      I just did my buddy’s truck about 2 weeks ago. Another tip, get 3M Adhesive spray and a set of Blackout Curtains. Cut of the window inserts with that stuff then spray the adhesive onto it and lay the blackout curtain on it. Cut it out then install in your windows once it’s dry. Instead of being able to see that silver bubble wrap from the outside, you’ll just see the blackout curtain. Looks a bit more professional

    I did the same for my Mega Cab. Fun fact because of the air bubbles the insulation grows and shrinks with the changes in temperature. When it is colder I have a gap and in the hot sun it fits tightly. I don't like the chrome look when you look from the outside. My next idea is to wrap the reflectix with black material.

      Nice nice...every dollar counts. I act grabbed the bigger roll that's 4ft tall instead of the 2ft roll...I just got into a 2019 Ford f350 4dr long bed and the way the front doors are shaped I was worried that the 2ft roll wasn't gonna b tall enough..and I did not wanna have to piece it together and have it looking ghetto...by the way, your truck is seriously my dream machine lol...i cant imagine what you paid for that truck but when your stretched out in that sleeper it has to make the price a little but easier to deal with

      @@DreamInspired
      Real quick, I bought the 4ft roll like I said and was gonna do it Tomorrow..how did you go about cutting them to fit so perfectly? I was thinking cutting a decent size piece and holding up to the inside of the window and just usu g a brand new razor blade real careful or making a template first out of newspaper or posterboard then trace it out off of that..any advice will help

    • @DreamInspired
      @DreamInspired  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used scissors and it was pretty easy. I started by just measuring and cutting a good sized piece. The I put it up against the outside of the window and traced it out with a marker. I purposely traced and cut to big to make sure I didn’t cut too small. Then I fit it into the window and snipped off the excess.
