Train Simulator Classic: N&W 605 (611) Exits Montgomery Tunnel in 1958

Like the previous video, this whistle was sourced from O. Winston Link's album "The Fading Giant (Sounds of Steam Railroading Vol.2)". This recording is of N&W J Class #605 as she pulled Train 16 "The Cavalier" in the late spring of 1958. This particular whistle sounds very similar to the whistle that the 611 wore from 2016 until this past May, when she received a J whistle from another one of her sisters (rumored to be from 609). The camera is set up at the exit of Hermosa Tunnel on Sherman Hill, standing in for Montgomery Tunnel on Christiansburg Mountain. The scene is based on the excellence photograph that Link took of N&W J Class #601 exiting Montgomery Tunnel on the night of December 14, 1955.
