I have a PRS SE that has the same pickups, neck, and other attributes as yours. Yours has one distinct advantage, though. I suck at playing, while you play magnificently. Your sound is awesome and I like that you play without so much shredding and bullshit show-off moves. I like hearing aggressive chords, long sustain and playing that showcases your abilities and the characteristics of the guitar itself. Thanks for producing this video and sharing it on TH-cam!
@@NinecoreNeilthose were the best PRS SE times: made in S.Korea in WMI factory, they were very well-made & not even discounted. You definitely missed the train 5 years ago. They had a Floyd version back then, too. Nowadays made by Cor-Tek and you see a PRS SE always at prices slashed.
The 43mm nut and wide thin profile of my Mark Holcomb SE model, along with its flat 20" radius, somehow yield my favorite neck out of my guitarsenal. Have you ever tried a Mark Holcomb 6-string model? I totally recommend giving one a shot if you get a chance, and adding a TUSQ XL nut (PT-6643-00) if you decide to keep it. Have a good'n, Neil.
@@JoelCSabo that 20” radius definitely has me interested buddy and it looks great too that helps I’d definitely try one if they had a demo model available
Looks and sounds awesome. Sounds pretty heavy, are you in standard tuning? I'd like to try one as I really like my SE Custom 24-08 and presume this would feel very similar.
@@iduncanw drop d tuning yeah the pickups have a spongy chewy feel which is quite pleasant when you dig in on the chugs I’ll be using this in an amp demo very shortly so keep your eyes on the channel 😀

@@michaelthomas9991 wow that’s such a nice comment thanks so much
Looks and sounds stellar
And your lead playing 🤘
@@iwannarockon2010 thanks ….. it’s not often I play lead stuff but I might start using it more often cheers
Raw and BRUTAL 😎
I want to try that guitar so bad.
Glad to see you finally trying a PRS ...they are fantastic 🎸...can't wait until you try some other models
@@JamesFlorio-ti8gc I really want to try a Floyd version now tbh wish the sandblasted models had a Floyd for extra dives
@NinecoreNeil they had a previous run of the SE Custom with both the Floyd and the sandblast. I think it was 2019 and it's a set neck
@@NinecoreNeil there are all new Floyd versions at Sweetwater that have new quilt tops and ebony in the SE range. Andertons should be carrying them
@@bradleystroup1457 that needs to come back I think I saw them actually

I heard it comes in purple ?
@@KingCotton-8 yes it does it’s great
Sandblasted is ugly when it came out like 20 years ago. Charvel tried it..didn't do well. But PRS guitars are awesome

Stunning guitar....If they had a hard-tail bridge, then I would test them out 🤘
That’s the Paul’s guitar you’re looking for.
But not the sandblasted ones.
@@Hagfish-WS Sure...but I don't really like the Pauls's one 😎 I prefer regarding design the sandblasted 🤘
I might grab one but I still like the jackson green glow better
@@gravelrocks5588 very different guitars I think the cool thing is they are all unique due to the grain
