I spent my childhood in the pews of false doctrine and GOD still plucked me out in the middle of a JW Kingdom Hall at 9 years old (and like a lifeline ) GOD hurled the words of Acts 2:38 to me right in the middle of that service. You can go back and you’ll be renewed because the CROSS SPEAKS LIFE, restoration and forgiveness over those who seek him.
Lol I'm Baptist... I'm 21... And we has ALWAYS prayed at the altar... Twice actually. Once near the beginning and the other after the preaching which we call "opening the doors of the church" or the invitation... Etc. more of a biblical thing, not specific to denomination. I don't think it matters...
Really, it's a biblical thing. "And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward the heavens." 1 Kings 8:22... Intercessory Prayer is something people have been doing since biblical days.
This is 2020 and this song is still relevant and is blessing my heart after the Covid 19. Thank you Pastor Smith.... all the way from Turks and Caicos Islands

@371530000 I grew up Baptist and then converted to COGIC and as long as I can remember, praying at the altar has been done. Had no idea it was a "Methodist" thing. Interesting to say the least.
