    What I recommend for anyone who wants to learn how to defeat this is to first practice on the blind one as it’s easier to dodge also the weapon a reccomend is a mod called the echo lance (Idk who made it tho) as it has explosives and a high firerate

      @@RaftermanNZ Also, in the future if you are going to upload more Teardown and at the same time play on dark maps then just increase the bit rate, almost all the video is just a compressed dark mess

      Yeah that's a fair point. Uploading at 1440p and 25mbps is decent imo, but could be better. But it still ramps up the video file to crazy sizes. I'0l try 40 next time and see where that gets me. But i did notice the color banding is terrible.

    really sad that its currently basically impossible to play teardown without ever having to experience lag
    pay your ass off and still there is atleast 1 game that lags, and its teardown

    • @RaftermanNZ
      @RaftermanNZ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well there's a bottleneck with my CPU, makes the lag worse. Plus I did other goofy things to my rig. Spent all my monies on the GPU, because fuck it. I'm an adult with adult money. lol An RTX 3090 definitely doesn't guarantee a lag free experience.
      I don't blame Teardown at all. In fact, it's one of the most optimized physics destruction games I've ever played. I started playing it on a 1080ti. Worked great.
      This is a modded map too. For the level of physics this game has, the performance is amazing. It's just when you start using mods or start doing things outside of the scope of what the developer intended, does lag come in to play. I'd still much rather a dev leave the door open to people pushing their creations beyond its design, than to have it locked down.
      When playing the campaign levels, and doing sandbox things on vanilla maps without mods, lag is not an issue whatsoever. Unless I blow up entire buildings... But that's to be expected at any level.
      Not sure what people expect when they buy high-end hardware. lol Especially when their game is heavily modded. I bought my hardware knowing full well the limitations of the software and hardware and that mods would deeply impact performance. But they're also mods that push the game engine beyond what it was designed to do.
