I'm glad to see your take and I agree that Nintendo is going to bring it in a big way. My only question is the Display choice anyone like myself that owns an Oled Switch knows how much better I looks over the OG Switch models I can't imagine that Nintendo would launch a Switch 2 with a display that doesn't look on par or better than the current Switch Oled. What your thoughts? 😊
T239 on paper is around 4 teraflops max, obviously with newer architecture and tensorcores and some few RT cores. It just depends how low Nintendo will clock it in docked mode and you have to consider, that the games must run in handheldmode too, that will be pretty low clocked. So in raw power it probably will not reach PS4 Pro, in the best case it would reach it docked. But with DLSS and newer tech and more Ram and a bit better CPU it will probably punch above it. I wouldn't call those consoles 4k consoles, i mean they are all capable of 4k, but that doesn't mean all games will run in 4k. On Switch 2 they will be upscaled as well and probably some games only to 1440p or even lower, depending on how demanding they are. It will be a fantastic new console either way. Switch 1 is far away from PS4 when it comes to image quality, fidelity, effects and performance and this new console will be better than PS4, Nintendo will do magic with it.
@currywurst2434 switch 1 was far away from ps4 but it has many ps4 ports that look identical lol. Even before the release of the switch, devs said they could port ps4 games easily, and that turned out to be true. Even though some games were 30 instead of 60 at 900p!1080p. If u hacked the system, u could push almost every game at 1080p 60 fps,and smaller indie games 120 fps. I definitely think switch 2 will e in-between series s and ps5 and will be 4k docked with slect games. I just hope all games are 60 fps and better
