Correction...TAYLOR SHERIDAN ruined Yellowstone!!! He put way too many projects on his plate and couldn't hardly finish ANY of them. Took TWO YEARS for 6 episodes to finish season 5. It took so long...it wasn't even the same season as season 5. HELL, it wasn't even the same year! Taylor ruined it all by himself!
It was his show too ruin if that's how you feel he has 3 going shows that are great right now We had 5 Great years of Yellowstone get in with your life and accept Costner left
@@Furianbl I'm really enjoying landman, my boyfriend likes Tulsa king and mayor of Kingston Sheridan is a Great writer, I think what's between Costner and Sheridan is their problem, I think season 6 with Rip and Beth could work cause RIP really knows John as much as Beth does if not more
According to Costner, the production of season 5, part 2, was postponed THREE times. This infuriated Costner who decided if Sheridan can’t get his shit together because he’s got too many irons in the fire, F it and move on the Horizon 2 & 3.
@@robdunham7398 I really don't care anymore it's a done deal You guys can gossip all day long their Huge EGOS CLASHED it doesn't change the fact John is dead and the show is Taylor Sheridan's
Kevin stopped filming his movie, came to yellowstone set, then taylor did script changes After he stopped filming his movie.SO COMPLETELY TAYLOR FAULT! trying to do too many shows, which fans now have to suffer for. These last episodes are ridiculous
The monumental ego of the writer of the series wherein he thought himself bigger than the star. It shows in the last season as he inserted himself with the Texas ranch (160 acres lol) being more important than Yellowstone. This is the steroid enhanced writers fault.
@@nan7503 But I thought Beth killing Jamie was poetic and the ranch was always gonna be gone whether John lived longer or not he promised Rainwater and the Cheif
Beth Rip will get their own lives and show Kaycee will appear Luke already said everyone will live their own lives hopefully the friends will try to stay in touch but even had John not been murdered the land was always going back to the Native Anerican people Tate is John's heir and he is Native American
@@nan7503 The 6666 ranch that Sheridan actually owns is over 260,000 acres, the 9th largest ranch in Texas. The ranch where Yellowstone was filmed is 2500 acres but the mythical Yellowstone was supposed to be over 600k acres.
Costner had a agreement regarding Yellowstone and his project of Horizon..Costner showed up and there was no prepared script. Sheridan also ignored Costner's schedule for Horizon, he essentially forced Costner's hand. Sheridan seems to like taking a dump on his success, stepping in it, and then blaming others. His ego is killing Yellowstone, he's cruising for a bruising. Sheridan is on his way to becoming the next Michael Cimino.
Yes he did force Kevin Costner out early but the show was always gonna end with the ranch being torn down and the land given back to the Native American people as Monica saidin a respectful way it was her people's land first
If the show would just focus on the Montana characters, there are many paths it could take and still be fantastic. But dividing the limited time between Montana and Texas, and the lack of continuity with the time jumping back and forth, really hurt this season.
Well Texas must be next to Montana with all the roundups and horse movements and sending staff to Texas to learn to be cowboys was a bit of a stretch...Just getting Sheridan's farm on the series.
I dont think they can ever make a clean finale! There is still to many plot holes! The biggest one involves Sheridan’s own character and the Rodeo team he put together that was suppose to 1.stack checks as thick as phone books to the sky 2. Put Yellowstone on the map and make it as big as the King Ranch. And also pick acorns along the way! When they left that story off, they were doing exactly that! Beth was proved wrong when she saw all the checks. And what happened to that plan along with her plan to use the ranch as a tourist destination and rent out part of it for weddings! Which a good wedding venue can cost 10k an hour imagine the amount of cash they could’ve charged to do that! Those 2 plot holes are enough in itself to “save the land” if Yellowstone teamed with Dodge or whatever to make a truck package like the Ford King series that’s millions of dollars plus a percentage of the sales! Plus Beth put that moat around her daddy farm remember that from season 1 and when she took over market equity she had sole ownership of the land to put it in a federal not state protection exemption!! So the airport is a no go and the state can’t even touch it.
Taylor Sheridan owns the show he wrote it created it Kevin Costner was actor/ CO Producer Anyone can be replaced even Kevin Costner, Taylor should've just hired Josh Lucas he showed he had the grit to do it Costner is a big baby about this suicide/ murder He played a part in his younger years as a man commiting suicide Beth even had admitted it's better without Kevin
Here’s a plot twist that would keep it going. Consider this ; John Dutton has a cousin in Argentina. She and her husband had just recently sold their land to developers (on their terms) and came out filthy rich. Developers had tried every dirty trick in the book to abscond their immense acreage, but she seemed to always be two steps ahead (she’s even smarter than Beth). When things got rough, her husband, who was former delta force, made sure that wasn’t going to work. News travels to them about the death of John Dutton so they travel to the states to save the land and do battle with developers. Joining ranks, the cousin (played by Kate Winslate) teaches Beth how to be cunning whilst be stealthy (a skill she learned from her delta force husband, played by Idris Elba). Idris teaches kayce and Rip the finer, more efficient ways of doing battle. A new alliance is formed that includes the Native Americans. They defeat the factions that be and not only save the Yellowstone, but bring it into untouchable fiscal prosperity. That’s how you end it. Now THATS a show!
