I love Mark Hamill in the other Arkham games! I feel like people never give Troy a chance because the other ones have Mark and people really love him. I agree and I think Troy did an excellent job though!
I love what he says about video games being empathy machines. There's a reason we get so emotionally invested in telltale games instead of normal tv: the choices force you to truly engage with and think about what the characters say
I haven't been glued to a game like I have with this for quite some time. I was wondering how they did Indiana's voice. I thought maybe they digitised Ford's voice somehow? I've got to hand it to Troy Baker - he has done an absolutely incredible job here. Also, the environment art in this game is next-level. Overall, a staggering, bar-raising production.
I guess if Indiana Jones was a hipster. This guy always dresses like a little different Nikes from Portland or something. I truly believe you unironically dressed like a cosplay version of Indiana Jones for this interview. Baker is supremely talented but always a bit of a theater kid weirdo in the best way
So impressed with Troy's talent. He's done so well in so many great games, but to do such an amazing job doing Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones voice, is a feat in itself.
Voice actors in games are known within the gaming bubble, usually because they have a large body of work behind them so their voice becomes recognisable
I just got done playing thru this game and i had an amazing experience. The comedy, action, and missions all feel like there strait out of the movies and Troy baker's voice acting is amazing. I had to keep reminding myself that im not listening to Harrison Ford because he literally sounds just like him. This is by far one of the funnest games I've played in a while👍
Troy Baker is one of the best voice actors in gaming, he absolutely nailed the voice of young Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Troy getting complimented by Harrison Ford at The Game Awards was amazing. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
He and Nolan North would’ve had a great back and forth on this. Uncharted was considered to be the Indiana Jones for gamers of this generation. Nolan North was the actor who played Nathan Drake. Now Troy has played Indiana Jones and brought him to life again for the current generation. Fitting
The actor from the game already gets paid for his work. But the game is created by talented programmers who are sidelined, and the spotlight is thrown on the wrong people. Great job, world.
Beautiful. It may sound off topic but I chanced on this cool translator that does everything and more of what a translator should have, name is Immersive Translate and one thing that can really help is it’s new feature, which lets you create a custom AI expert for translating anything. Thank me later, it's gold.
Troy Baker is a fantastic voice actor and I grew up since 13 years old to now 28 hearing him play his other roles such as; Kanji in Persona 4, Yuri in Tales of Vesperia and much more. However, as a person? From the stories I read about him, his interactions with fans on social media or even fan meets? The guy is a bit of an ego manianc and a douche. It's no suprise Nolan North barely interacts with him anymore. Props to him nonetheless though
I agree - but for this, I genuinely believe he was the best guy for the job. He got so many micro expressions of Harrison Ford down and it really helped with immersion and I was really impressed. He also absolutely nailed it as Joel in the last of us. But I do agree he's a little over used at this point. He's kind of like to voice acting what lin manuel Miranda is to movie music.
I mean i know its good the game will be available for all platforms but dang Xbox... Missed opportunity right there to have THEIR game in their ecosystem..
The interviewer oozes 'nice guy' slimy positivity, so much so that he made Troy Baker of all people seem like a hyper alpha male. Such a typical journo tho.
Happy for Troy. I remember when he 1st got that toupee. He should probably buy a different style though. When bald guys in toupeés don't change the style it becomes obvious. Frank Grillo is bald and has the same hairpiece in everything he's in. Including cartoons. In any event, taking your own life is the best solution for baldness. Even better than toupeés. LET'S GO TROY!!!!!!!
Lest we forget, Baker was also The Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins and he killed it.
I love Mark Hamill in the other Arkham games! I feel like people never give Troy a chance because the other ones have Mark and people really love him. I agree and I think Troy did an excellent job though!
He was also Batman in the Telltale games…also Arkham Knight in Arkham Knight…and two-face in the Ark- what is he NOT?!
I loved him talking with and being complimented by Harrison Ford on Game Awards.
I love what he says about video games being empathy machines. There's a reason we get so emotionally invested in telltale games instead of normal tv: the choices force you to truly engage with and think about what the characters say
Gotta hand it to Voss, he is one of the best villains for Indiana Jones.

I like how hes dressed like indiana jones
I like how he normally dresses like Indiana Jones.

