sofia Vergara for best actress!

This is My Top 10 (which includes films that I still have yet to see, but know that I will enjoy due to what I have seen with trailers and heard/read from reviews).
10. It Follows (One I have yet to see)
9. Furious 7
8. Spectre
7. Jurassic World
6. The Martian (One I have yet to see)
5. Mad Max - Fury Road (One I have yet to see)
4. Avengers - Age of Ultron
3. Star Wars - The Force Awakens
2. Ant-Man
1. Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation
+ApolloXL5 Don't hype It Follows too much. I thought I'd love it but, ended up disliking it
+ApolloXL5 Now placing movies you haven't seen on a Top 10 list is pretty idiotic.
+ApolloXL5 You didn't see like HALF of the movies on your list
+ApolloXL5 The fact that you have Avengers 2 and Furious 7 on here and the fact that you haven't even seen three of the movies on your list automatically discredits you. But hey, to each his own.
And here is my top 10 anticipated films of 2016.
10. BFG
9. Suicide Squad
8. Inferno
7. Doctor Strange
6. X-Men - Apocalypse
5. Deadpool
4. Star Trek Beyond
3. The Fifth Bourne film (currently untitled)
2. Captain America - Civil War
More like a year and half
+Taya Van
So excited for episode 8.
SandBox H3ro
I was planning on watching that.
Guys, you know what this means. The WORST 10 is coming, and it's gonna be gooooooooooood
🙏🙏🙏
My favorite
1 goosebumps
2 creed
3 Avengers age of ultron
4 inside out
5 spongebob out of water
6 Mission impossible rough nation
7 Star Wars the force awakens
8 mad max fury road
9 ant man
10 Jurassic world
My top 5 movies that I enjoyed the most:
1. Star Wars
2. BEASTS OF NO NATION (come on guys did yall watch that shit??)
3. Mad Max
4. Ant Man
5. Kingsman
shit = 🙌🙌🙌🙌👍
and I forgot The Martian. It's probably tied for number 3.
jk again 😂😂 Ex Machina is somewhere in there. Fuck, this was a pretty good year for movies.
+Nick Bomar Oh yeah, I forgot to watch beasts of no nation. It wasn't advertised very well and I rarely go on netflix anymore.
+Nick Bomar I lol'ed at your comments! But you are right. There were a lot of good movies this year.
+Supre3m3 Kylo Ren i think all the movies being listed are good lol..
I thought that was from 2014
i also thought it follows was a good horror.
this year was shit for horror moties man..
it's always a mission for me to find a good horror to watch.
you got any good horror movies i can watch bro?
i have seen most, but it's worth a try lol
Confuzzled Tomato Oh snap I think you're right.
Time to commit sudoku for my disgrace.
10.The Martian
9.Creed
8.Ant-Man
7.The Revenant
6.Ted 2
5.Star Wars The Force Awakens
4.Jurassic World
3.Mad Max Fury Road
2.Avengers Age of Ultron
1.Focus
I'm surprised you didn't put 50 Shades of Grey on that list, because that movie also made a lot of money. Or are you going by movies that have famous people in them? But seriously your list looks very generic or typical, I can tell you're not openminded when it comes to movies. Dope is a better movie then Jurassic World.
1.FURIOUS 7
2.AVENGERS 2
3.SPECTRE
4.MAD MAX 4
5. KINGSMAN
6.RUN ALL NIGHT
7.TERMINATOR 5
8. MI5

10. JURRASIC WORLD