Taylor's ego and attitude were so much bigger than the very show He created. It turned him into a person with narcissistic tendencies. Watch out Taylor, pride comes before a fall.
This show hasn't been half as good since Costner left. Then they go and kill off Colby for no real reason. Why didn't Carter just put the water down in front of the stall, instead he put in down in the back of the stall. Lol, C'mon now.
Killing Colby I did not like yes I think they were trying to show Ranch life can be risky and that no character is in destructible or some crap but really why break Teeter's heart she was so sweet and a great character I welled up when she came back for John's goodbye but grief changes you it just does Thank God Beth has rip and some people said Rip was well it wasn't complimentary cowboys are allowed to have emotions and cry especially over the ones they love the entire point of the show was he is the calm in the tornado that is Beth both have tragic childhood's his kinda worse but that drew them to each other at young ages so she got pregnant it happens in real life she trusted the wrong person to help because she felt her daddy would be mad and he apologized to her later when he found as an adult what she went through that she felt she could not come to him he apologized for making her think that
and the investigator told Beth as she was out in the ambulance that Jamie had not cooperated with the investigation into John's death which Kaycee had reopened and ruled undetermined so the investigators knew Jamie was involved and they knew about him and Sarah Atwood
TS is a narcissist who thinks he knows better than anyone else. All of his shows are basically the same in different places. However, i enjoyed Yellowstone but was highly upset when Costner left but knew TS wouldn't try and keep him.
Actually insiders say it was really hard to move on with both guys as they are both arrogant/entitled a-holes...causing the rest of the cast a lot of hours doing nothing. The cast said this season 5 went smoothly without Costners demands...Taylor/Costners ego's. IMO big mistake to get rid of Jamie as he was the perfect family villain.
I was sad that Costner forced out but the ending he got John deserved better but Beth evened the score if it were my mama Daddy or brother I would do the same to the person who hurt them Jamie not only has John killed and stages a suicide the last speech he made as he took office he smeared the name of the man who adopted him at 3 months old saving him from a drug addict birth father who killed his birth mother John saved Rip after he in self defense killed his stepfather who he watched kill his mother and young brother unable to stop it Jamie found out shortly before John was murdered that he had been adopted that was partial motive Jamie could not even face the man who raised him and kill him he hired someone he cried more over his spern carrier than the man who loved him John Dutton loved Jamie he had no idea what he did to Beth when she told him he did try to kill him you protect Blood she was his blood he apologized to her for putting her in that spot with his abortion policy Kaycee not knowing saved Jamie that day John ntold him ask your sister John promised long ago that when he was gone the Native Americans would get their land and he would never allow airports and such to be built on it his carried out that promise and Rip was one of them and Oh my Lord Rip personally laying him to rest my eyes were watering LOL then they started leaking! As for Jamiebye sucka!
@@frantictoast3741 I'm not attempting to speak for "everyone", but it seemed pretty obvious to me that Beth would eventually kill Jamie after he took her to the reservation abortion clinic and OK'd her being sterilized. Beth was only 14 yrs old and scared, in trouble, and turned to her older brother, who she loved and trusted, to help her. He betrayed her love and trust in a most heinous way and while she didn't know at the time what had been done to her with Jamie's permission, when she found out later, Jamie's death was a given, IMO. Also IMO, Beth is the ultimate heroine in this series, surviving unimaginable trauma and abuse, and yet still able to find love and trust in her relationship with Rip, which ironically was the beginning of all the mess between Beth and Jamie in the first place, as it was Rip who got Beth pregnant when she was 14 yrs old and he was like what 15? 16?
"DANCES WITH WOLVES" made me a huge fan, I remember the movie was on TV in two parts on two days. My siblings and I watched it and couldnt wait 24hrs to see the 2nd half.
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO NOTICED THE SAME THING I DID!! They were talking about Beth being insane, dangerous, evil and a threat to him and his goal of becoming governor, and with Jamie knowing Beth knew he murdered his dad, they decided she needed to be taken care of! Not John!
Its a great show and yes some characters can do a spinoff after watching through out the season., but one thing that led me to trying this in the first place was Costner. Its not easy trying to choose what TV show I'll invest with some of my free time and seeing Costner as one that leads made me decide to try watching it.
Totally agree, I love it all, it’s defiantly not ruined for me because I don’t look behind the scenes, I just immerse myself in Yellowstone and it’s amazing characters, brilliantly written
Knowing an person inside, the 6 episodes we are watching right now were supposed to culminate with John's assassination. Then there was either going to be a season 6, a movie, or Beth, Rip, Kayce spin-off after 2 years, one that would tie together Land Man and the Madison. Costner leaving messed that up, so episode one (9) became John's death. The six episode would see John passing a big piece of legislation that would make the Yellowstone's unused pieces protected parkway, bringing in Federal revenue.
