Hi, we're interested in this card. We actually plan to use it at Intercontinental Da Nang, but read on someone's comment it can't be topped off. Is that true? I couldn't find anything on the fine print. We would appreciate your input.
I saw your video last week, told my BF and we both got this card, we are planing a trip to asia next week, looking at the IHG hotels now. thank you lol
oh hell yea I got this card last month and getting ready to go to Singapore in Oct. looking forward to my 5 free nights, and also booked the cruise out of Singapore and flights so yes I got all the bonus point plus the extra 100,000 bonus points. so yes I agree with you. sorry as I just saw this and would of signed with you. but I signed up last month, its a great deal
This is not a great offer. Why? 1. Certificates expires in one year. 2. Certificate Cannot be top off , so you need to find hotels within 50 to 59k per night to fully redeem the value. 3. Theres no much IHG hotels nights within the 50 a 59k range.
If you stay regularly stay at IHG hotels it’s a good deal. You can get up to 26x on purchases you would make anyway, and a free night a year. I am sure there is somewhere most be can go for the sign up bonus. Especially Holiday Inn / Iberostar in the Caribbean or Europe especially if it’s off season.
I got lucky when I found Intercontinental Yokohama Grand, if you don't mind being a train ride away from the city. Managed to get 8 nights (2 free by booking 2 four nights for the free fourth night) back in June and still had some points left over. Always be checking daily for value deals.
"Don't have another gas card" There are TWO no annual fee rotating category cards, the Chase Freedom Flex and the Discover it Card that have 5% rotating categories that usually have gas at least one quarter of the year.
fyi they still have a bonus but it's 4 nights (up to 40k points each) now. I believe the limit on the SUB is the standard Chase 24 month limit. BUT this card is unique in that you don't seem to be eligible for a SUB if you have ANY OTHER IHG card -including business.

Wow. 10 nights at fairly upscale hotels! You two are for sure maximizing your airfare and really bringing the cost of your trip down.

Not too many redemptions at 60,000 points I’d compare it to 125,000 points I’d rather have the 175,000 points

Question:: If I couldn't or didn't want to get the card, Can you get the benefits by having an IHG account and buying the points?
I got the 175,000 offer, what are the best stays in Tokyo that I could get for? Staying for 8 days
There’s definitely lower tier offers where you can literally stay for the entire 8 days! I’ll get back to you and find some

How can I find a 5 free night from ihg after I hit $4000 after 3 months?

IHG in Asia is the best
IHG Danang ((:
Problem with IHG is every January they devalue their points so these points will become worthless in 5 months.
Am I eligible for this bonus if I already have this card and received a signon bonus in the past 4 years?
