dude not only you were the 2nd or 3rd fastest guy on the track, but your AMAZING defence against the corvettes helped you get that result. literally, i just LOVED how you let them run deep, then pip them on the exit, and if they get you back you defend the inside you squeeze them on the outside, there is nothing they can do about it. Great effort lad!
Emree had been racing a lot over the weekend. She's on Aussie time, did this race around 12-2pm UK time, had a nap and woke up for the Porsche All-Stars races where she got a win and a second, nearly winning that race from a Porsche works driver

Great video well done also, RCZ was a good choice glad you liked it, lacked bit pace on low fuel but Tidge was to fast there he did a great job from the front, start cost me bit time but even without that would struggled to match Tidge there. Hope we can do more these in future as I really enjoyed this race, well done LEG END 👍

I was thinking that you probably lost 3 or 4 seconds minimum by having to fight back through at the start (plus field spread). Might have been very close if not for the quali and start but still, Tidge drove pretty much faultlessly.

Great race! Enjoyed switching between all the streams but stayed with yours for the commentary. Kinda missed seeing Zocker90 in the race. Hope we get to see more of these races soon. Good job Lewis Bentley!
I haven't played Gran Turismo in some years! I just subbed because I'm starting to get back into gaming again, and this is awesome! Someone who is professional at gaming on Gran Turismo, perfect. I remember playing GT4 back when I was a kid in the mid 2000s on my PS2.

19:55 Almost over. Being in front on fresher tyres when you know how to defend is a MASSIVE advantage. At that point you're only a victim to big mistakes from yourself or someone ramming you.

Great defense on lap 27 on the kemmel straight from LewisBentley. You were driving me crazy with that "Bump Draft" and not going by. Maybe bc im probably a little more aggressive and I drive F1 2021. In the slip stream you can go by quicker.

Why didn't you guys do a multiple tire compound race? That would have been interesting.
Because it's shit. The different compounds are too unbalanced in GTS to be really interesting, you need to force the use of different tyres through the race by regulations just to end up with mirrored strategies that ultimately just kill potential wheel to wheel battles by artificially putting drivers on a different pace at the same stage of the race when they'd be super close on the same compound. We tried in other events, and found that if you want actual strategy in GTS, it simply doesn't work. You want to have everyone on the same tyres and play with other things.
Also Gr.3 cars should never be ran on anything grippier than race hards in this game - especially since the softer compounds break the BoP. All the softer compounds are really only suitable for formula cars - and even then, softs should have mediums grip, and supersofts be softs in terms of grip. Anything else, we'd need harder racing tyres, maybe one compound that'd sit between meds and hards, but closer to hards.
I think this race was very interesting with the mix of 1 and 2 stops. As Alex says, a mix of compounds actually has the opposite effect in many respects.
Actually pretty much all racing orgs have one brand of spec tire for a class and the tire manufacturer may change up the compound or carcass a bit due to weather temps or track but all teams use the same tires. Just makes for better racing usually. Also makes it better for the BOP in a class to have fewer controllable variables as well between the cars.