KEVIN COSTNER DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG SOMEONE ELSE DID 2 YEARS JACKING OFF HE GOT BEHIND ON HIS WRITING THE SCRIPT AND THE PLOT IT'S DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENCE TO KNOW READ BETWEEN THE LINES COMMON SENSE KNOWLEDGE INTUITIONS EDUCATION COMMUNICATION SKILLS AMEN AND AMEN❤️❤️❤️! !!!
Fans have zero faith the way that they are ending this series! There is no way this final season is better than originally planned. So far, up to season 5 episode 13, it has been nothing but a let down with personal advertisements for TS and filler for 15 to 30min of every episode.😢
I was waiting for John's Secretary to call Beth and tell her everything that was happening in office. Because remember she was talking to Lynelle and Lynelle told her because she didn't have a job at the moment she didn't have to keep quiet and that Beth should know everything.
What would 6666 be about? Honestly, I keep thinking what would make it feel entertaining to watch? More random b roll shots or cowboys, horses, and cows? Is it going to be a drama/romance? Would they have a crime/murder element? Does 6666 have a similar branding system for men who work the ranch like there was on Yellowstone? I don’t think we need a 6666 spin off.
6666 is about the new beginning for Rio Beth and the family they are likely gonna keep Carter and I saw rip holding a small child likely Jamie's the Duttons kids are gonna get their own lives they stayed at the ranch for Joh and to carry out his last wish sooner than they wanted but it is what it is sadly they came full circle every kid grows up and leaves home to start their own lives and families that's what Beth and Rip and Kaycee and Monica did that's all why is everyone so pissed about that it would eventually happen with or without Kevin Costner being killed off that part is the part you should pissed off about not that Beth gave Jamie his Just Desserts
How I would’ve loved to see Robert Redford on the YS, he makes a fine cowboy, as in ‘The Horse Whisperer.’ I seriously doubt he and the egomaniac Sheridan would’ve been compatible tho. Spinoffs make no sense IMO. Beth, Rip and Carter have their peaceful new ranch in Dillon MT. No more conflicts with Jamie, no more running the YS ranch. Just let them be happy. Four Sixes will merely be a showcase for Sheridan and his spinning horses. His show, his ranch, his script writing, and it will tank. When YS began, it had Sheridan’s full attention. Since then, he’s spread himself so thin with multiple shows, it seems to be about quantity, not quality anymore. I’m not interested in any more Sheridan shows. Done.
Who the hell of the fans wants Jaime to have a good ending ?! I felt sorry for him sometimes especially in the earlier seasons but he is such a spineless weasel. Not to mention he MURDERED a reporter and his own BIOLOGICAL FATHER in cold blood.
BTW perhaps this all plays out the way it looks on the surface, with Jamie taking the fall. But I have a theory: 1) John's cancer had returned and was terminal. Maybe Costner as John recorded a video that reveals the truth. Maybe the drama btw Sheridan and Costner is all for show. 2) It was Beth who picked the Reservation for her abortion over Billings because supposedly if in Billings "everyone would know" as if the same wouldn't be true on the reservation. But at least the folks on the reservation would fear John finding out. When the receptionist tells Jamie about the sterilization, he seems surprised, looks out toward the truck, and says "Understood." He realizes now why Beth insisted on coming here. He would never do this on his own out of fear of disappointing and angering his father. While forced sterilization had ceased by thus point, perhaps the doc there would only perform abortions if the patient "requested" a hysterectomy as well. I'd guess the clinic insisted on written acknowledgement as well. Beth later suppresses these memories and/or just blames Jamie for letting her do this at just 15. I love Beth but let's be honest...she is mentally unwell. 3) After discovering his natural father, Garrett Randall, tried to have John, Beth, and Kayce killed, Jaime tells John and agrees to kill Randall. This is why he doesn't just take Beth's phone away when she records him dumping the body. John already knows but letting her think she has Jamie by the short hairs is useful for both John and Jamie. 4) Jaime, in coordination with the dying John, baits Sarah to kill John. 5) Kayce's idea of giving away the ranch will not work. Tax wise and legally it is a no go, and any attempt to circumvent the agreement to sell the land to Market Equities or the state would be tossed in court. 6) But it doesn't matter. Jaime or John have long known the way to protect the ranch. The scene from 1883 in which the tribe says they get the land back after 7 generations and James says they can have it is a CONTRACT that allows the Duttons to use the land but it reverts to the tribe after 7 generations. James likely wrote of this in a journal or records and John or Jaime found the proof. Thus the Duttons do not actually own the land at all. They have a right to use it but the tribe is the actually the equitable owner. 7) Only one other person knows about the plan. That person is Rip. That's why when Travis Wheatley inquires about John's death, Rip tells him it is a story for another time. He wasn't merely assassinated and it is complicated and Rip won't lie to Travis, so he avoids telling him. Rip will ultimately agree to kill Jaime for Beth and torches his car but he is working with Jaime and will not kill him. 8) Ultimately Jaime exposes the whole deal and reveals that the ranch is actually property of the tribe. Market Equities is implicated in either the assassination of John or at least in killing Sarah to cover it up. Market Equities is wounded, likely fatally. Montana, without a business partner and with the tribe arguably as the equitable owner of the land, will not put up a fight. Likely Jaime has already made a deal with Rainwater to convey the ranch earlier to the tribe, making Rainwater a hero and securing his re-election. In return the Duttons get to administer and ranch the land going forward, and without ownership there is no taxes to pay on the land, just the income. The agreement btw Jaime and Rainwater include hiring of tribe members to work the ranch. Rip told Lloyd he wanted to keep him on to help build it all back up again. Rip knows that is what they will be doing, just using new native American "cowboys." BTW it would be particularly tragic is Jaime is still killed by his siblings, only later to discover that he was the one to save the ranch. Again I'm probably way off. I just hope the ending is not as predictable as it is appearing it might be. I think my version would be far more interesting.
