I worry more every day that my plan with the Winterbekind-board won't work out - because it might not get cold enough (I'm in Germany). If I'm lucky, it stays very cold for weeks - but there are also some weeks when it only gets 26°F at night and gets to 40°F during the day. And what happens to the exception when there's that one week in the middle of winter when it's 68°F every day and 41°F at night. Will the sugar mass drip completely wet on the bees? Could the whole project become a deadly trap?
The critical park is know exactly how to cook and prepare the substance. Ours will not melt in warmer temps any faster than the bees can consume it. It is a bit tricky to make it perfectly.
I tried your message this year to grow my hive by feeding them one-to-one sugar water and leaving an upper super Without a Queen excluder how's the queen to lay in the upper box however, that did not happen previous the queen never laid in that upper super and the bees filled it with what's probably sugar water honey why did the queen not lay in that second super?
You have created that kind supportive environment for your live chats and TH-cam channel and your subscribers appear to be the same. Thanks 🙏
Nice meeting Jessica.
Sorry I missed it live, we had our club meeting last night. Haha, you and Sheri have time for a personal life? I don't believe it!
Can you just feed candy board rather than 1-to-1 sugar water now? I always get to much moisture when I use sugar water.
Candy boards are for winter. 1:1 is to raise bees of winter physiology in the fall.

I don't understand why you feed 1-1 to keep brooding going in the winter ? Don't you want to put weight on the hives for winter at some point
Here’s my video explaining: th-cam.com/video/tTyzolGe6pg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Y8vec_jRv_1pXncO

Why do i have to wait 30 seconds to watch the video????? Just wasted the time.
Because you are watching the replay of the livestream. You can always slide the play bar past the 30 second count down.
