You have inspired me to set one of these up. I have a craft tote I can use and I'm going to repurpose it for this. I keep juggling my planner, pens, drink, food and phone etc. and it's a Christmas miracle I haven't spilled and stained my carpet to something I don't recognize anymore lol..
Yay! Gurl- i have spilled so many times- even with my tote!!🤭. I hope your planner bag has exactly what you need. I always tell people. only put in your bag what you need. when I first started putting my bag together, I had my hole punch, my 10000 tombow role, etc. I had to start over. nothing but my planner and then realize what I was reaching for and added it to my bag. I hope you find your perfect system! Thanks for watching!!
That's a great tote, definitely a nice find! I got a basket for mine, but I end up with like 8 planners in it and its too heavy to carry 😅 I obviously need to scale down 😂😊
Nice tote! You got a good deal! I bought an inexpensive one from Amazon and the straps fall flat against the outside of the bag. I shared a video of it on my channel. I carry my bag from my at home office to my living room or bedroom whenever I want to plan or journal in another room.
Hi there... I watched your video when you left your comment and LOVED that tote. My only issue (this is a me issue 😂) I like lower sides... you know what I mean? I got a felt diaper bag everyone was recommending but the side walls were too high and it always felt like I was having to dig into the bag to grab my planner. I am silly I know. but I did watch and loved your tote!
Hi!😊👋🏻New sub! Loved this video. For the handles of the thrift planner bag, you could attach decorative clips at the top of the handles (one on each handle) and attach weighted charms (matching or coordinating) to the clip so this way every time you drop the handles they fall away from the bag OR you could use magnetic charms at the base of each handle and a small adhesive magnet on the inside of the bag so when you drop the handles they fall away and not towards the bag. My apologies for such a wordy comment😬but I had the same issue with 2 dollar store craft bags and these ideas worked for me. I hope that helps!😊🙏🏻

Great planner bag. Thrifting is the best. You can find so many great things. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
I also find all sorts of planner and crafty bits at the thrift shops.
I LOVE finding great treasures at thrift shops! So much fun. Thanks for watching!!
That is how I converted to a FC Compact- by accident I found a gorgeous black leather compact and bing badaboom - I changed sizes. LoL

if you get a couple cute key chains that have a little weight behind them they will hold the handle open.
This is a GREAT IDEA!!!! I am 100000% going to try this. I will keep you posted if it works. 🥰