Disappointingly it did all play out the way it looked on the surface, with Jamie taking the fall. Too bad, as I think my idea would have made a much better finale.
I give Taylor credit for making this show , am so hooked on it , that I would like for it to continue, even if Kevin isn't there , but Beth , Keyce , RIP , are still there.
Kevin Costner DID NOT ruin Yellowstone!! Taylor Sheridan did that! Thank god for the remaining cast to pull it over the line. Sheridan is the difficult one. He got kicked off sons of anarchy due to being difficult and this is a pattern that’s ongoing.
I find it laughably that every blames sheridan and gives credit to kevin costner, who didn’t write a single line for the series. This was taylors brain child . Get over it . Kevin got paid for his acting that was it . Executive producers only get their name slapped on it but paramount was the bankroll !
I think the problems are when big egos collide you get this rift. Taylor wrote a script and Costner is just used to always having his way with everything. At least they didn't turn Yellowstone into Waterworld.
My theory for the finale of this season. Rip and Beth confront Jamie and Jamie shoots Beth. Either Beth also gets a shot off fatally wounding Jamie or Rip shoots him. Finale ends with Beth on a stretcher put into an ambulance.
And did the Beck bros plane explode? Who was Jamie’s bio mom, Evelyn’s sister perhaps? I have an entire list of these loose ends I would’ve liked answers to!🤷🏻♀️
Way too much of Taylor Sheridan’s character in Sunday’s episode. It was totally self serving on his part. He tried to make himself look HOT. He failed miserably. Beth told him she “needed” him at the auction. She thought because he got 3 million for one horse that he could do the same thing at the auction. There was one shot of him in the stands. He was supposed to increase the bottom line. He did NOTHING! The storylines aren’t coming together? Beth’s plans for a resort like wedding venue? The “moat” Beth built around the ranch? The rodeo team that was bringing in millions? Very sad that all the promising things that could have happened have been abandoned. This “hot mess” is a direct result of Kevin Costner’s “God Complex”. Everyone must remember that actors recite what’s written for them. Costner has been fortunate in being able to recite really great material written by really great writers. No one remembers the names of the actors who recited the works of Shakespeare, but the writer is remembered in every way imaginable. Taylor Sheridan is the star (except for a brief egotistical moment). Kevin Costner thought that Horizon would be legendary. In a way it was. It totally bombed at the box office. No one wanted to see it. According to those who initially viewed the film, it was hard to stay awake. When Horizon failed to bring Costner accolades, he wanted to return to Yellowstone. He made millions per episode on Yellowstone. He had mortgaged one of his homes in order to fund Horizon. The potential to return to Yellowstone was attractive. He could pay off the mortgage on the house and return to being a central character on one of the biggest hits TV has ever known. No matter how many times anyone says that it’s Sheridan’s fault, don’t kid yourself, Kevin Costner killed Yellowstone and left John Dutton on the floor of his bathroom with a bullet in his head. Now Kasey will sell Yellowstone to Rainwater as a representative of Tate’s tribe, The Lakota Nation (?) for a ridiculous amount, perhaps $1? Thus the prediction of the land being returned to the Indigenous people in 7 generations will be fulfilled. The Dutton’s will be given a lease into perpetuity with some Indian oversight and involvement. There will be no airport. With any luck the best outcome for Jamie will be a small private law practice and a reunion with the mother of his son, so he can father his child. The ranch hands with the brand will refuse to leave the ranch. Colby’s death was gratuitous totally unacceptable and unnecessary violence meant to break more than Teeter’s heart. There needs to be some sort of resolution to this. More than what’s been done. The time spent on Colby’s death, Sheridan’s strip poker and horse riding scenes could have been far better used advancing storytelling. It’s as though Sheridan got lost in his own mind maze. Colby was Teeter’s chance at happiness. Did Sheridan think that killing Colby was going to be a positive influence on future scripts? Beth taking Teeter to a resort bar and expecting her to duplicate the “put down” was unrealistic. Beth selling EVERYTHING left Carter with no horses to care for? There is still a core herd of cattle “a result of a hundred years of breeding” on the ranch, or did Beth sell that too? Horses are needed to move cattle. Kasey surely wouldn’t have allowed Beth to sell all of it while he had a plan in mind to save it. Rip told Lloyd, stay because we are going to build it back. They have to have something to build with. This is where Sheridan is failing us after Costner abandoned us. The “new parts” don’t mesh well with the “old parts”. The BIG question is, WHY? Why didn’t he write the words he’s capable of writing? Why did he want to take his clothes off? Why kill Colby? Why have branded hands be blown to the winds? Beth whispers to her father’s casket, I will avenge you. Can’t do that without killing Jamie. We need another season to accomplish that!
