Ingrid Bergman is wonderful. You should check her out in the Alfred Hitchcock "Notorious" and "Spellbound". In " Spellbound" HItchcock uses Salvador Dali's artworks to make the point that dreams are surrealistic.
Wow with Gaslight, she was releasing these movies yearly back to back! I see Spellbound is free here on TH-cam so I’ll probably check it out. I’d love to see more of her
Oh my, I haven’t had a comment on this video in ages. GOOD QUESTION, it was the one that piqued my interest initially and I only found out there was another version after the fact - if I remember correctly
just because you're ignorant of something doesn't mean it is underrated or unknown, sweetie - it just means you're ignorant. This is a famous movie, not an unknown movie.
@@Marcel_Audubon In all fairness, knowledge of classic movies is pretty much becoming nonexistent as the generations go by so bringing up awareness is the best anyone can do lol
Had to record twice
Had to upload twice
While I looked more civilized on take 1, this is my favorite vid in a WHILE
Fireworks in the background 😎.
Funniest part of it all 😂

This is available on the Internet Archive where I downloaded both versions the other day. I'll watch them soon.
Love to hear that. Been meaning to make a video on another classic
Why not watch the best version of the film. The 1940 one.

Review more underrated/unknown black and white movies 🎥 🎞️
I’ve got a couple in mind already 😶
