Good man, your story rang so many bells with my own, feeling invincible, losing the mental health, growing a conscience. Keep it up, the only thing I can say from being a few years down the line from you, is the longer you stay away from all that, the more times you say no to it, the easier it gets. And if you remain positive, use that same drive you used in the madness in civvy street, your life will be unrecognisable from what it was. Massive congratulations you’ve already come so far it’s clear to see 👏 👏

Outstanding story! I have been and know people that have been through a similar situation to this brother. The upbringing, troubled teen then gang violence and the vicious cycle then have nothing at the end.
He went through a lot and good he was very strong mentally and physically to come out in a positive way and hopefully break the cycle to get into the youths head that being a “gangster” is not a life you want, see beyond your environment and don’t become it.
To all the men take care of your mental health! ❤️