The finale was good, but the last 5 episodes weren't available on Paramount plus which we were already paying for. We were forced to purchase the last 5to finish the series. This was sneaky and wrong in my opinion.
Kevin Costner spent 5 years trying to get Sheridan to commit to a solid filming schedule so that he would be able to plan other projects around YS.. Sheridan kept telling Costner that he would commit to a schedule, and then when it came time to actually film, everything fell apart, making it impossible for Costner to fulfill contract obligations to other projects.. costner WAS just going to end it after JD gets shot on the side of the road in the s4 finale, but Sheridan talked him back again, but when things still hadn’t changed halfway through S5, Costner just decided to close the door altogether, and end negotiations completely without any possibility of coming back to the table, because he knew if he did, Sheridan would’ve agreed to his conditions, and then just go against them once they started filming .. Taylor Sheridan 1000% was the one who killed his own show.. I didn’t watch the first episode on nov 10 right away cause it was my birthday and I was out to dinner with the family.. once I heard that John Dutton was killed off within the first 10 mins of the episode, I decided not to watch the last season at all .. I’d rather not see everything I loved about the show get torn to pieces, from the bond the characters have, to the horses, cattle and even he 1883 chuck wagon, right down to the very house and barn that housed the horses, characters bonds/connections, and memories .. The whole 5 seasons they kept talking about Tate getting the property, which would’ve made a lot more sense.. he was half native, half Dutton, which would’ve symbolized both cultures getting the ranch and land, and they could have had Tate allow the broken rock tribe to share the land with the Dutton family, but instead they sell everything into oblivion, getting only 30 million, then give the land in it’s entirety to rainwater and the broken rock tribe, who then erase every sign of their existence on the property, except for their ancestors gravestones .. they way they ended this show was a MASSSSSSSSSIVE dick punch, and killing Colby off was just the added “fuck you🖕”.. he was one of my favourite characters, along with Ryan
I really think Costner will return through flashback, and he has filmed at least one scene, or voice over for the season 5 finale. and they are going out of their way to keep it a secret, because of the emotional impact of the scene. I also believe that Jamie will survive. Beth is vengeful and full of rage, but I think Johns death humbled her. Colbys death, brought out that side of her when she consoles Carter, Rip even showed a softer side towards the adoptive son. Beth and Rip will more than likely show sympathy towards Jamie, being adopted as well, and learn to live in peace, instead of hate, by forgiving Jamie for something that he really didn't do on purpose. Beth and Rip settle down, and jamie reunites with his kid and ex. Everyone ultimately showing emotional growth. Jamie really is a tragic figure, and I can't see them killing him off after everything the Duttons did to him. Thats my prediction. (But he did kill that reporter) , so maybe Jamie just ends up in jail.
They keep forgetting something Costner is an executive producer of the Yellowstone show and his money is backing the show. TS is having issues with one or 2 of his other shows too he not getting scripts in on time so to many irons in the fire. It’s kinda like they are pushing TS to the breaking point but Paramount doesn’t care. But that nothing new
I would argue Kaycee was always John's favorite and he treated him as the oldest son. Beth was always fighting with John. Dont now how you got that. If its just Rip and Beth I am done. Kaycee must play a big role. He is the biggest actor Luke Grimes and the only son.
That’s not why he left. Costner wanted to do other projects and Yellowstone couldn’t commit to dates. Basically they wanted him to work on Yellowstone only. This is why he’s not in this season
If there’s a good series that should have continued, it would have been the Magnificent Seven with Micheal Biehn as Chris (after his stellar performance in 1993 Tombstone)
If a "spoiler" ruins a tv show it was never good in the first place. Speculation are spoilers nowadays. Most scripted program is predictable my goodness.
Yeah this would have worked if it wasn't for Paramount. Considering that yeah Taylor Sheridan did eventually focus on other stuff so he didn't really care anymore about Yellowstone. But yeah it would have made perfect sense if Jamie killed John Dutton instead of like some random Hitman did it. After being hired by Sarah to do it. Eventually having her killed off first and then even though Jamie didn't kill John Dutton no he was stupidly indirectly involved he technically didn't kill John Dutton. Also yeah the whole entire thing with Jamie and Beth like fighting to the death where Beth kills him gets away with it lying. That seems to be like a cliffhanger. Considering the fact that she lied to the authorities saying that Jamie and her got in a fight and Jamie fled the scene. I'm not sure but I feel like if there's a spin-off God help us. I could see the train station getting discovered and well Jamie's body getting discovered. Regardless on how deteriorated the body is a medical examiner regardless is going to find clues revealing that Beth lied. Unless they can make it look like that Jamie ran into the wrong crowd and got himself killed. Either way the story Beth was telling the authorities about what really happened and the fact that Jamie's probably got some wood from the fight between Beth and him really is going to reveal that she lied.
