people just keep hating on it but really just buff the amount of time it gives you or just pause the timer. i feel like it gives the players too much free roam while the PCX main chases down the player and makes it a scam. on top of the fact you have to spam jump for stamina.. and can never really fully catch up to players unless you stand still. in which I suggest maybe nerf his stamina drain and make it less. [3-4.5 Stamina taken per step]
So final act is a movement playground. It seems to add 6 seconds to the clock now rather than 4. Nah… I still legitimately see no reason to use this, the my world sign is still at least half a second and it can take more than 6 seconds to catch up to someone in final act. So it’s still a net loss in time. 8 or 10 seconds is as far as I can see it going without it getting out of control. Outside of that, limiting how long you can be in found you without hard it can be to hit with it is a bit silly. Since you are now encouraged not to hit it, and instead use it to regenerate stamina, block escape routes and essentially do the exact opposite of what his abilities are designed for. TL;DR: The changes don’t address PCX’s problems and instead make them more apparent and encourage the PCX players to use their abilities in unintended uninteresting ways rather than actually engaging with their base mechanics. Not to say the abilities themselves are flawed, here’s my suggestions. Either they swap things around where PCX gets end lag if he misses and no end lag but laughs when he hits it encourages actually getting hits with found you. Final act should at most give 10 seconds when taking a player to the domain, along side that give a greater time reward IF you catch the player to reward the player for actually catching them. Shorten the length of the sprint goal ring and increase the speed of both players further. If a player escapes teleport them away from PCX rather than leaving them where they were grabbed, to prevent tunnel vision. If PCX Catches a player the kill or hit is much quicker and he exits the domain immediately after the kill or hit, rather than after 1.5 seconds. Obviously with a slight damage nerf to final act as compensation.
Yeah I won't lie, I don't really see the need to actually hit the final act either. If anything, I'd be using it to close the distance and get a little stamina back. I'd probably be using found you in a similar manner, to close that distance and regain stamina.
Struggling to bring an absurdly fast character through a tight maze isn’t easy or fun.
True, the other one might be just run, but this one is buggy and you cant control PCX properly with these obstacles cuz his speed
