Looking back on the many times I've played rpgs and rougelikes, I can say that they get boring very quickly due to the repetitve gameplay. If you could make it so there's level rotation and no run is the same (take pressure for example) or you made each enemy unique in their abilities and animation in a way that forces me to engage with the game and think through instead the average basic (m1 + ability)^10 in all of roblox rpgs, then I'd like to believe your game would be a banger in the genre. Please allow me to emphasize on player engagement and immersiveness in the game because that's the selling point that many rpgs and rougelikes (and let's be honest, most roblox games) tend to forget or intentionally ommit for the sake of more money (take afk farms) and more gambling. It could be something simple like giving each sword their own m1 combo that has a cooldown and giving enemies openings and chokepoints after finishing strong or punishing attacks, to promote strategic thinking and engagement. I would also like to add my vote on the storyline progression, as it can elevate the experience (especially if unique) similar to how other games utilize it, like pressure.
This project has inspired me to make a roguelike-like this. MY BAD... RPG. I'm not as experienced as you/your team. I have no team and only have good coding experience, but I am still learning more. Hopefully, I can achieve my goals and work on something as great as your project!
I suggest adding flying enemies, and make a bridge in stage 23 that leads to the gate of the Fallen King where it will transition to stage 24. For the storyline, i suggest adding indirect story telling in the background like destroyed buildings suggesting that a war or a riot anything chaotic happened, add npcs that gives story's about what happen, and use some If coding like if you do this, this npc will have this dialogue.
I highly suggest you change the avatar from R15 to R6 because it would fit so much better with the pixel style you’re going for! I know this might have to make you redo the character animations but it’ll look so much better, trust me! :)

(Suggestions) Archer class can add more variety. Exclusive Archer class ability's can add more variety to the archer class. Modifiers ways to make the game harder for extra cash like enemies attack 2x faster 1.5x more currency or enemies are 2x faster 2x more currency. Difficulty's like easy,medium,hard,cruel (your choice) Nightmare harder the difficulty more drops u get and the more loot drops u get from bosses and minibosses and currency increase by 0.5%. More dungeons cool for u to add a theme to them like lava theme horror aquatic dessert etc. Biggest one enchanting make it so that legendary loot has a 4th or 3rd enchant slot and maybe a exclusive enchant. All the suggestions I have not expecting this on release keep going ur doing great ^U^
In stead of that enemies drop swords do that they drop parts and you can craft things like sword or abilities and perks. In chest you can find also. Also add a storyline or multiple maps like a tower defense so i wont be so dry. I recommend add various kinds of enemies like flying mini giant trowers. And add in the boss fight laser like things you need to dodge like undertale other wise its to easy.
Ideas (don’t call this yapping) secret rooms with a mini boss and items exclusive to that area. Enchants you need to use whatever the currency is in the game or a other one to enchant weapons and armor there will be different enchants depending on what you enchanting like armor you have thorns and protection or weapons damage or critical hit. I think worlds would be cool it could be boring defeating the same bosses over and over again. Player shops if players want to make some quick cash they can buy a stand and put stuff for sale. Add shiny/mutated enemies that are far more dangerous to fight with unique abilities to try kill you, but they drop weapons related to themselves accordingly E.g: a shiny archer perhaps can have a special attack that summons bows around itself to shoot in all directions and defeating this enemy gives a chance to drop the ‘archer’s descent’ which will have its related ability.
Idea: (TH-cam short) make your self your own armour and sword called the fudge helmet chestplace and legging and boots and cheese cake slayer ( I’ll draw a concept if you want just reply :) )
honestly this game is pretty interesting, but I would suggest adding more uniqueness to the game: -characters, like custom faces, -custom default models, instead of smoothed out r15, you could make a blocky type -custom lighting, since this one looks very similar to the roblox default one -new camera system, like behind player, above anything

I also think their should be little cooldowns every combo, since it would be really op if your character just can keep swinging swords without stopping. I feel like there should be a lock on too, similar to Elden ring.

Oaths: A specific debuff to counter your locket, and give's you more difficulty until you conquering your oath through beating the boss. Chains: A bind that allows the player to take more damage, in exchange for more damage dealt. = either that or add save slots for multiple playthroughs on same accounts if someone wants to start fresh.
idea:add a duel system sorta like a 1v1 this probably will bring in more players who are more interested in combat against other people (or just to have a good gaming sesh with the lads)
