wow! great video tutorial coach. I'm 42 and just started learning goaltending. I'm going to do these exercises and hoping to improve. Thank you for sharing.
Great tutorial, thanks! Really breaking down the T-push was very helpful for me because I was only taught to shuffle, the T-push supposedly opens up the legs too much. (I just started playing on ice a couple years ago). So I can't really do a T-push, but I'd like to have that movement in my toolbox, even if shuffles are my bread & butter.
Love to see knee slides and how to keep yourself balanced while doing it for young kids. I know you work with 8 year olds. Mine is 8 and played one year now. He's starting to work on knee slides, but sometimes over pushes and loses balance. Great video bud. He loves watching ya here from Wisconsin, USA.
I am beer league goalie & still working on skating (ex D man) As usual beer leaguers allow Goalie 2 minutes to stretch, maybe 3 minutes for shots( as usual they go for top, bottom 5 hole for warmups) then game on so where do we get the time to do the skating drills we need. Another question - angle & depth control - I keep losing my blocker post on top or backing in for show (am southpaw) any quick tips to stay proper to puck without losing angle & post? These shorts are fantastic
Hey im not a goalie. But im a coach. And i want to make it fun for our goalie and i want im to love the sport. Do anyone have some tips. What i can do to make him motivated inn training. And most imortantly love the sport and wanting to be better.
He has quite a few vids on this. One thing a coach did, was make fun games. Bounce a balloon, and then take shots on him. Gets competitive juices flowing. NOT crazy hard shots.

I wish I could spend even 5 minutes working on these. I know I could use it. I’m lucky if I get 3 minutes of shots before a game.
