hello, could you please give me the title of the song by (Kirill & Kristina Polunina/622 I can't find it, not even by activating Shazam😢 thanking you in advance 🙏❤️💐
Couple 619, unfortunately the Lady lifted her foot off the floor at the start which looked poor. Not sure about her foot work crossing the feet on her 123?
Good lord, since when does the VW require the man to achieve a backbend? I mean, some of these couples look like they're dancing Samba Rolls!!! Am I that out of touch with the competitive dancing world, that you've changed ALL the rules?!!
This is WDSF style dancing where shapes are 45 degrees left or right. The WDC is always moaning about broken sway which is dropping the side in the direction of the sway BUT I dance WDSF style and I can tell you that it is NOT broken sway. It is just extreme stretching on the opposite side of the body. Some of these dancers are actually going more than 45 degrees. It feels great to do it and I encourage you to try it.
@@crwillis101 I appreciate you taking the time to respond, and for the explanation. I do enjoy a VW, there's nothing quite like that feeling of flying across the floor with swing and sway in perfect synchronicity to the ebb and flow of the music. But not this way of dancing it. I'm finding the posture and frame too extreme, especially the woman in purple - her upper body was essentially parallel to the floor. This is anathema to me, but if this is your technique and you enjoy it and it's getting you results on the circuit, then that's great for you :)
@@MsGrockle I too find the lady's position extreme but fortunately I don't have to do that. The lady's backward position is a major part of the effort to create a "BIG TOP". I think it looks great but it's hard on their backs and necks. Ballet is also extreme for the ladies. Nobody walks around on their toes in real life.
@@MsGrockle It reminds me of the joke: Some folks don't give credit to Ginger Rogers who was Fred Astaire's partner, remember she did the same stuff he did - just backwards and in heels.
I forgot a detail, the music starts at 2.28 Thanks 🙏

@@crwillis101 Yes, our poor feet, back and necks - we suffer for our art!
