    A high value woman is kind, generous, and respectful towards the people around them, especially those who are of lower social standing. She is confident, self-assured, intelligent and articulate. She juggles her career and family well and is a source of love, strength and support to her family. Some women that I aspire to are Princess Catherine and Mrs Tharman!

      As a female this is how I view high value women too.
      Actually I'm surprised none of the guys nor the list said kindness and generosity. Kind of sad to see how most on the list is just about being great to a partner (high energy, discipline, comforting to people, got own life and friends/confidence)

    I think a high value woman is someone who sets high (yet realistic) standards for BOTH herself and her partner, and is skilful at setting, maintaining AND communicating her boundaries to her partner in a firm yet loving way. Easier said than done, but not impossible!
    Besides Esther Perel, world famous dating coach Matthew Hussey has also done a great job in unpacking the concept of what it means to be a high value woman.
    Only name dropping these two persons as I've found their bodies of work highly helpful in aiding me navigate the murky waters of how to establish and maintain healthy social relationships with others!

    Something I find disturbing is the requirement or perception that a high value woman has to Have It All, and have a Career.
    I think 'progressiveness' has somehow gone regressive in failing to recognise good homemakers as high value.
    There's a reason men on the battlefield cry out for their mothers, and not father's. The mother's role in society is shamefully understated. And increasingly so in this 'modern' era.

    If you noticed, whatever that was described as a high value woman by the women, were actually describing what they want to see in a masculine figure, and qualities they are attracted to in a man. They are not describing what a man wants in a high value woman.
    Men want high value women who are rational and nurturing. Women want high value men who are assertive and stoic.
    High value people are the ones who knows how to take care of people around them. It’s about values, not possessions. People look up to Kobe Bryant because of his life values, the work ethics he has to take care of the people around him. People look up to Princess Diana because of her values and how she takes care of people around her, not because she’s rich and is a princess.
    Of course, looks can help boost the high quality scale. But which one you can tahan more? A good looking annoying brat, or an average kind person?
    In the (paraphrased) words of Kevin Samuels:
    “Average looks isn’t a bad thing. It’s the values you bring to the table.”

    High value women have good strengths in Finance, Physicality, IQ and/or EQ. I don't think they need to slay all 4 categories, but having great strengths in one of the above show each woman's drive and priority in life, which equates to their high value too.

    • @tien8712
      @tien8712 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. How much a woman earn doesn't matter in other man eyes. Have you heard "His money is our money and her money is hers" ? so how does that makes her high value? so she can buy her own purse?
      2. A smart woman in this generation is what makes the relationship fk. If a woman is smart in this era, they had 0 obligation to do what a woman should do because she think she is better at everything.
      High value women is determine by what man likes in his life and a High value man is determine by what woman likes in her life.
      You might be mad but think for a sec. A men have been doing their traditional roles without complains but if they wanted a woman to do their traditional roles they get scold? You think being a traditional man is easier than being a traditional woman?

    • @csy897
      @csy897 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tien8712 The traditional male role is to take full responsibility of earning what the family requires and not grumble about being asked to work harder so that the family can have a better life. The traditional female role is to take full responsibility of household management including finances, caregiving and nurturing. One can be limited to 8h the other cannot. I won't say which one is harder but I don't think anyone in this day and age will want to take full responsibility of either role. I don't think it is about who is better at doing what but about each person filling in the gaps they see to the best of their ability. If one person is the one who is always filling the gaps, eventually, the relationship will crumble. Because one day that person will be down and when there's too many gaps the relationship will become unstable.

    Shout-out to the TDK cast: Potential topic/case study for discussion in a future episode (should you find it worthy of a discussion, here's the tea)-
    TL;DR: What would be a high value way to deal with a situation at work where you find out that your incoming new boss used to be your secondary school bully (and continued to dislike you even in adulthood for reasons that are unknown to you)?

    • @rinoacelin90
      @rinoacelin90 ปีที่แล้ว

      Related to the topic, the famous divorce and relationship therapist Esther Perel once said that our work relationships and romantic relationships tend to mirror each other. So someone who is high value in their romantic relationships would tend to have high value relationships at work too.

    Not to be insulting but it's always common for foreign helpers from the philippines or Indonesia who of course market themselves dancing or in a bikini hanging around clubs etc dating Caucasians and on rare occasions local. While some are lucky enough to find a partner most pretty much just ended up....discarded, as sadly their only assets is their face and body which over time tires quickly. As guys mature they want women not just based on appearance but those whom can have their own ambition and passion while at the same time show they are still being invested in their men. It is fair to also expect this from a men but society has a double standard and for men being able to provide and secure a future is expected of them( I believe John has talked about it)

    Hmm, genuinely easy to know what is a High Value women by listing down the end spectrum of two opposites traits and collate the answers from men between the two spectrum.
    For eg,
    Average looking/Pretty
    Homebody/Outgoing
    Submissive/Dominant
    Feminine/Masculine
    Softspoken/Outspoken
    Virgin/Non-Virgin
    .
    .
    etc
    Yes, every person has different likings. But I can guarantee, if you try this experiment, you will be able to see what majority of men lean towards to.

    It's even not that hard, a high value person is someone who has a clear understanding of their respective gender roles. There is no shame of man doing their respective roles and woman doing theirs. It's all fk up in this society when man want to act like woman and woman act like a man.
    A man's value is associated with his societal standing. Having status, such as financial stability, physical strength, a disciplined work ethic, confidence, and a sense of humour, is considered crucial for many men in order to attract women. This is why men often strive to acquire better cars and homes to enhance their status. They understand that they're in constant competition with other men to establish their standing. The woman you that you like, you don't think other men want her as well? Many men are aware that most women prioritize partners with status, and they will be useless without it. That's why women rather earn the lifestyle themselves when most men can't even provide for them. This is all men's fault 100%. It is hard to be a man. And that is why a man must work hard regardless of how they feel, if he takes a time off because he's not feeling motivated/sad that day, he will get fk. Be Discipline! You have no time to be sad.
    A woman's value is depends on her ability to enhance her man's status in the eyes of the world. A high-value woman is desired by other men but remains committed exclusively to her partner. When friends and family visit, she willingly offers hospitality, such as preparing meals, to make her partner shine in front of his close circles. As previously mentioned, men often work hard to attain status, while women can provide essential emotional support upon their return from work. This support includes having a meal ready, creating a peaceful environment, and managing household affairs. Agreeing with her partner's decisions is a key element in increasing her value, as men appreciate the trust and respect shown when their decisions are supported by their partners. Knows her boundaries to not show her bikini photos on Instagram to get attention from other males, not going to the club, not having male friends. Make her man secure that no CHANCE other people are going to steal her away from him because what most man are afraid of is his girl getting steal from other man. As I said, they're in constant competitions with other man, including YOUR EX's. In his mind, he will always be thinking, am I better than her ex, if she can do better will she do better? Am i second place? And woman's job is to make sure he is the number one man.
    The ONLY HAPPY relationship that works is a man be the head of his family, and a woman trust and respect him. Name a relationship that is happy when the woman is leading the family. You can't. They either broke up, angry and in constant argument. Other type of relationship is a ticking bomb.