very disappointing ending of the series. looks as if sheridan has run out of ideas and money, and without kevin he just needed to bring this to the end somehow. 1. whole dutton family has gone nuts because of greed, and many people died because of that greed including kevin, but at the end they gave the land to natives for free ? so what was the point of all that deaths ? so instead of selling part of the land to developers as was proposed many times and living their lives happily they have lost their lives and land ? 2. how can anyone expect this trick with natives would work for the irs ? its like basically creating a fake expenses in order to kill your profit and avoid profit tax, cmon, tax office anywhere in the world much less in us would instantly grill this deal. Also how were duttons able to sell it at all, only if they became the rightful owners after kevin ? that means they would have to pay inheritance tax anyway before the deal ? 2. how can police be so stupid to swallow the murder of jamie ? he is an attorney general, and given the recent death of the governor they would dig like crazy. any sane forensic team (CSI for example haha) would instantly see what happened there. beth came to her brothers house to talk but she had a bear spray with her ? how about jamie's blood which should be everywhere ?
I really liked the show until the last season but like all of his series Sheridan stretches them, makes spinoffs, and spreads everyone too thin. You can’t keep most actors all to yourself for years and years when you started off with an idea for a single movie or a single season. I see Sheridan’s attitude in real life as the way his character is in Yellowstone, a sarcastic ass!
Costner obviously had a great deal of say about the show bc without him was awful. The ending sucked. None of John’s children didn’t fight for the ranch. Rip would have been the only one.
I think only the click bait TH-camr making this video is the one who thinks he ruined the show. Taylor Sheridan ruined the show due to debt and personal greed
I think Kevin Costner could run yellowstone the Western j I know the time and ages are more expensive than when John Wayne was making his movies but I bet you Kevin Costner could run Yellowstone longer than John Wayne with his Westerns like I said he could be the new John Wayne I know times are more expensive but he does make on one hell of a cowboy he fits the parts just like John Wayne fitted his parts but I bet you Kevin Costner could run to Western about longer than John Wayne if it's not broke don't fix it look how long John Wayne ran his western movies Kevin Costner has got a chance to run Yellowstone just as far as John Wayne ran his westerns there's just not good really westerns anymore they just been all reruns it's time for something new and I say Kevin Costner could take this and run with it grab it by the bulls nuts and right out the storm just like John Wayne ran out the storm with his movies Kevin Costner has the chance to grab the bull butt of nuts this time and he ought to just write out the storm cuz he's a one hell of an actor and he fits all the parts I know he's expensive but good Westerns come with a price
Kevin Costner could be the next John Wayne he did a hell of a job dancing with wolves he has done other Westerns besides Yellowstone he is the perfect person they could take John Wayne's place doing Westerns I look at him is the new John Wayne when he does Westerns see Kevin Costner could keep you little stone going for years to come just like John Wayne did in his career Kevin Costner makes hell of Westerns and when Kevin Costner does Westerns I look at him like he's the new John Wayne kicks ass takes names he did a one hell of a job with dancing with wolves and he's doing the one hell of a job with Yellowstone he just needs to keep it going just like John Wayne did with his Western movies

Sheridan is on his way to becoming the next Michael Cimino.
im glad someone else said this.. whoever is making this video is either woefully uninformed or just trying to shit on Costner. its full of lies..
Yes he did force Kevin Costner out early but the show was always gonna end with the ranch being torn down and the land given back to the Native American people as Monica saidin a respectful way it was her people's land first
Kevin made the show. He is the reason for its crossover appeal
It was ruined by Sheridan's hubris. Period.
If the show would just focus on the Montana characters, there are many paths it could take and still be fantastic. But dividing the limited time between Montana and Texas, and the lack of continuity with the time jumping back and forth, really hurt this season.
Im pretty sure the way it was split was suppose to be the 6666 ranch spin off
Well Texas must be next to Montana with all the roundups and horse movements and sending staff to Texas to learn to be cowboys was a bit of a stretch...Just getting Sheridan's farm on the series.
He made us believe that Texas was about a 20 minute drive from Montana. It was so weak to put Texas in there.
Rip worked in Texas that made sense quit complaining
The final season was a masterpiece..great job Sheridan
He was Yellowstone ,Taylor screwed it up !
Taylor Sheridan owns the show he wrote it created it Kevin Costner was actor/ CO Producer
Anyone can be replaced even Kevin Costner, Taylor should've just hired Josh Lucas he showed he had the grit to do it
Costner is a big baby about this suicide/ murder
He played a part in his younger years as a man commiting suicide
Beth even had admitted it's better without Kevin
Yellowstone has more beautiful landscape and scenery than 6666 - it's part of why i love Yellowstone- and I'm from Texas so
AMEN😊
@@texasjewelz5470central txas is boring af to drive
Yes! It made me, a Texas, want to move to MT. But then realized I couldn't handle the winters. Haha.
If Sheridan wasn't trying to launch a dozen different shows all at once, maybe YS coulda been filmed on schedule
And stupid soulless merch
Here’s a plot twist that would keep it going. Consider this ;
John Dutton has a cousin in Argentina.
