One more thing is how humans don't have a power system of their own. All of them use the same ODM gear and thunder spears yet the battles are intense and satisfying. That shows that you don't have to give every character an ability of his own to make fights interesting.
It's so nice to see a video in Aot's power system. Its one of those many ppl just don't talk about despite the popularity of the show & how well constructed it is.
@@ZenithAniManga We've seen it a few times. Porco has to be using it after his head is blown up and he's still walking. His eyes look dead, too. But, more importantly, we see Eren use it when he's just a long ass spine.
I thought this power system was cool, then I learned about Ultraman and mecha anime, and it gave me a whole different appreciation of it. Ultraman is a live action special effects show called Tokusatsu, and it involves a normal human turning into a giant called Ultraman to fight off against (alien) invaders. Sound familiar? It takes that idea from Ultraman, and puts that into a military drama based off prejudice, which sounds like Gundam or Muv Luv, but instead of mechs, its kaiju. I find that the changes made to Ultraman formula to make it progress the story of Attack on Titan is brilliant, as it takes genre conventions and makes it its own.
Attack On Titan's power system is merely a tool to enhance the already great plot. However, for most other animes, the power system itself is the main highlight of their shows.
Ok, TH-cam, I understand the need for revenue. An unskippable ad at the beginning of a video is one thing. A surprise 'unskippable advert, mid video, immediately after the creator's own sponsorship section? That's taking the piss, disrespecting the creators that use this platform, and the viewers trying to enjoy their content.
Zenith, Attack on Titan's series FINALE this coming FALL has the entire global media entertainment holding their breathes. It's absolutely insane. No show comes close, not even Game of Thrones, or even Breaking Bad. You ready dawg ??

I think the consciousness transfer thing was a joke by Isayama: since Reiner is the armored titan then he's supposed to have plot armor
That's gotta be it, because I dont think we ever see that again. So weird. Plot armor titan strikes again

@@muntu1221 Ah thank you, I did forget about Porco
Reiner can transfer his consciousness into his balls

2:15 minute ad in an 11 minute video
I do want to add it was a good video in every other way
Bro 50% of the video is an ad, I get the grind but 50%?
Yeah, imma try to make the next vid longer so its less notable, but I had to follow certain things for the contract I signed
haggis and so the age of FZ-like (the ones especially from the Sirius era) driven Choices and Actions continues, yep.- [mumbled]

No way I just thought about if aot has something consided a power system... today!

Its gonna be crazy seeing it all be over. I'm ready
Really? I didn’t notice the hype for this ending.
1/3 of the vid sponsorship damn
Great video as usual :)
Thank you!
Nice video but you trippin if u think ima subscribe when 1/3 of your video is an ad, lmao
Nice vid!
Thank you!

No prob :)
The amount of spite mus AOT gets is just unfair
I’m still waiting for the day when people start to realize the hall urge is is actually immortal
long ass sponsor
Dude like a 3rd of the video is a sponsorship that adds nothing. Kinda lame
A 3 minute sponsor segment? Disliked.
so
Basicaly Attack on Titan has NO Power System
at least compared to HxH and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
It does. Just that AOT's power system has high costs, which makes the stakes for each user high.