Absolutely loved his portrayal of Revolver Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
"bring the legend back to life"
Oh what that's his best character then
Nah the o.g voice actor is alot better.
Glad Troy/games is getting more mainstream coverage.
Pagan Min is Troy's finest role.
Always been one of my favorites!!
RIP Tony Todd

The title makes me think he's gonna do an Indiana Jones film.
Baker is Gandalf too in lego video games.
Crazy how he gets global recognition now with Indiana jones after 20 plus years of playing our fav gaming characters.
Troy Baker is one of the best voice actors in gaming, he absolutely nailed the voice of young Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Troy getting complimented by Harrison Ford at The Game Awards was amazing. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Fantastic recognition he’s wonderful
Smart, talented, and humble. Troy is one of a kind
Troy looking like an Indiana Jones villain in that puc
Guy is a living legend at this stage iconic voice
Game of the past 5 years 🎉
He and Nolan North would’ve had a great back and forth on this.
Uncharted was considered to be the Indiana Jones for gamers of this generation. Nolan North was the actor who played Nathan Drake.
Now Troy has played Indiana Jones and brought him to life again for the current generation.
Fitting
So now Troy has played Indy and Nathan Drake's brother
He was also voice actor in Batman Arkham shadow and the earlier Arkham asylum
For me, I knew him when he voiced as Hawkeye in Avengers Assemble cartoon series.
Marios did an amazing job as Emmerich Voss too! One of the best Indy VIllains. Possibly even the second best.
It’s a marvellous game and the same can be said of his performance the voice was uncanny
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will always be my introduction to Troy Baker.
Spare a thought for Roger Hallam. A real hero this Christmas

Troy baker
He has never worked in my favourite movie town. 🎥🎥🎥
That's not Voss lol
BBC report with the camera work crossing the line. TUT TUT
I wish I loved me like Troy Baker loves Troy Baker... jokes aside, good work man!
Troy is great but other voice actors deserve a chance

Why not mention the Joker and Batman?
Probably because unlike the characters mentioned other actors have also done those voices
I do wonder at what point does an artist incorporate a weird hat into their appearance.
Johnny Depp did it first
Ill get this when it comes to ps5
Enjoy, it's a great game.
@cr9153 thanks I'm a fan of the movies also, been a while since I looked forward to a game
@@stequalityavoid spoilers!
@@Joel-bh5xd oh i will
A better place! Long live Indy!
how? bbc plays games
I don't know if Troy is wearing that hat quite right...
Hipster style. He even speaks hipster in alot of interviews.
Omg, Voss is real. :D
Ocelot!
The footage they use make the game look boring... really bad editing. How many scenes of the character climbing walls did they use? Holy shit
Yeah they should have shown hitting enemies with random stuff in the world. They also didn't show Voss when they talked about him.
Peter Pan
Loved this game. Best Indiana Jones thing since Last Crusade.
❤❤❤
I mean i know its good the game will be available for all platforms but dang Xbox... Missed opportunity right there to have THEIR game in their ecosystem..
Thank you Microsoft and thank you GamePass. I sold my ps5 for this game on GamePass. Series X and GamePass is the best thing in the world.
Smart decision. 2025 looking fantastic too for gamepass.
Great game, everyone get playing it over Christmas, you won't be disappointed 👏
Within 50 years, technology will enable Hollywood to make direct sequels to TV shows and movies with actors long since dead.
Joel will always be his magnum opus, come on!
The interviewer oozes 'nice guy' slimy positivity, so much so that he made Troy Baker of all people seem like a hyper alpha male. Such a typical journo tho.
Looks like RDJ with an eating disorder in the thumbnail, Jesus
Its troy baker
I didn't say it wasn't. Bit slow, aren't ya?
Its troy baker
Eeeeeeew microsoft
Usless tosser you are
Sorry but I can't get over the invisible line awkwardness. I had to be that guy...
Who is Indiana Jones? A western clown maybe!
So Harrison ford had nothing to do with it?! And his likeness and voice-style is being used. Hmm idk if I like that.
Does anybody really care?
Yh mate maybe u and ur 10 subs dont but we do
You do or you wouldn't have been here right ?
I do
@@stequality pardon
@Christian-m7o7i I was talking to mclkeith, why would you say pardon anyway?
