Getting started on the C5 Corvette FRC project. I always start the same way on these cars and it begins with disassembly and a lot of cleaning.

Pretty easy car to disassembly. What makes them fun is you can make a lot of progress quickly.

Hell yeah man, that’s gonna be a fun project! Hope you have better luck with the carbon creations bumper than I did with their hood.

It’s gonna need a lot of body work, not gonna lie their mold is shit!!

@@JWsGarage same with the hood and it weighed way more than the stock hood. Wound up getting turned into a background for a dart board!

man, she is/was pretty dirty, i know you will get her shining better than new. shop truck has to have a big block right?

I was thinking a big block and a tremec 5 speed gear box and possibly a 3 link out back. 525-550hp would be perfect for the street.

@@colemcmeans7809 holly sniper efi under the OEM OBS hood with a tracspec heat extractor right smack in the center would look pretty tough. Going blue up top and down bottom, white in the center and going to use the silver and mustard yellow trim to separate the colors like an old square body.
