Their performance at jones beach was the best I’ve ever seen. On one of the sneak passes the jet went by directly over our heads at about 50 feet and .95 mach! One of the coolest experiences of my life!

It is truly remarkable to recognize how superb the F16 is. The jet has been in service since the 1970's! Fundamental aerodynamic principles are timeless. Get it right the first time and there is little left upon which to improve. What struck me when I got to sit in one was how much you feel ON the airplane and not IN it. You just lean a little left or right, and you're looking straight down without anything in the way. The visibility all around is unmatched.
