Is there any template I could use for free in Octoparse that allows me to put a list of Keywords (a quite long one, I'm afraid, of over 9000 strings) and proceed to extract the exact details for every one of them you were mentioning above (if possible, of course)? Octoparse offers a couple of templates. But I don't think you can get them for free.
Hi Francois, thank you so much for the vide! I followed all the steps and for some reasons it only returns 1 line of result, which uses the coordinates of the general URL that I pasted into Octoparse at the start of the whole process. Do you have any idea where it might've gone wrong?

Hi, It might mean that there is a problem within the "Loop Text".
Don't know if this is a new trick by Google to prevent scraping but the coordinates within the URL aren't as accurate as the ones you get from right clicking on the location marker. In fact, they tend to be about a block or further away.

I don't think it is a serious problem. It depends where the page is displayed (in the center, slightly to the right and so on...).
@ I am not sure what you mean. Can you elaborate? When I extract the coordinates using the method you are suggesting above, the data (i.e. coordinates) I get is not as accurate as the data I get either from right clicking on the actual position marker on the map or by using MyMaps Google to plot all of the locations on a private map. In other words, the coordinates I get are not even accurate to the actual address. That is a pretty serious problem. Are you saying that I need to modify the steps that you provide above in order to get more accurate results? By the way, the coordinates in the URL are not even the same if we look them up outside of the Octoparse software.
I just experimented by moving the map around a bit and as you describe the coordinates do update accordingly. In that case is there a way to ensure that during the scraping we are zooming in as close to the marker as possible and in a consistent manner for each entry? Otherwise, the results can vary widely and are pretty much unusable when they fall outside of a specific building or block for example.

@@adscript4713 In the URL, there is an indicator of the Zoom level (from 3 - the whole world, to 21 - the most accurate). It can be a good starting point.

I have a problem with mine, the title and address is fine, but the latitude and longitude suddenly keep repeating the same one after the 42nd list, im confused since the address is clearly successful

I'have noticed that the process won't work correctly if you just scrape data from the Google Maps list. You have to enter the adresses first.
@ (Sorry for my bad english) Thank you so much for replying, I've solved the problem, turns out the problem is that because my country is relatively small not all the address are available in google maps. Because of that I put "go to webpage" inside the loop so it won't become a mess.

never mind! It seems that loop works as well. I manage to get the coordenates, but they are not as precise as I need. The Latitude and Longitude only have 7 decimals after de "." on the url. I need something more precise with more digits (like this: 46.34237534852354, 2.6030753695484754) , which you get when you right click on the red dropped pin of the location. The first option are the coordenates and if you click on it, it copies the long version to your clipboard. Cheers

Hi, "Enter text in bulk" is the very same thing as "Enter text in loop" ;)
@ thanks for that! What about retrieving the 14 decimals coordinates instead of the 7 decimals available on the url? Is it possible to automate a right click on the pin and select the first option which copies the accurate locations and then paste it on a field? Thanks