Colby was killed for the sake of teeter’s character development and building her up for a larger role on 6666…
Killing Colby I did not like yes I think they were trying to show Ranch life can be risky and that no character is in destructible or some crap but really why break Teeter's heart she was so sweet and a great character I welled up when she came back for John's goodbye but grief changes you it just does Thank God Beth has rip and some people said Rip was well it wasn't complimentary cowboys are allowed to have emotions and cry especially over the ones they love the entire point of the show was he is the calm in the tornado that is Beth both have tragic childhood's his kinda worse but that drew them to each other at young ages so she got pregnant it happens in real life she trusted the wrong person to help because she felt her daddy would be mad and he apologized to her later when he found as an adult what she went through that she felt she could not come to him he apologized for making her think that
iin short no matter the intent I agree it was stupid and unnecessary Colby being killed but thatranching stuff happens
and the investigator told Beth as she was out in the ambulance that Jamie had not cooperated with the investigation into John's death which Kaycee had reopened and ruled undetermined so the investigators knew Jamie was involved and they knew about him and Sarah Atwood
Worst ending of any tv show ever. It's ridiculous. Yes people who inherit $5billion in property always give it away immediately
Absolutely, and thats why his prize narcissist character Beth gets away with zero accountability
No one believed that Beth would die and we all knew Jamie was going to die so nothing was ruined
You literally can't speak for everyone. That's so silly.
Kevin Costner was the brains behind the show and the face of the show. Not even close to being as good as when Kevin Costner was on the show.
Jaimie wanted Sarah to kill Beth not John Dutton
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO NOTICED THE SAME THING I DID!!
They were talking about Beth being insane, dangerous, evil and a threat to him and his goal of becoming governor, and with Jamie knowing Beth knew he murdered his dad, they decided she needed to be taken care of! Not John!
There’s a bunch of bullshit Kevin Costner did not ruin Yellowstone. Sheridan did.!
Paramountplus made a critical mistake bc the fans are not happy!
Yellowstone was awesome until it wasn't. You cannot get rid of the main character and have success!
I agree fantastic show give it up to him for all his spin offs and etc.however were talking about Kevin being killed off,REALLY 😮
It goes to Tate! But the reservation is involved, based on 1883, it all ties to Tate!

Its a great show and yes some characters can do a spinoff after watching through out the season., but one thing that led me to trying this in the first place was Costner.
Its not easy trying to choose what TV show I'll invest with some of my free time and seeing Costner as one that leads made me decide to try watching it.
No one ruined Yellowstone because Yellowstone has not been ruined! I still love it as much as I did on day one.
Totally agree, I love it all, it’s defiantly not ruined for me because I don’t look behind the scenes, I just immerse myself in Yellowstone and it’s amazing characters, brilliantly written
No offense but you must be easily entertained,, the show is terrible now
@@jameswesterman9283what about the show do you find terrible, and when did it start going downhill for you?
Knowing an person inside, the 6 episodes we are watching right now were supposed to culminate with John's assassination. Then there was either going to be a season 6, a movie, or Beth, Rip, Kayce spin-off after 2 years, one that would tie together Land Man and the Madison. Costner leaving messed that up, so episode one (9) became John's death. The six episode would see John passing a big piece of legislation that would make the Yellowstone's unused pieces protected parkway, bringing in Federal revenue.

Fans have zero faith the way that they are ending this series! There is no way this final season is better than originally planned. So far, up to season 5 episode 13, it has been nothing but a let down with personal advertisements for TS and filler for 15 to 30min of every episode.😢
Just looked like Yellowstone was more popular than the project Costner did.
6666 is about the new beginning for Rio Beth and the family they are likely gonna keep Carter and I saw rip holding a small child likely Jamie's the Duttons kids are gonna get their own lives they stayed at the ranch for Joh and to carry out his last wish sooner than they wanted but it is what it is sadly they came full circle every kid grows up and leaves home to start their own lives and families that's what Beth and Rip and Kaycee and Monica did that's all why is everyone so pissed about that it would eventually happen with or without Kevin Costner being killed off that part is the part you should pissed off about not that Beth gave Jamie his Just Desserts
its gonna be new beginning for John's kids be happy for them
I ment Rip not Rio oops LOL sorry Cole
How I would’ve loved to see Robert Redford on the YS, he makes a fine cowboy, as in ‘The Horse Whisperer.’
I seriously doubt he and the egomaniac Sheridan would’ve been compatible tho.
Done.
Can't blame Costner. Tyler has too many other projects going on 🤷🏻♂️
I'm guessing that TS has to blame someone besides himself it's not even worth watching anymore
Who the hell of the fans wants Jaime to have a good ending ?! I felt sorry for him sometimes especially in the earlier seasons but he is such a spineless weasel. Not to mention he MURDERED a reporter and his own BIOLOGICAL FATHER in cold blood.
Sheridan destroyed the final season by taking 2 years to complete a half season worth of scripts.
