Immediately I had to go get my 2 pieces of Belleek I own. Shined the flashlight inside both. Handled each with a new love, knowing the intricacy each has. My grandparents came over on the boat.

Belleek has a special place in my heart when it comes to their teaware. When I was young I thought it was "bleak" and although I know as an adult that Belleek is a brand, I still find that "bleak" rings true to the aesthetic of this beautiful pottery. Theres a coldness about the ivory tone, but also a fragility and warmth about the rich details.
