This is the best flower breeding vid I’ve come across so far, although I’m only interested in getting all of the wings. I haven’t seen a video of an efficient way to just get the wings. Do you think you’ll ever do a vid specifically covering how to get the flowers for all of the wing types? I’d love to watch one by you because you’ve done the best job I’ve seen so far at explaining layouts and breeding mechanics
Absolutely amazing. I did mine in 6 years it was a disaster. I understood the process very easily but my layout was a disaster. I got lazy to keep it neat. Took me hours to organise afterwards 🙈
Thanks Shazz!. Well done on completing it though!. I'm annoyed I had to effectively breed the 1st three again to help with the final ones on the 2nd farm so could have been even quicker. I spent two seasons on the last purple tulips to complete it. Thanks for watching and commenting..

I have a clearer idea now how to approach this. If you could make a more detailed video on how to breed specific flower types for the wings that would be amazing to. Im trying to get black tulips but have no idea how to reach those because it will take a lot of breeding different types.

You’re most welcome Gui. That’s right. You need to mix a red rose with Lily to get a red rose with white gene (which is a pink rose). Then mix that with white lily to hope for the white rose. Two pinks (Roses) will give you better chance as you don’t have to worry about getting a lily offspring, but try with as many combinations of flowers that you have to get your target flower.
@GuiRodrigues actually no sorry. Was considering doing it. I was gifted a second copy so might get back to that to do some future videos if that sounds like something the community would be interested in.
im not understanding when you say moving the flowers or spot to a different spot? can you explain please? when do i pick the flowers? when i do will it breed a different one? i have 4 rows of 3 with on spot in the middle on every other one
Hi there @SugarGliderLuvr Thanks for watching the video and for your question. After 4 watering sessions, the seeds will grow to full bloom at mentioned at 2:27 (if it helps to re-watch bits). Picking the flowers will give you in hand the petals from the flower and leave behind the seeds. I'd recommend moving those seeds somewhere else if you're collecting a bunch of similar type/colours. leaving the spot free will allow the two parents to breed another flower, but depending on the parents, won't guarantee you the same offspring, as mentioned at the start of the video. flower type and colour is influenced from a 50/50 chance of the parents. hope that helps!
Oh. I managed some quirky results too. I meant to confirm what is carried through but I believe regardless of the visible colour, is the colour genes that are passed through. Let me know if you manage a blue lily from that parent. Would LOVE to know. The reason it’s white is that’s the original flower. And blue was taken from whatever it’s parents. Red and blue doesn’t make a blended colour so it just keeps the white visible flower colour. Hope that helps and thanks for watching and commenting!
To further explain, the 3 blended colours happen from either the first set of colours (red, white and yellow). They make ivory, orange and pink. When you mix a colour from the first set with a second set, it doesn’t blend at all. Hope that makes a bit more sense!
this has happened to me multiple times, and I'm still not sure what to make of it,, I have a blue hyacinth with magenta and red alleles, a magenta trillium with green and red alleles, and two white lilies both with magenta and red alleles. I've had other flowers with mixed fae-human alleles whose color actually does align with one of those alleles, like a green zinnia with red and green alleles. At this point, I'm still collecting them to see if I can figure out a pattern.
If it doesn't successfully breed, do you have to completely take out the middle flower and start it over or do you just keep pulling it and letting it grow back? (The middle breeding flower)

I’m sooooo confused 😫 so the flowers that have double genes do they show on the flower or just when you look at the genes? Because I’ve been picking them up so it can start over and they just say a solid color. HELP 😫
Hi there. Double genes as in two of the same colour? This means it ensures the child flower will be the same colour as the parent. And then 50/50 chance of the type it’s breeding with. By picking them up do you mean plucking the flowers back to seed?

Oh no LibrasReact. Which part is confusing. Would like to help. In the meantime. Each pair of arrows points to a child you’re looking for and then carry that child through to a subsequent breeding pair.
I’m hoping to finish the other walkthroughs but takes time to pull the images etc. to make magenta zinnia breed: Magenta Trillium with Green zinnia Wait for a black Zinnia Take that black zinnia and pair with another magenta trllium and wait for the magenta zinnia Or you can pair multiple black zinnia together. I also found that if I had TOO many flowers on one farm flowers wouldn’t spawn as often. Let me know how you go and good luck!

Hi there SimipourFanGirl. There’s a link in the description that shows all the combinations which I’ll leave linked in this comment. You mix a blue hyacinth with a magenta Trillium. When you get a magenta trillium with blue gene, breed that again with another blue hyacinth. And confirming you’re clearing the space to try again with the ZL for remove? I can’t recall how long it took for me but definitely possible.