Series finale will be lackluster
BTW perhaps this all plays out the way it looks on the surface, with Jamie taking the fall. But I have a theory:
1) John's cancer had returned and was terminal.
LOL...everyone knew Jamie wasn't going to make it out alive.
CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS SHOW!
Episode 13 was the worst episode I've ever seen.
Bottom line they messed up period
T.S. ruined it‼️
All because of a pissing for distance contest with a legend‼️‼️‼️

Not true. Denim didn’t know his characters fate until recently. He says he found out in May of this year. Unless he is lying.
No interest in a 6666 show that would be a remake of Yellowstone
Just in the desert
The last two episodes seemed kinda rushed and not the usual quality.
What is this a save the face of Sheridan video?
Costner came back and they said NO
They was already in the middle of the 5 B by them Costner was already dead
The ending has been botched...I can already sense it
I find it laughably that every blames sheridan and gives credit to kevin costner, who didn’t write a single line for the series. This was taylors brain child . Get over it . Kevin got paid for his acting that was it .
Executive producers only get their name slapped on it but paramount was the bankroll !
“Spoiled by telling us the next Season is about Beth.”
Umm, Jamie killed Beth, she comes back as a zombie in the next season X3
I think the problems are when big egos collide you get this rift. Taylor wrote a script and Costner is just used to always having his way with everything. At least they didn't turn Yellowstone into Waterworld.
My theory for the finale of this season. Rip and Beth confront Jamie and Jamie shoots Beth. Either Beth also gets a shot off fatally wounding Jamie or Rip shoots him. Finale ends with Beth on a stretcher put into an ambulance.
All I want to know is whatever happened to lug nut boy?😢
"Kayce", not "Kasey".

Is my spelling (or my phone’s spelling) the only critique you have?
The finale was good, but the last 5 episodes weren't available on Paramount plus which we were already paying for. We were forced to purchase the last 5to finish the series. This was sneaky and wrong in my opinion.
You sound some kind of bias/see Costner interview!
But that nothing new
Being exe producer. Kevin costner had the right to question. The scripts.
Did this video not see any episodes? John Dutton is dead. Terrible video.
I would argue Kaycee was always John's favorite and he treated him as the oldest son. Beth was always fighting with John. Dont now how you got that. If its just Rip and Beth I am done. Kaycee must play a big role. He is the biggest actor Luke Grimes and the only son.
It’s so bad this last half of the season I’m glad I’m not going to miss it.
That’s not why he left. Costner wanted to do other projects and Yellowstone couldn’t commit to dates. Basically they wanted him to work on Yellowstone only.
This is why he’s not in this season
Western?? I guess, kinda.
More than anything else, and first most it is a SOAP OPERA.
TS did as its success got to his big head. Getting to a pt where one thinks he is above and more important that Kevin C is insane.
Won't be the same without Kevin
The only other shows I like really are Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown.
Sheridan should stick with writing and stay out of acting. He sucks in this cast.
Season 6 would not surprise me
Yeah this would have worked if it wasn't for Paramount.
Should have been a limited series. Or maybe max, 2 seasons
Jamie wasn't loathe only by Beth
I really liked the show until the last season but like all of his series Sheridan stretches them, makes spinoffs, and spreads everyone too thin. You can’t keep most actors all to yourself for years and years when you started off with an idea for a single movie or a single season. I see Sheridan’s attitude in real life as the way his character is in Yellowstone, a sarcastic ass!
It’s not a spoiler come on now. We all know Jaime was gonna get what was coming to him
Honestly enjoyed Horizon more than Yellowstone
Who's show is it? You cannot serve two masters. It is what it is; something we have no control over
That two year plus wait was caused by who?
By whom? By sheridan
Tired of YT censorchip.
It's not a Western, it is an Anti- Western. Much like John Wayne was a Western Hero, while Clint was the Western Anti Hero.
The show had a crappy ending. No logic. No sense. Rediculous timing of the depicted events.
Longmire>Yellowstone
The show was ruined after Costner left.
Well obviously beth didnt inherit the ranch. Its gone now
The ending was lazy writing. And Costner should’ve came back and finished the epic right, but he didn’t.
Beth and Rip gonna die and Casey gonna get and tie into Madison’s show
Tylor Sheridan writing went downhill
Naaaahhhh…. It was always Rip and Beth for me
”The guy…”?
Hope he’s not one the actors and just a writer , god help us if he is
Such a disappointing ending
Still waiting on 1923
Kevin Costner could be the next John Wayne he did a hell of a job dancing with wolves he has done other Westerns besides Yellowstone he is the perfect person they could take John Wayne's place doing Westerns I look at him is the new John Wayne when he does Westerns see Kevin Costner could keep you little stone going for years to come just like John Wayne did in his career Kevin Costner makes hell of Westerns and when Kevin Costner does Westerns I look at him like he's the new John Wayne kicks ass takes names he did a one hell of a job with dancing with wolves and he's doing the one hell of a job with Yellowstone he just needs to keep it going just like John Wayne did with his Western movies
only problem is he is a lib and John Wayne was a true blue patriot conservative. i agree. KC could've taken JW's place, but his politics done him in.
