hi thanks sir for helping!.but sir, I have successfully converted sketchup to revit, but when I want to render in enscape, the item from the sketchup becomes gray color without material. Is there a solution or not for my problem?

THANK YOU !!!!
Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
Glad it was helpful.
Thanks you so much❤
You're welcome 😊
Can we change the dimensions of this newly created family in revit?
Of course, you can change the dimensions! You can edit the family component and edit its parameters. Just make sure you don't accidentally shrink your family down to the size of a Lego brick. We don't want a tiny house on our hands!
Thank you so much ❤
You're welcome 😊
But some materials are missing. What should i do?
I've followed the tutorial, But unfortunately in my PC it's stuck and not responding after choosing the sketchup v8 file in revit 2022. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks a lot 🙏🏼
Hey i have a question, after I imported my 3d model how can I put a un in my sketchup model, using revit I mean i exported from sketchup to revit and i want to have a section but when I do it It appears like it’s a facade or fachada
Did you figure it out ?
I can’t find the English-I file where did you get it?
It's a part of family components. Usually when we install revit, all these component files get downloaded during the installation process as long as you're connected with internet.
j have a question after importing the model is it possible to get all the 2D drawing i mean plans sections elevations?
If you had any dwgs imported into SketchUp already and just have opened it in Revit. It will show possibly as model lines or detail lines.
Thank you
Glad it was helpful.
I have revit 2023 and it doesnt let me import skp files. Anyone know how to get around this?

For those with the same problem, I tried to open for an entire hour, then I realized it simply was too far from the area, so double click the mouse and see if it find the project.
My model is getting distorted when I import. Any solutions?
This usually happens because of modeling errors. Its possible that the model you're trying to import does not have closed geometry, or there might be gaps where faces intersect. Keeping the geometry simple with minimum number of faces and polygons will definitely work while importing skp models into revit or rhino.
Hi there, manage to import from skp to revit 2019 however unable to view in 3d view or plan view. it can be seen as hidden element but unable to unhide it. can advice
Sometimes in the plan view its above the reference level.
You'll be able to see that when you go to any of the elevations. I just moved the object/model down to the reference level whilst in the elevation view. This worked for me at least, I was able to see the plan in the reference level.
I'm not sure about the 3d view though.
@@abhijitprasanth1153 i'm having the same problem that you had, its showing in all views and elevations but except the reference level. so i can't see the plan. i tried moving it but still didn't work. any suggestions?
can assign material?
Thanx a lot
But
Its not showing colours and textures ???
[To change colors SketchUp model in Revit]
In SketchUp :
Don't apply materials by paint tool.
Materials should be applied as layers of the model. You can use "Color by layer" to work easier.
Disable "Color by layer" mode.
Save in filetype version under SketchUp 8.
In Revit:
Create a new family.
Import the SketchUp model by "Import CAD"
Load into project.
In project, VV → object styles → Imported category → apply Revit materials at each layer created in SketchUp.
@@inaaguiar thanx a lot
@@inaaguiar What if you have already used the paint tool to apply materials?
@@dallascalhoun3052 I think you would need to change them to color by layer. I don't know any easier solution, sorry.
@@inaaguiar no worries, thank you!
