Nice! It works really well, but when you get down to the last few flowers you're missing the H pattern is really good for getting the specific flower you need. :D
This is the best tutorial and guide, thank you so much! Other guides, while a little helpful, leave me overwhelmed then I don't follow them. There was one I followed recently that the field isn't symmetrical and I had to make my brain hurt trying to make it so, and try to remember where the flowers need to move to since I made it different. I might rip that one up and have to do this one. ♥

@@Yessshhhhh026 I had a lot of bad luck with blue roses too. You can make it an 'H' shape to quadruple your chances. Start with two roses on the top of the H, then you want the middle row of the 'H' to be Blue/Red Rose, Blue Hyacinth, Blue/Red Rose, once you have that you can pluck the top two roses. It's the same principle I used to get the Magenta Zinnia at 4:37

Thank for the video! I have a question about the two first squares with the "basic" flowers. Which flowers will spawn at the opposite angles? looking at your spreadsheet I refer to the cells with number 4 of NORMAL COLOR FOR NORMAL FLOWERS and FAE COLORS FOR FAE FLOWERS I ask this because I already have some hybrids so I would like to place them inside the cells where the hybrids should spawn
This is where it gets weird, in the far corners you are HOPING to get the unnatural solid colors, Yellow/Yellow Rose or White/White Rose for example. Unnatural solid colors are the hardest to get, and if you are unlucky and really need those exact flowers. I recommend trying the H pattern I used to get Magenta Zinnia at 4:37. If you wanted a Yellow Rose for example, the Middle would be a Yellow Tulip and the top two squares would be Red Roses. Once you get your Orange Roses on the middle row, get rid of the Red Roses that are touching the Orange Roses. It works for every flower, color you want in the center, type you want on the top.
When planting the first flowers in the tetris parts, should they be seeds that were bought or flowers bred from seeds? All I seem to get in the tetris areas is yellow tulips with a pink gene rather than a pink tulip with a yellow gene... Edit: I watched a few more times regarding the tetris area, at 2:34 you're hovering over the red rose with a blue gene in the center of the left tetris, would you keep that there and remove the original red rose with red gene to increase the odds to create a blue rose on either side of the red rose with a blue gene???? If that is the case, maybe I have been removing the seeds I need to increase my odds of getting the other colored flowers..
The first seeds in the Tetris T should be bought. At 2:44 I have EXACTLY what I want. On the left side in the center I have a Blue/Red Rose, on the right side in the center I have a Blue/Red Hyacinth. At that point I would remove the Red/Red Rose on the left and the Blue/Blue Hyacinth on the right leaving two empty spots in the T-arms on either side.

Absolutely, two reasons - Reason 1: Backup for safety reasons. You harvest, move and delete a lot of flowers in this process. I'm clumsy and I've accidentally deleted a flower I intended to move before. In fact in the first few seconds of the video, if you squint you can tell the orange trillium is missing and I'm trying to block it with my body so you can't see. Reason 2: Things that take flowers are super expensive. I needed 30 Red Zinnia to get the vibrant red palette in the game. And it was really hard getting ONE Red Zinnia. with two I can make a 4x4 plot with just the two of them near each other so I can mass produce Red Zinnia.

lol, I think you're the first person to say anything. It was supposed to be a magenta tulip, I accidentally grabbed a violet one from my rainbow storage for making that section of the video 🌷
It's actually 18, 3 fae flowers (hyacinth, zinnia, trillium) and 6 fae colors (blue, violet, magenta, teal, green, black). 3x6=18. I didn't catch my mistake until after I uploaded.

@@Ariesmonique So each of the 4x4 square plots is supposed to give you all the flowers for one of the corners of my rainbow database. 18 normal colored normal flowers, 6 normal colors x 3 normal flowers 18 fae colored fae flowers, 6 fae colors x 3 fae flowers 18 normal colored fae flowers, 6 normal colors x 3 fae flowers 18 fae colored normal flowers, 6 fae colors x 3 normal flowers 18 x 4 = 72 which is all 12 colors x all 6 flowers = 72 It's 72 flowers total. I accidentally say 16 in the video, because I'm dumb and math is hard.

They probably just didn't try it themselves. Almost all of the tutorials that were available before I made this video only did straight lines. I did a lot of experiments just to discover how flowers work and I was surprised to discover that any square that's adjacent to two flowers can spawn a new flower. For example if you plant flowers on your number pad at 4 and 3, flowers could spawn at 2 or 5. If you planted on 1 and 2, flowers can spawn at 4 or 5. If you plant at 4 and 6, flowers can spawn at 2, 5 or 8. I had to redesign my layout a couple times as I made new discoveries.
Yes! That's why I recommend the double rainbow storage, you just need two of the one flower you need. Make a big 6x6 flower bed, and put two of the one flower you need right in the middle and watch them reproduce out of control!

@@khahealz What I recommend is making a couple H's like I did to get the Magenta Zinnia at 4:36, Magenta Trilliums in the middle. White Lilies on top. Once you get Magenta/White Lilies in the middle row, remove the white Lilies. If you have 3 H's with four empty spots in the corners and w/m Lily, m/m Tril, w/m Lily in the middle rows. You have a 95% chance of getting a Magenta Lily in at least one of the corners.

You can change the middle T's after you get the flowers you need for the bottom squares. The T pattern is just one of the best I've found for getting a flower of a specific color. I personally didn't change the flowers in the middle T's, you don't have to. The bottom squares can get you all of the last flowers by themselves.

unfortunately it's random when the new flower blooms. You can triple your chances by making it a plus sign shape rather than a minus sign though!

Hi there, yep, flowers use a different type of soil bed. You need oak logs, silt and mulch to make flower beds.

You can change the middle T's after you get the flowers you need for the bottom squares. The T pattern is just one of the best I've found for getting a flower of a specific color. I personally didn't change the flowers in the middle T's, you don't have to. The bottom squares can get you all of the last flowers by themselves.

Oh lord, thank goodness it isn't. The way flowers explode if you look at them funny in that game, I wouldn't even attempt it. 😂
