When I installed 24h2 my ethernet didn't connect at all. What I did is to return to my old driver and the problem was solved. But I got a blue screen doing that. After that everything is working well but I am afraid of updating my intel killer driver and I don't know is the problem will come back.
I got 24H2 last week, it just started downloading on its own. So I let it do its thing, and yes everything worked fine. It was successful. But it seems they are correcting something now, almost every day, when I turn on the laptop something is updating. But so far everything works. Oh except my printer now
There's also a spying issue with v24H2: Recall is enabled by default, without the knowledge or consent of the users! It can be disabled through a Command Prompt command.
Mwahahaha... had that old Vista laptop. Reinstalled Vistas, to sell, for spare parts, as a hinge was broken too. It didn't connect to the wifi. Ever since the reinstallation. A few years after it was resting in a wardrobe I gave Linux a go earlier this year, firstly on a different machine and then tried the old one. Everything worked fine, on 32bit as well as on 64 bit distro. Ordered a pair of new hinges and replaced. Cleaned of dust and repasted inside. It works like new. I have my old buddy back! It is called Wilma. The world has moved on but Microsoft still struggles with the same issues LMAO.
Bro, can you make a video of, on 11 24H2 where you can not access a shared drive either to or from an 11 PC, because in 11 24H2 the setting to disable password protected sharing is broken and makes no diff when you turn it off. And even if the shared network drive isn't password protected, 11 will still popup a panel demanding a user name & password. It has to do with Microsoft implementing SMB encryption, but even disabling this sometimes doesn't help. Please, Please Bro, look into this. The only way to get drive sharing working in 11 24H2 is to already have the drive shared in 10 then upgrade to 11 and I have seen that all your drive shares are then inherited by 11 and miraculously still work without providing a nonexistent password to access them.
A problem a day is the Microsoft way!
Does Mucrosoft even test Windows patches before releasing them? They used to test things.

Even though I am a bit of an enthusiast, I’m in no hurry to force upgrade (actually downgrade by some distance) from 23H2 to 24H2.

I feel like Microsoft forced this out despite of device and driver issues
I'm not upgrading till all the kinks are cleared up so in other words in a bout a year.
My problem was could not play BF4 had some error code turn back update help me
I don't have any network problem since I installed 24H2

My computer keeps losing the network until I reset the modem, this happens every day. Never had a problem until the 24h2 upgrade.
Did you fin a solution? I have the same problem :(
