We sang this every Sunday as the preacher and choir walked to the pulpit and choir box. As a little girl, I lit the candles. This was an AME church on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This is such an uplifting song with a great message. Fitting for any denomination!!

I was raised as a Methodist minister‘s daughter, and we didn’t sing Lift Him Up this fast either, but it’s still good to hear it again… C.O.G.I.C. be jammin’!

I love the COGIC but had i not seen the name West Angeles in the glass lectern i would have thought that this was a Baptist church. To God be all praise and glory. 'Lift the Saviour up. Still He speaks from Eternity, and I if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me!" Lovely hymn and thank you for sharing this.
