Yes just seen them doing loops over Denmark after Lithuania Latvia Estonia. Circled Peterborough then flew over my house en route to Fairford.
I love the way they belch out coal dust just like the last Vulcans did (lol).

well they are powered by 8 jet engines that are mounted just under their wings in 4 twin pods.....and if you noticed that when these planes land, you can actually see small wheels near the wing tips, that's if you look closer at the planes, like i did when i was seeing this video and i actually jumped to google to get an even closer view of these Giant Planes wings and well there are actually small wheels situated near the tips of the wings no doubt to actually act as counter weights to balance the wings which are 56 meters or 185 feet long..... and has a body length of 160 feet 10.9 inches or in other words 49 meters long...... those Bombers are seriously MASSIVE! but i will not lie, i actually agree with you on what you just said because the minute i saw these planes i actually HAD to find out more information just like i did with my Pesky Little Friends, the Osprey planes, that took me 5 minutes to actually find the information i was trying to look for because i was actually getting information about Osprey The Bird Of Prey that is in nature, and not about Osprey The Plane, because i wanted to know about Osprey The Plane and i didn't even know if there was anything with the name of Osprey even in nature.... so yes that's why i call the Osprey, "Osprey: The Plane" or "Those Pesky Little Heli-Planes"..... but actually these Osprey planes were actually what got me interested into learning more about all the other planes ...... 🙂

@@rebeccafionacornel6558 I attended an airshow today and will again tomorrow and these are just parked in the open for people to walk around and sit under if they please. They're actually smaller than what I imagine. They look massive when they fly but the wing flex is probably the coolest part. There was also a U2 spy plane that did some touch and goes and flew in and departed at 70k feet. What a sight. Crossed that off my bucket list of things to see in person.

Yup! 185 feet or 56 meters long..... those wings are extremely long..... and did you notice that there are small wheels that are actually attached near the wing tips that you'll only notice when these planes land or take off because these wheels are very small and not like the wheels that you see coming out from under the plane's body, which is very visible, plus the second reason you would have trouble noticing the wheels at the tip of these planes' wings is because it's situated just between the last and the second last bomb compartments that are also situated on the wings..... so unless you are in a good angle from where you can see not just the whole plane landing or unless you have a handy-cam or a phone that has an amazing Zoom range capability, like these guys from CobraEmergency have, you won't even notice that..... and i actually had to look for a video that had a more closeup view of the under side of these planes' wings because i really thought that i was imagining things, and i actually found a video on TH-cam that actually had a close up of the wings of these planes as they landed which was a video that was posted 2 years back by that other channel..... so yes, there are small wheels at the tips of the wings of these Giant planes!

YAY! those planes are my next favorites after those Pesky little Heli planes, The Osprey! and the Heavy/ Cargo planes (i mainly love the rotors on their wings they remind me of Windmill Turbines for some odd reason) and yes Helicopters are also pretty awesome as well......... the Fighter Jets look like Sniper bullets when they fly over head, i actually love that!....... Awesome work you guys..... "Valde Bona" as i will say in Latin! or "Muy Bueno" in Spanish! or "Tres Bien" or "Tres Bon" in French! or "Sehr Gut" in German! or (my personal favourite) "Molto Bene" in Italiano (a.k.a: Italian)

Just a Correction on your video title, They landed at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire in the United Kingdom, Which is part of Europe, Europe is a Geographical term the UK -British Isles has been part of that land mass for millions of years ,It was only until around 10000 years ago When it was referred to as Pangia when the Continents of earth separated that the likes of Iceland Greenland and the What we call the British Isles now the UK and island of Ireland came into existence, Not physically part of The European mainland but has always been part of Geographic Europe. 👍

Why do military aircraft always fly over the base before turning and setting up for landing? I see it even with aircraft carrier operations where they overfly the ship…then turn back and set up for landing. Is there a tactical or strategic reason they do this? Just curious…I know someone out there will know the answer.

one of the primary reasons is that very often military aircraft fly in formations (2 or more) and flying an overhead pattern allows the aircraft, once over the airport, to "break" a few seconds apart thereby easily establishing an in-trail downwind entry

We have seen B52s regularly flying along Ukraine's frontiers with Poland, Belarus, but not so far along Russia. And how many flights from Russia of heavy bombers (in contrast to jet fighters) have there been? None so far as I can see. They are not practicing and preparing for a war between NATO and Russia, whereas the B52's are. B52s can each launch 20 cruise missiles. They have several differet sorts of protection against radar from Surface to Air Missiles, to which should be added the jet fighter escorts that join the B52s as they pass between non-Russian countries in Europe, and have the immediate potential to launch anti-SAM flack.
No wonder Russia are always testing and bragging about their few hypersonic missiles. But each B52 carries 20 war-heads. And NATO still has its nuclear deterrant.
