    Everyone seems to be missing the fact that Marcus Harper moved from left guard to right guard and Strother went to left because that’s where he played the most, and feels most comfortable, and that’s when the O-line got better. Harper is versatile thankfully. Can’t wait to see what the line looks like with Bedford in there at right guard, and Harper moving back to left guard.

    I think you're spot-on about the interior line play - except that figuring things out was hardly "one minor thing". Good Offensive line play is anything but "minor". It's almost everything in football.

    Oregon looks like a completely different team. At least that's what everyone is saying.

    Feels odd Big ten reporting on Ducks. I know Ducks are officially members. Just don’t think the other members welcome them.

      We didn’t accept Colorado or Utah either

    The O-line was the concern, with the least backup players. The QB clearly needed some reps together because it certainly showed. Oregon State is better than Idaho. So it was important to get the results. I hope our RBs can provide more explosive plays like the previous 4 years. We are great there, but we can certainly do better.

      True but he’s quicker, IMO Dillon runs as a RB, while Bo runs like a scrambler

      Well Dillon Gabriel still was not smart going to Oregon. Neither was Bo Nix! And now that Bo Nix is in the NFL! I HOPE THE WORST HAPPENS TO HIM. HE DESERVES IT AFTER HELPING THOSE CHEATING OREGON DUCKS GET THAT NATIONAL ATTENTION when Oregon was SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM POST SEASON PLAY DUE TO THEIR CHEATING WAYS.

    We tried to tell everyone that Oregon is elite, and the Ducks were playing vanilla to save the offense for bigger games. We intentionally saved stuff against Idaho, and we were going to do the same thing against Boise State, but they were better than we anticipated, which is why we opened it up after the first two vanilla drives.
    Oregon is still the team everyone said they were, but because of the national doubt, they’re building themselves into something they wouldn’t have been had they stayed at #3 nationally. They’re pissed off, and they are already bringing back the FEBU mantra, and we are still top10, and undefeated. And for those who don’t know what that means…it means Fu@% Everybody But Us.
    The media just woke up a monster!

      Oregon wasn’t playing vanilla. Seriously, stop posting this comment everywhere. We don’t do anything differently than we normally do. Main difference was our offensive line starters got ironed out without swapping out the line mid game.

    • @jedidiahdriscoll4963
      @jedidiahdriscoll4963 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We 100% did things differently, were you paying attention at all? Dillon didn’t scramble at all in the first game even though that used to be his go-to move, and they didn’t use any tricky plays until Oregon state…. Definitely Vanilla. Watch some film next time.

      @@princeofgreece9054 I tried to tell you! There’s a reason Oregon didn’t throw the ball down field until the game against Ohio State, but you and everyone else that doesn’t understand the difference between playing vanilla, and playing bad, thought Oregon was bad. The reality is, Oregon’s offense was one of the most dangerous in the country for the last 2yrs, and we turned down the potency on purpose because we knew people were dumb enough to believe that the Oregon offense had changed, even though we have better offensive weapons in 2024, than we didn’t in 2022 and 2023…and maybe our best OL since 2019, even though we should’ve won the Joe Moore award last year.

    Good take on Oregon. Love the content. Don’t listen to the haters and trolls, oregons haters are up there with Ohio State and Michigan haters.
    But I digress, point of my comment is you missed the mark on Bo Nix. While he was no Mariota, year one Bo would run (a lot) and he was fast (his TD for the broncos on week one I believe was over 20mph and was the fastest non WR in the league that week) Bo is easily better than Gabriel, he’s bigger stronger and faster and broke down defense and called audibles at the LOS. I like Gabe and think we can def win a Natty with him but Bo was more mobile and faster. Just saying. Keep up the good content brother.
    Go Ducks!
